Abstract

Rahmah El Yunusiah is a significant figure in the development of Islamic education in Indonesia, particularly in advocating for women's access to education. This article examines Rahmah El Yunusiah's ideas, which emphasize the importance of education rooted in Islamic and moral values, as well as the integration of religious and general knowledge. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the article analyzes Rahmah's contributions to the establishment of Madrasah Diniyah Putri, her impact on women's educational movements, and the relevance of her ideas in addressing modern educational challenges. The findings show that Rahmah's intellectual legacy remains relevant in creating an inclusive and equitable education system, contributing to the empowerment of women in society.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbahasa menulis dianggap sulit karena memerlukan kemampuan untuk mengekspresikan pikiran dan perasaan. Hal ini dipengaruhi teknik pembelajaran konvensional yang berpusat pada guru. Teknik Dictoglos diusulkan sebagai metode pembelajaran yang melibatkan pendengaran teks berita, pencatatan, dan rekonstruksi bersama oleh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan kemampuan menulis teks berita sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan teknik Dictoglos serta efektivitas teknik tersebut pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Kota Serang. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Kota Serang dan sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VII F dan VII J yang ditetapkan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis adalah uji-t yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji persyaratan normalitas, dan homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan signifikan dalam kemampuan menulis teks berita antara kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan teknik Dictoglos dan kelompok kontrol yang tidak menggunakan teknik tersebut. Hasil analisis membuktikan bahwa teknik Dictoglos lebih efektif, dibuktikan melalui uji-t sampel berpasangan antara skor pretest dan posttest kelompok eksperimen, menghasilkan t-hitung sebesar -28,029 (atau nilai absolut 28,029) dan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000, yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Hasil ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan menulis teks berita setelah menggunakan teknik Dictoglos.

Abstract

Humans are social creatures, humans always live in groups to interact and communicate because of their desire to connect with other people and blend in with the surrounding environment. This research focuses on what is the role of humans in forming and maintaining society and culture? and how globalization and modernization affect the relationships between people, society, and culture. This research has two objectives, namely to explain the role of humans in forming and maintaining society and culture and to explain how globalization and modernization affect the relationship between humans, society and culture.  The method in this research uses qualitative methods with observation and interview techniques. The results of this research show that the role of humans in maintaining and forming society and culture is very complex and broad. Starting from forming the values ​​and norms that exist in society so that it becomes a culture that must be maintained and developed in the future. Then the influence of globalization and modernization on human relations, society and culture is very significant.  However, with the positive and negative impacts of the development of globalization and modernization each bringing advantages and disadvantages to human life, therefore, we as humans must be able to balance and sort the two well.
