Abstract

The enjoyable, effective, creative, innovative, and active study is a form of study which accentuates the liveliness of students in a way to improve performance. Style and study method provide huge impact to the achievement of study goals. This research intends to describe the implementation of participatory leadership style, accompanied by the strengthening in improving the study liveliness. It applies the Class Action Survey method to A-Class students of Theology study programs in Institute of National Christian Religion - Manado. The data analysis technique applies Miles and Huberman model (2014), such as data condensation, data display, verification and conclusion. Based on the research in 2 cycles, results yielded are the improvement of study liveliness after the participatory leadership style are applied, accompanied by the strengthening in improving the study liveliness. On the early condition, the liveliness only reaches 20.27. Meanwhile, after being proceeded on cycle 1, there is improvement and reaches 45.45. On this stage, the amount of active students is rising. Improvement is also emerged in cycle 2, and it reaches 77.27% of active students. It shows that the 70% of achievement indicator has been achieved.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis perubahan makna dari kata kerja καταρτίζετε (restore) dalam Galatia 6:1, melalui tiga versi terjemahan Alkitab. Adapun, beberapa versi terjemahan Alkitab yang digunakan sebagai sumber primer dalam penelitian ini ialah Alkitab Terjemahan Baru 2 (TB 2), Alkitab Bahasa Indonesia Masa Kini (BIMK) dan New King James Version (NKJV). Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan semantik dari Stephen Ullmann. Pendekatan tersebut dijadikan kerangka teoretis dalam menelaah perubahan makna total (semantic change shift) dan perubahan konotasi, sebagai isu krusial dalam dinamika penerjemahan. Dari penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan bahwa perubahan atau pergeseran makna dari terjemahan kata kerja καταρτίζετε (restore), sangat mempengaruhi interpretasi makna, bahkan pesan teologis dan etis dari teks. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan semantik Ullmann memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi studi biblika, khususnya dalam menilai keakuratan dan implikasi dari terjemahan Alkitab secara lebih mendalam. Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of language in building social identity in the Tower of Babel narrative (Genesis 11: 1-9) using the analytical framework of Berger and Lucmann's (1966) social construction theory. The focus of this research is the description of human ambition to build a tower that can reach the sky which ultimately causes division and language diversity. Based on the analysis using Berger and Lucmann's social construction theory in Genesis 11: 1-9 shows that language can be a unifying tool, a builder as well as a destroyer and inhibitor of a nation's cultural identity. It can be said that language becomes the main tool in the process of forming cultural identity, both individual and collective. The analysis of the Tower of Babel story highlights the complexities in social and linguistic interactions that shape and reconstruct cultural meaning in the context of social construction theory.

Abstract

The problem that still often occurs in the world of education, especially at the elementary school level, is the lack of interest in learning from students. This is caused by the limitations of learning media. With these constraints, the researcher aims to play a role in increasing students' interest in learning at GMIM Raanan Baru Elementary School through learning media. This study uses qualitative research methods, using observation techniques. This observation technique is carried out by direct observation of the situation in the field. The location of this research was SD GMIM Raanan Baru, West Motoling district. This research is a form of KKN student service during the KKN period from 6 February – 8 March 2023. With the role of students through the service carried out, students at GMIM Raanan Baru Elementary School have an increased interest in learning.
