Abstract

Higher education in Indonesia faces challenges in achieving equitable access for all layers of society, particularly concerning economic factors. The Indonesia Smart Card Scholarship (KIP) program is expected to enhance student engagement as a solution. This research aims to explore the impact of the KIP Scholarship Program on student engagement at the Gde Pudja Mataram State Hindu Institute. This study employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational research design involving 41 KIP scholarship recipients from the Hindu Economics Study Program. The results indicate that students' participation in academic and non-academic activities correlates positively with their overall engagement. These findings underscore the importance of scholarship programs and supportive activities in enhancing the quality of student experiences on campus and making significant contributions to the development of inclusive and effective higher education policies. In conclusion, the KIP Scholarship Program has a positive impact on student engagement, highlighting the importance of financial support and supportive activities in achieving equitable access to higher education.

Abstract

Creative economy training for Karang Anyar teenagers through the practice of making coconut sugar ice cream is a form of community service. The purpose of this activity is to provide technical skills in making contemporary beverages, foster creativity, and introduce simple marketing strategies that are in accordance with the development of the digital era. The implementation method includes observation, preparation, provision of materials, and direct practice. The results of the training showed an increase in technical skills, creativity, and confidence of adolescents in producing products with economic value. Participants are able to mix ingredients, serve drinks in an attractive way, and understand simple ways to market products through social media. This activity also plays an important role as a positive alternative to reduce adolescent involvement in negative activities such as drunkenness and gambling. Thus, this training not only increases individual capacity, but also opens up new business opportunities that support the sustainable development of the creative economy of village communities.

Abstract

Ketersediaan dan stabilitas kebutuhan pokok merupakan faktor penting dalam menjaga ketahanan ekonomi daerah dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pemerintah daerah memiliki peran strategis dalam menjamin keterjangkauan harga dan keberlanjutan pasokan kebutuhan pokok, salah satunya melalui pelaksanaan pasar rakyat atau pasar murah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pemerintah daerah melalui bidang bahan pokok dan penting (BAKOPTING) dalam menjaga ketersediaan dan stabilitas harga bahan pokok di kota mataram. Serta peran sinergi antara pemerintah daerah, distributor,dan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Metode penelitian yang digunakan Adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan data primer yang diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap informan yang diplih secara purposive, meliputi distributor (perum bulog),pelaku UMKM, dan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan pasar rakyat atau pasar murah mendapatkan respons yang sangat positif dari Masyarakat karena mampu menyediakan kebutuhan pokok dengan harga yag terjangkau dan menekan pengeluaran rumah tangga. Keterlibatan perum bulog berperan penting dalam menjamin keterediaan dan kelancaran distribusi bahan pangan strategis, sementara pastisipasi UMKM lokal memberikan dampak positif terhadap penguatan ekonomi lokal melalui promosi dan meningkatkan daya saing produk. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan kunci keberhasilan strategi stabilitas kebutuhan pokok serta berkontribusi terhadap penguatan sistem distribusi pangan yang berkelanjutan di kota mataram.
