Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil kajian tentang harmonisasi nilai kosmopolitan dan nasionalisme dalam pembelajaran PKn serta bagaimana kedua gagasan ini bisa menciptakan output pendidikan yang memiliki wawasan global tetapi tidak melupakan keperibadian atau karakter baik yang sudah tertanam sejak awal. Kajian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya masalah berat mengenai kesadaran nasional (national consciousness) generasi muda saat ini yang memerlukan pembenahan secara serius. Di era globalisasi bangsa Indonesia dihadapkan pada dua kekuatan utama yakni kosmopolitanisme yang beriringan dengan globalisasi dan melemahnya nasionalisme dengan ditandai munculnya ide-ide kedaerahan, otonomi luas, separatisme maupun konflik SARA. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka kajian bagaimana proses harmonisasi nilai kosmopolitan dan nasionalisme dalam pembelajaran PKn serta bagaimana kedua gagasan tersebut dapat menjadi jalan bagi terciptanya output pendidikan yang berwawasan global tapi tetap berkarakter lokal. Walau pada kenyataannya secara konseptual terjadi pertentangan antara nilai kosmopolitan dengan nilai nasionalisme, keduanya berada pada kutub yang tarik-menarik, dimana nilai kosmopolitan menarik ke ranah global, sedangkan nilai nasionalime menarik ke ranah eksklusif. Dalam situasi demikian pembelajaran PKn diharapkan mampu menjadi jembatan untuk mengharmonisasikan kedua nilai tersebut. Nilai kosmopolitan dan nasionalisme menjadi faktor yang sangat menentukan dalam mengembangkan wawasan global tetapi tidak menghilangkan karakter lokal ketika dilakukan melalui pembelajaran PKn yang bermutu, berkualitas dan bermakna.

Abstract

Based on the research done, in the acquisition of active learning with the strategy of asking questions as the most appropriate learning model to be used on the Civic subjects in school. The purpose of this model is for students to be able to think and think critically. In this study, the author uses descriptive-critical research with more emphasis on the power of analysis of existing sources and data by relying on existing theories and concepts to be interpreted based on the writings that lead to the discussion. The results showed that students 'confidence, teachers are more open to students, The existence of healthy competition among students in the classroom, Increasing the enthusiasm and seriousness of students, Reducing the knowledge gap between students, The students' learning spirit outside school is increasing, like the whole subjects, The emergence of creative ideas from both students and teachers in order to advance the quality of education in each school, and Increase synergy and cohesiveness between students and inter-teachers. Thus, to realize innovative learning, it can be used because "active learning model with questioning strategy" so that the learning process is not only centered on the teacher, but also the students must be actively involved in the learning process so that learning will become more meaningfull

Abstract

Kota multikultural sangat identik dengan Singkawang. Kondisi ini terlihat data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) tahun 2004 yang mengatkan bahwa 40,38% warganya adalah Etnis Tionghoa, 36,72% Melayu, 7,26% Dayak, 5,69% Madura, dan 15,64% lainnya. Pakta demografi yang beragam ini tentu dapat menjadi awal munculnya kontestasi antar etnis. Kajian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis potensi kontestasi politik di Singkawang. Secara umum analisis yang dilakukan bersifat studi literatur. Tahun 2009 lalu Kota Singkawang melakukan pemilihan Anggota DPRD melalui mekanisme pemilihan umum kepala daerah (pemilukada). Adapun jumlah posisi yang diperebutkan mencapai 30 kursi. Berdasarkan analisis literatur diketahui bahwa 30 anggota DPRD yang terpilih berasal dari suku yang berbeda. Setelah dilakukan pengkajian ternyata 30% adalah Etnis Tionghoa, 27% Melayu, 20% Dayak, 7% Madura, Jawa, dan Batak serta 3% Tambi. Berdasarkan data ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa persentase etnis berkorelasi dengan keterwakilan etnis pada Pemilukada Kota Singkawang.KATA KUNCI: kontestasi, etnis, dan Singkawang  ETHNIC CONTESTATION IN POLITICAL SCOPEABSTRACTMulticultural city is very synonymous with Singkawang. In general, the analysis conducted is literature study. In 2009, Kota Singkawang elected DPRD members through the election mechanism of regional head (Pemilukada). The number of contested positions reached 30 seats. Based on the literature analysis it is known that 30 elected DPRD members are from different tribes. After the assessment, 30% were ethnic Chinese, 27% Malays, 20% Dayak, 7% Madurese, Javanese, and Batak and 3% Tambi. Based on this data, it can be concluded that ethnic percentage correlates with ethnic representation in Pemilukada Kota Singkawang.

Abstract

Gempa bumi adalah getaran bumi yang berdampak destruktif bagi manusia. Oleh karena itu, belajar dari pengalaman yang telah memberikan wawasan yang berguna terhadap masalah-masalah yang disebabkan oleh ancaman gempa bumi. Maka sebuah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengetahuan kegempaan masyarakat yang didasarkan pada kearifan lokal, dilakukan di pulau Lombok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah paradigma kualitatif dengan dua tahapan, yakni tahapan analisis hermeneutik dan fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Lombok dari pengalaman gempa di masa lalu yang dialami oleh nenek moyangnya telah mendapatkan transfer pengetahuan berupa kearifan lokal yang dipelihara secara turun temurun yakni berupa sesengak betegel eleq sabuk belo. Kesimpulannya bahwa masyarakat terdahulu sebenarnya telah memiliki pengetahuan-pengetahuan berupa kearifan lokal yang dijaga dan diwariskan kepada generasi muda dan saluran yang bisa digunakan melalui pendidikan khususnya pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial.

Abstract

Abstrak. Awig-awig pada dasarnya adalah peraturan yang harus di patuhi oleh masyarakat sebagai mana aturan ini disebut sebagai aturan adat dan aturan lokal. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui prinsip-prinsip implementasi Awik-awik sebagai model “ecopedagogy” dalam pendidikn IPS dan plikasi Awik-awik sebagai model “ecopedagogy” ke dalam Pembelajaran IPS. Tulisan ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat untuk menjelaskan (to explain), tentang Penggunaan Awik-Awik Sebagai Model “Ecopedagogy” dalam Pembelajaran IPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui awik-awik sebagai model “ecopedagogy” dalam pembelajaran IPS yang dilaksanakan di sekolah, program lingkungan hidup dapat diimplementasikan dalam kurikulum sekolah. Implementasi program lingkungan hidup dalam kurikulum diharapkan dapat menciptakan perubahan, baik perubahan sikap maupun pengetahuan serta mampu membentuk kepribadian peserta didik untuk menjadi lebih baik. Upaya yang dilakukan sekolah untuk mewujudkan kepedulian peserta didik terhadap lingkungan hidup yakni, sekolah berupaya untuk memasukkan program lingkungan hidup ke dalam kurikulum.

Abstract

Bantul is one of the areas in the special region of Yogyakarta which is rich with traditional art one of them is art gejoglesung. This folk art comes from the sound of pounded alupukulkan regularly on large woods made like a boat called mortar. In general, dimples made of jackfruit wood or munggur. Nowadays gejoglesung art began to be abandoned by its lover because it is unable to compete with modern art. Therefore, we are moved to preserve the art of gejog mortar in order not to become extinct. One way is to hold gejog lesung training on youth youthgunturan, triharjo, pandak, bantul. The method of implementing the training is done through three stages of preparation, implementation, and follow-up. The preparation stage includes socialization, participant data collection, and training design. Implementation phase includes acceptance of participants, practice training, gejog art performances mortar. Theresults ofthis trainingwas able to foster back the sense of brotherhood, togetherness, cooperation, responsibility, nationalism among gejoglesung players themselves. This training was followed not only young men but also children, even parents participate and enliven the arts of the people. Gejoglesung training is a medium to re-preserve Bantul art that is almost extinct eroded by the times.

Abstract

The research departs from the fact that the level of knowledge and skills of students in dealing with the earthquake in Lombok is low. Meanwhile, social science learning in schools does not contribute to the formation of students' knowledge and skills in dealing with earthquakes. In fact, the island of Lombok is an area with a high level of vulnerability to earthquake disasters in Indonesia. Thus, in this study, the main objective is to develop earthquake mitigation media sourced from the Sasak indigenous people themselves and allotment for schools in Lombok. The research method used is a research and development approach. From the research and development process, several results were obtained including: First, the more effective the learning process for teachers and students because they used earthquake mitigation media based on values ​​that existed in the Sasak community themselves; Second, the results of both quantitative and qualitative analysis show that earthquake mitigation media based on the value of the bale beleq architecture are able to improve the school's mitigation capability against earthquake disasters. So with the architectural value-based mitigation media that exists in the Sasak community itself, teachers and students are more effective and efficient in order to improve the ability of earthquake disaster mitigation in schools. Abstract

Vegetable cultivation can be carried out on limited land by applying the concept of hydroponics. Hydroponic farming can be done by anyone, including children with special needs (ABK) who have been underestimated by most of the community. The purpose of this mentoring activity is to provide skills and foster student self-confidence with a sausage or (soft skill for self confidence) model. The mentoring efforts are carried out using the SPP method, namely socialization, training, and mentoring). The partners of this activity are SLB Negeri and SLB-B Dharma Miranti in Singkawang City The results of the assistance in hydroponic vegetable cultivation business in ABK students using the sausage model led to two findings. First, abk students turned out to have the skills to do vegetable cultivation hydroponically. This can be seen from the ability of ABK students to know and use the equipment and equipment needed to grow crops hydroponically. In addition, they also understand the procedure or stages of growing vegetables hydroponically. Second, mentoring activities that involve the roles of various parties, namely STKIP Singkawang, teachers, and the Singkawang City Agriculture and Forestry Service are able to provide stimulus to foster the confidence of abk students in partner schools

Local cultural value if it is not preserved and maintained, it is feared gradually will experience the process of extinction due to the influence of globalization. One of the efforts to preserve it is through the utilization of local culture in the learning process in schools. IPS as a lesson that holds a significant role to develop the culture is expected to be a forum for local culture available. IPS Learning in school is expected to develop a range of capabilities on students, especially the ability to live in the middle of a neighborhood or community where students live. Therefore, teachers are required to have an adequate understanding of the value of local culture, in addition to its ability to understand the subject matter of responsibility.
