Abstract

"Ahmed Body" is a well-established model of a hatchback car. In this study, computational simulations were conducted by using existing CFD software to capture "drag crisis" phenomena. Flow is assumed as incompressible flow with Reynolds Number of 4.3 x 10^6. A half of "Ahmed Body" was used in computational simulations with RANS method. Turbulence models that were employed mostly are k-e. The amount of grid cells used in computation is about 300.000. Computations were carried out mostly to get drag coefficients and also to examine vortex structure related to it. In "drag crisis" phenomena, maximum drag coefficient is reached at rear window angle of 30 degrees. Placement of spoilers and vortex generator has succesfully reduced the maximum drag coefficient at the critical angle of 30 degrees.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini diukur gaya hambat model mobil pick up Dodge RAM 150 dan dilakukan teknik visualisasi aliran untuk mengetahui detail pola aliran pada model tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini, gaya hambat yang diukur adalah gaya hambat total. Gaya hambat aerodinamika merupakan salah satu penyebab tingginya konsumsi bahan bakar untuk kendaraan darat. Studi dilakukan secara eksperimental dengan melakukan pengujian di terowongan angin berkecepatan rendah yang memiliki seksi uji berukuran 30 cm x 30 cm yang dilengkapi timbangan luar. Metoda pengurangan gaya hambat aerodinamika yang digunakan adalah penambahan perangkat pada model, yaitu berupa spoiler, kanopi dan spoiler + kanopi. Desain konfigurasi tambahan ini didapat dari pengamatan terhadap hasil visualisasi aliran dengan menggunakan bedak dan lempung China (China Clay). Pengujian dilakukan pada kecepatan 36 km/jam, 54 km/jam, 72 km/jam, 79.2 km/jam, dan 90 km/jam. Pengurangan gaya hambat karena pemasangan spoiler, kanopi, dan spoiler + kanopi bervariasi terhadap kecepatan. Pada kecepatan 90 km/jam efek pemasangan spoiler, kanopi, dan spoiler + kanopi menjadi tidak dominan.

Abstract

Pendidikan mengenai keselamatan berlalu lintas harus ditanamkan sejak dini di kalangan anak-anak sekolah. Untuk itu Pemerintah pun memberi perhatian khusus terhadap anak-anak usia sekolah ini yang ditandai dengan inisiatif untuk menggulirkan program Zona Selamat Sekolah (ZoSS) yaitu dengan memberikan edukasi serta dukungan sarana dan prasarana dalam penyelenggaraan perlindungan anak. Lokasi yang dipilih dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah sekolah dasar yang lokasi sekolahnya masuk dalam kategori rawan lalu lintas, lokasinya berada pada SD Mononutu kota Ternate Ketersedian Zona Selamat Sekolah (ZoSS) di SD Mononutu belum berfungsi maksimal, ini terlihat  masih adanya terjadi kecelakaan ringan maupun berat yang terjadi di seputaran ruas jalan sekolah, dari hasil sosialisasi pemaparan zona selamat sekola yang di sampikan ke pada siswa SD kelas V hampir seluruh murid kelas V belum paham dan mengerti tentang atribut dan rambu-rambu zona selamat sekolah serta fungsinya-fungsi dari marka dan rambu-rambu yang ada di lingkungan ruas jalan sekolah yang berada di lokasi sekolah mereka, hasil dari sosialisasi  dan edukasi Zona Selamat Sekolah diharapkan siswaseluruh siswa SD Mononuti dapat memahami dan mengerti tentang edukasi fungsi dan kegunaan zona selamat sekolah, serta memberikan rasa aman kepada para murid yang akan menyeberang di jalan. Diharapkan  dengan adanya kegiatan PKM dapat membantu penerapan tentang zona selamat sekolah dan dapat meminimalisir kecelakaan lalu lintas, yang ada di ruas jalan depan sekolah mereka.Kata Kunci: Zona, Selamat, Sekolah, Murid

Abstract

This research raises the topic of implementating the 2013 curriculum in improving the quality of education at Villanova Manokwari Middle School, West Papua. The aim is to find out whether the implementation of the 2013 curriculum can improve the quality of education at Villanova Manokwari Middle school. This research was conducted at Villanova Manokwari Catholic Middle School in November-December 2023 using a literature study approach with qualitative methods. This results show that Villanova Catholic Middle School has implemented the 2013 curriculum with a scientific approach. The main target is the development of student competence in the domains of attitudes, skills and knowledge. This can be seen in the teaching design created by teachers at school by adapting all teaching programs to follow the provisions of the 2013 curriculum which contain 4 competency domains, namely: Spiritual attitude competency (KI-I), social attitude competency (KI-2), knowledge competency (KI-3), and skillscompetency (KI-4). Based on the competency characteristics that are the reference for the 2013 curriculum, it is known that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in improving the quality of education places character education within the framework of the the dynamics and dialectics of the process of individual formation. This competency development is carried out through integrated thematic education at Villanova Catholic Middle School. Keywords: Implementation, 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to utilize a mixer methodology, which consists of two parts: a literature review and field studies. The theme of this paper is Islamic Education Cultural Management, and it discusses the history, conception, and management of transformative Islamic education actualization. There are three critical questions addressed in this paper. First, what does the concept of Cultural Management of Islamic Education in Islam entail Second, what is the history and conception of Islamic religious education management, Islam, and transformative culture in Indonesia. Third, what is the contribution of Islamic education management in a transformative Islamic culture in the Islamic education space in Indonesia, where teacher supervision is an integral process. Additionally, culture is an essential part of the local community and cannot be separated from the community's language. The transmission of culture, often referred to as local knowledge, is commonly achieved through the oral retelling of stories across generations. Islamic religious education is founded on principles of truth and nobility, advocating for the rejection of fictitious notions and the avoidance of inappropriate conduct or influence. The significance of Islamic religious leadership education lies in the ease with which it instills moral values and ethics, while also addressing the emotional and cognitive realms of the human experience. Furthermore, this education must be integrated with the cultural and touristic aspects of a region in a cohesive and synchronized manner, while staying true to the unique characteristics of the area.

Abstract

This study aims to examine strategies to improve graduate quality through the vocational program at MAN 2 Majalengka. Using a qualitative approach with a naturalistic inquiry method, the research was conducted at MAN 2 Majalengka, Majalengka Regency, West Java, during the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, from July 2024 to April 2025. Data were collected through observation, interviews, document analysis, and literature review. The findings show the vocational program positively influences students’ work readiness and competitiveness. Planning is conducted systematically and collaboratively, involving the school management team, vocational teachers, and industry partners. The curriculum is developed based on labor market demands and student interests. Implementation includes theoretical and practical learning at school, combined with internships in industry, with active support from teachers and instructors. The program’s success is strengthened by cooperation among the principal, vice principals, vocational teachers, industry partners, and parents. Evaluation is carried out through classroom monitoring, field practice, and feedback from industry partners. The impact is evident in the rising number of graduates continuing higher education or entering the workforce. Several alumni also succeeded in creating self-employment. These results confirm the vocational program bridges education and the labor market, thereby enhancing graduate quality significantly.
