Abstract

Pengetahuan dapat didefinisikan penggabungan data dan informasi. Data adalah fakta mentah, sedangkan informasi adalah data yang dilihat berdasarkan sudut pandang tertentu. Pengetahuan adalah infomasi yang bernilai relevan secara kontekstual dan dapat dikerjakan. Hubungan antara data, informasi dan pengetahuan mengungkapkan bahwa Pengetahuan berkembang seiring waktu disesuaikan dengan pengalaman yang membuat hubungan antara situasi dan peristiwa yang baru secara kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas tentang Knowledge processing dalam Pengelolaan Manajemen data. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah library research. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Pengolahan pengetahuan berbeda dengan komunikasi pengetahuan dengan cara yang sama seperti pengolahan data dan informasi berbeda dengan data dan komunikasi informasi. Selain itu, karena pemrosesan pengetahuan membawa kerumitan yang jauh lebih besar daripada pemprosesan data dan informasi, unit pengolahan pengetahuan atau the knowledge processing unit (KPU) dimulai di mana unit CPU dan sistem proses informasi berakhir.

Abstract

Multinational companies face challenges in managing financial data spread across various global branches. Distributed database architecture is considered a solution to integrate and manage data more efficiently and securely. PT. Syntax Corporation Indonesia as a multinational company has implemented this system, but its impact on the efficiency of financial data management and decision-making needs to be studied further. This research aims to explore the application of distributed database architecture in financial information systems in PT. Syntax Corporation Indonesia, as well as analyzing its impact on operational efficiency, risk management, and financial decision-making. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach with case studies. Data was collected through interviews with relevant stakeholders, questionnaires to system user staff, and documentation related to system implementation and evaluation. The data were then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques and descriptive statistics. The implementation of distributed database architecture at PT. Syntax Corporation Indonesia has succeeded in improving the efficiency of financial data processing, accelerating decision-making, and improving system reliability. However, challenges related to the cost of implementation and staff training remain a major obstacle. This research provides recommendations for strengthening IT infrastructure and ongoing training for company staff.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tantangan dan solusi terkait keamanan data dalam sistem perbankan digital di Indonesia, dengan fokus pada identifikasi masalah, kebijakan, dan teknologi yang diterapkan oleh bank digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada lima bank digital terkemuka di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan manajer keamanan TI, kuesioner kepada karyawan berlisensi TI, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen terkait kebijakan dan regulasi. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa tantangan terbesar yang dihadapi adalah klasifikasi data yang tidak sepenuhnya efektif, serta masalah terkait keamanan API dan kepatuhan terhadap regulasi. Meskipun berbagai solusi seperti multi-factor authentication (MFA) dan enkripsi data sudah diterapkan, kesenjangan dalam implementasi dan koordinasi antar departemen masih menjadi kendala. Penelitian ini menyarankan penerapan AI-driven data tagging, penguatan keamanan API, serta pelatihan rutin bagi seluruh staf untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan efektivitas kebijakan keamanan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan praktis bagi bank digital dalam mengelola keamanan data, serta memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan kebijakan keamanan data yang lebih baik di sektor perbankan digital Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the performance of a monolith database architecture (a single server for read and write operations) with a distributed database architecture that implements read–write separation using a replication mechanism in MySQL. The focus of the test was how the throughput, latency, and resource utilization (CPU, memory, and I/O) of the two architectures differed when given the same workload scenario, namely heavy read, heavy write, and balanced read write. The results of the study are expected to provide practical recommendations for system developers and managers in choosing a database architecture that is more suitable for applications with high transaction needs, especially in MySQL-based environments that are commonly used in the industry.
