Abstract

Ali Mustafa Yaqub is a pivotal figure in the development of literature and hadith dynamics in Indonesia. Through his works and ideas, he significantly contributed to hadith studies, both methodologically and substantively. This research aims to examine Ali Mustafa Yaqub's contributions to hadith literature development, discussing hadith dynamics widely accepted as authentic, yet revealed as inauthentic. Focusing on his research and dissemination approaches, this study analyzes the impact on society and academia. The findings indicate that Ali Mustafa Yaqub's contributions extend beyond writing, encompassing deeper hadith understanding education and dissemination among Indonesians.

Abstract

Muhammad Syuhudi Ismail is known as one of the scholars w ho is usually called Syuhudi Ismail, who has made important contributions to the development of hadith studies, especially in the context of understanding the meaning of hadith according to the situation and conditions of contemporary society. Therefore, he provides his own color in understanding hadith, especially from a contextual perspective, although he does not forget the textual perspective. This research aims to analyze Syuhudi Ismail's views regarding methods of understanding hadith through textual and contextual approaches. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, which examines the works of Syuhudi Ismail and his thoughts regarding hadith study methodology. In this analysis, it is explained how Syuhudi Ismail emphasizes the importance of maintaining a balance between a textual approach, which focuses on the literal meaning of the hadith, and a contextual approach, which takes into account the social, cultural and historical background. The research results show that Syuhudi Ismail's views on hadith make a significant contribution to the development of contemporary hadith studies, especially in efforts to understand hadith from various angles in order to face the challenges of modernity and the relevance of hadith in everyday life. The conclusion of this research is that Syuhudi Ismail's view emphasizes the importance of understanding hadith not only from the literal side of the text, but also from the social, cultural and historical context in which the hadith was uttered. With this contextual understanding, the messages and teachings contained in the hadith can be more relevant to apply today.

Abstract

This study examines Ahmad Hassan Bangil's thoughts on hadith, which is one of the important discussions in the history of hadith in the archipelago. Ahmad Hassan Bangil is one of the charismatic and critical scholars who has ever been present in the archipelago. His contribution to Islam in Indonesia is very large. Known as an expert in debating and also skilled in writing his ideas in his books has skyrocketed his name. Although Ahmad Hassan did not write his work in the form of hadith science, his thoughts on hadith are very scattered in his books. One of his most phenomenal books is Sual Jawab, a book that contains problems in religion consisting of four volumes. In the book, it can be seen how Ahmad Hassan expresses his critical and progressive thoughts in hadith. To find out how Ahmad Hassan expresses his ideas, a qualitative method is needed, namely by analyzing the contents of his book using a library research approach. Then it can be found how Ahmad Hassan is more critical in explaining hadith. Where the figure of Ahmad Hassan always emphasizes to be more critical in taking a hadith, he always tries to find information that makes him sure that the hadith can be practiced or abandoned. If there is a hadith that is considered not to meet the requirements of a valid hadith, then he does not hesitate to abandon it.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemikiran Hadhratusy Syeikh KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari dalam bidang hadits dan kontribusinya terhadap pengembangan pendidikan dan praktik Islam di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menggali cara pemikiran KH. Hasyim Asy'ari dalam menjembatani ajaran hadits dengan realitas sosial masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran beliau memberikan dampak signifikan dalam mencetak generasi ulama yang tidak hanya menguasai ilmu hadits secara mendalam, tetapi juga mampu mengaplikasikan ajaran tersebut dalam kehidupan sosial. KH. Hasyim Asy'ari menekankan pentingnya maqashid al-syari'ah dan hikmat al-tasyri' dalam penetapan hukum yang bersumber dari hadits, dengan mempertimbangkan konteks sosial dan tujuan yang terkandung di dalamnya. Pemikiran ini memperlihatkan bahwa hadits bukan hanya sebagai pedoman hukum, tetapi juga sebagai alat untuk menciptakan perubahan sosial yang adil dan bermartabat. Warisan pemikiran beliau terus memberikan inspirasi dan relevansi dalam menghadapi tantangan sosial dan moral di era modern, menjadikan hadits sebagai pedoman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, pemikiran KH. Hasyim Asy’ari tetap memberi kontribusi besar terhadap perkembangan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia hingga saat ini. Kata Kunci: Pemikiran Hadits, KH. M.
