Abstract

Wellness tourism is one of the efforts to revive the Indonesian tourism sector during the transition period of the pandemic to endemic. People seek prevention and health maintenance by traveling to get a better quality of life. Giving rise to wellness tourism as wellness and health tourism in the form of health care based on a healthy natural environment and restoration of relaxation. One of the innovations carried out by PIAT is the development of agro-industry by applying the concept of wellness tourism. Tourist attractions will be more valuable if they can meet the needs of the highest level, namely pleasure. This study aims to: (1) identify the words Kansei of prospective tourists related to wellness tourism. (2) determine the concept model of wellness tourism atmosphere design that suits the pleasure needs of tourists. (3) improve the products and services of the Agrotechnology Innovation Center (PIAT) based on the priority attribute of tourist needs. This research used the Kansei engineering method and the kano model. Semantic Differential (SD) Questionnaire 1 to capture images of wellness attractions. Kansei engineering begins with the collection of tourist pleasure needs in the form of Kansei word, simplifying Kansei word with factor analysis, categorization analysis of Kano models, identification of technical attributes, dissemination of SD 2 questionnaires and questionnaire analysis with quantification theory 1 (QT1) to determine the correlation between tourist attributes and design concepts quantitatively. The results obtained from the first questionnaire, there are nine Kansei words that describe wellness tourism places at PIAT UGM, namely "Worthy-Shady", "Quite Adequate-Good", "Warm-Cool", "Spread-Neat", "Somber-Fun", "Set-Customized", "General-Local Wisdom", "Independent-Existence of Guides", and "Vintage-Latest (Update)". The order of priority of improvement is based on the attraction & one attribute. In addition, this study produced five concepts of wellness tourism service design atmosphere that suit the pleasure needs of tourists, namely: "cool", "local wisdom", "fun", "the presence of a guide", and "good". The results showed that all service design concepts have an R-value of more than 0.8 so all concepts are used in determining service design prototypes.

Abstract

Remu Market in Sorong faces challenges in improving transaction efficiency and easing access for consumers. The preference for fast, secure, and practical payment methods, especially in the midst of a pandemic, highlights the importance of digital payment systems. This study aims to analyze the effect of QR Code-based digital payment systems, with a focus on perceived benefits, convenience, and security, on increasing sales at Remu Market. Descriptive quantitative research method was used, with primary data collection through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents. The results showed that the three perceptions of benefits, convenience, and security have a positive effect on the intention to use QR Code payments. The regression model shows significant contributions from each perception, with ease of use providing the greatest impact. These findings suggest that the implementation of a QR Code-based digital payment system can increase sales and transaction efficiency at Remu Market. The model explains 99.3% of the variation in intention to use, indicating a strong positive relationship between perceptions and intention to use.

Abstract

Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) is a key indicator of quality of life, reflecting achievements in health, education, and a decent standard of living. Significant regional disparities in Indonesia highlight the need to analyze its determinants for effective policy formulation. This study examines the simultaneous influence of socioeconomic factors—poverty rate, GRDP per capita, life expectancy, mean years of schooling, and expenditure per capita—on HDI across 514 regencies/cities using machine learning and Explainable AI (XAI). Secondary data from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) in 2021 were utilized. The target variable (IPM_score) was constructed through feature engineering. Linear Regression, Random Forest, and XGBoost models were trained using an 80:20 split and evaluated with Mean Squared Error (MSE) and R². SHAP was applied to interpret feature contributions. Results show XGBoost achieved the best performance (R² = 0.987), outperforming Random Forest (R² = 0.974), while Linear Regression achieved R² = 1.000 due to perfect linearity. SHAP analysis identified expenditure per capita as the most dominant factor (r = 0.9996), followed by mean years of schooling (r = 0.667), while poverty showed a strong negative effect (r = -0.638). These findings emphasize that purchasing power and education are critical drivers of HDI. The use of XAI enhances model transparency and supports evidence-based policy, particularly in integrating poverty reduction with improvements in education and economic capacity.

Abstract

Pati Regency in Central Java has experienced rapid industrial, commercial, and educational growth, attracting workers, students, and job seekers who require temporary accommodation such as boarding houses. Despite this increasing demand, the process of searching and booking boarding houses remains largely manual, relying on word of mouth, roadside banners, or direct visits, which leads to fragmented information, inaccurate room availability data, and inefficient search processes. This study aims to design and evaluate a web-based boarding house rental information system that addresses information asymmetry and fragmented search processes in local rental markets by providing structured property information and an integrated digital booking workflow. The research employs a system development approach consisting of requirements analysis through interviews and field observation, UML-based system modeling, web-based system implementation, and functional evaluation using black-box testing to verify the reliability of core system functions such as property search, availability display, booking submission, and payment confirmation. The resulting platform integrates structured property listings, multi-criteria search filters, interactive digital maps, and an online reservation mechanism that enables prospective tenants to identify, compare, and book boarding houses without physically visiting the property. Testing results indicate that all functional modules operate according to the specified requirements, supporting accurate property information retrieval and a continuous search-to-booking workflow. Beyond system implementation, the study contributes to research on digital property information systems by demonstrating how integrated information architecture and transaction workflows can reduce information fragmentation and improve transparency in temporary housing rental platforms.
