In Islamic education, perennialism philosophy is a tradition that emphasizes the values of eternal and supernatural truths. This school emphasizes the importance of developing students' character through holistic and cyclical application of values. The goal of this development is to form insan kamil, or whole human beings, who possess truth and goodness. Educators have the main role in organizing learning activities and helping students. Second, perennialism theology emphasizes the importance of mental and intellectual exercises to find the real truth. Education must seek ways to acquire consistent and consistent knowledge, so the educational process must be the same and in accordance with the truth. Perennialism argues that the Islamic education curriculum should be centered on eternal truth values and should include material that can shape the student's personality so that it is in accordance with the goals of the educator.
