Abstract

This study aimed to enhance sustainability awareness through eco-friendly creativity by introducing bamboo weaving training to elementary school students at SDN 3 Karangkobar. The training integrated cultural heritage with practical skills, emphasizing environmental conservation. The program involved sixth-grade students in hands-on activities, teaching them to transform bamboo into functional crafts. Findings revealed high enthusiasm from both students and teachers, highlighting the program's potential to foster creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and environmental responsibility. The training also underscored the importance of utilizing local resources and preserving traditional crafts. Despite challenges such as limited materials and facilities, this initiative demonstrated the feasibility of embedding sustainability principles in education. Recommendations include curriculum adjustments to integrate local wisdom-based art education and increased support for creative, environment-focused learning methods.

Abstract

Currently, social media is considered a convenient tool for facilitating product transactions. However, not all marketers possess effective strategies for promoting their products on social media. This study aims to analyze the relationship between promotion and tourists’ purchase intention toward processed carica products in the Dieng Highlands. The research was conducted from February to March 2024, involving 100 respondents and analyzed using simple linear regression. The findings reveal a significant relationship between promotion and tourists’ purchase intention toward processed carica products in the Dieng Highlands. Promotion contributed 30.5% to purchase intention, while the remaining 69.5% was influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. Carica-based MSMEs in the Dieng Highlands optimize their promotion strategies through tourist recommendations and digital marketing. They actively use social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok and market their products through e-commerce platforms like Shopee, Tokopedia, and TikTok Shop. These efforts aim to enhance accessibility, attract consumer interest, and expand market reach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of attractions and accessibility on tourist visitation interest in Sembungan Tourism Village, Wonosobo Regency. Sembungan Tourism Village is the highest village in Java Island with an altitude of 2,300 meters above sea level, featuring tourist attractions such as Sikunir Hill, Cebong Lake, Sikarim Waterfall, and the traditional Gimbal Hair Cutting ceremony. The research employed a quantitative approach with accidental sampling technique involving 100 respondents. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. The results show that attractions positively and significantly influence visitation interest with t-value 3.613 > t-table 1.985 (significance 0.000). Accessibility also has a positive and significant influence with t-value 2.760 > t-table 1.985 (significance 0.007). Simultaneously, attractions and accessibility significantly influence visitation interest with F-value 18.886 > F-table 3.09 (significance 0.000) and a determination coefficient of 0.280. The management of Sembungan Tourism Village needs to improve the quality of attractions and accessibility to increase tourist visitation interest through diversification of attractions and improvement of transportation infrastructure.
