Abstract

The dominance of culture of feudalism is still inherent inlearning practices in Indonesia. In the context of education, feudalismreflects authoritarian, hierarchical, and centralistic practices in whichteachers or educators are considered a single authority that must berespected without much space for active participation and studentindependence. To respond to this problem, the Indonesian governmenthas launched an initiative known as "Independent Learning". This studyaims to show that the independent learning curriculum can be the answerto the problem of feudalism in learning. This research was conductedusing the literature study method. Literature study was conducted byreviewing books and articles related to the title. The results of this studyindicate that the independent learning curriculum can be an effective toolto promote critical thinking, independence, and equality in education.Thus, the independent learning curriculum can be a strong tool to breakthrough feudalism in learning. By giving freedom to students to regulatetheir own learning, promote critical thinking, independence, andequality, a learning environment can be created more inclusive, dynamic,and responsive to student needs.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent of the relationship between digital humans and PAK (Christian religious education). This research was conducted using the literature study method. The research results show that current and future technological advances are not scary. How humans can survive and adapt to technological advances depends on humans themselves. PAK should be a protector for Christians in the face of advances in digital technology that are ready to prey, but there is no need to make technological advances a scourge that must be shunned. Technological advances should be responded to well and used as a friend in PAK teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to show that philosophy and Christian religious education are relevant in early childhood learning. An innovative collaboration between Christian values, experiential learning, and children's character growth provides a good foundation for holistic development in early childhood. This goal has been pursued by using a qualitative research method of literature study, resulting in an understanding that philosophy and Christian education make a positive contribution to early childhood learning in the form of a solid moral foundation while developing Christian character values that have an impact on the growth of faith in early childhood.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bahwa filsafat dan pendidikan agama Kristen memiliki relevansi yang penting dalam konteks pembelajaran anak usia dini. Kolaborasi yang cerdas antara nilai-nilai Kristen, pembelajaran berdasarkan pengalaman, dan pertumbuhan karakter anak memberikan tempat pijakan yang baik bagi perkembangan secara holistik bagi anak usia dini. Tujuan tersebut telah ditempuh dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif studi kepustakaan, sehingga menghasilkan suatu pemahaman bahwa filsafat  dan pendidikan Kristeni memberikan sumbangan positif dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini, berupa landasan moral yang kuat sambil mengembangkan nilai-nilai karakter Kristen yang berdampak pada pertumbuhan iman anak usia dini.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the history of Christian religious education in Indonesia, especially in the Protestant context, starting from the VOC era to the present, to assess its contribution such as liberating facilities for society, especially students. By examining the historical trajectory of Christian religious education in Indonesia, we can examine and make the necessary adjustments in its current implementation, especially in responding to the challenges of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) era. In order to achieve this goal, the literature method is a bridge that can be crossed using the correct procedures. The article produces an understanding of the importance of liberating Christian religious education after learning from its history in Indonesia. Through this discourse, it is hoped that we can identify and overcome our strengths and weaknesses in preparing students adequately to face the increasingly fierce competition of the contemporary era in the context of Christian religious education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Christian Religious Education learning module that is accessible and effective for children with special needs who are blind. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The analysis stage was carried out to identify the needs and characteristics of blind students as well as the obstacles faced in learning Christian Religious Education. At the design stage, a module design is created that takes into account aspects of accessibility and is appropriate to students' conditions through the use of audio media and other assistive technology. The development process involved the creation and validation of modules by material, design and language experts and was based on recommendations and input from specialist blind education teachers. Implementation is carried out through module trials in special schools that serve blind children. Evaluation is carried out to assess the effectiveness of the module based on feedback from teachers and students, as well as through measuring increases in understanding and skills and achievement of grades. The research results show that the module developed can increase the understanding and participation of blind students in learning Christian Religious Education. This module is also considered practical and easy for teachers to use. Recommendations are given for improving the module and implementing it in special schools, especially for students with visual impairments in order to support inclusive and equitable Christian religious education for all children.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the multimedia utilization and sermon themes on the spirituality of Christian adolescents at GMIM Sentrum Airmadidi. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with purposive sampling. The findings showed that there was an influence of Multimedia Utilization (X1) on Christian Adolescent Spirituality (Y). This is based on the results of the t-test which states that the t-count value is 2,138 ≥ 2,042, while the significance value is 0.040 ≤ 0.05. However, the influence of Multimedia Utilization on Christian Adolescent Spirituality is negative. This can be seen from the regression equation Y = 44.833 + -0.94, meaning that for every 1% increase in the value of the variable, the value of the Christian Adolescent Spirituality variable will decrease by 0.94. Other test results also showed that there was an influence of the Sermon Theme (X2) on the Spirituality of Christian Adolescents (Y). This is evidenced by the results of the t-test which shows that the t-count value is 3.784 ≥ 2.042, while the significance value is 0.001 ≤ 0.05, with the regression equation Y = 44.833 + 0.643 (positive effect). This means that for every 1% increase in the value of the Sermon Theme, the value of the Christian Adolescemt Spirituality will increase by 0.643. Other findings also stated that based on the results of the f-test, it was found that the f-count value was 7.047 ≥ 3.32, while the significance value was 0.003 ≤ 0.05, this shows that the variables of Multimedia Utilization and Sermon Theme together have a positive and significant effect on the variable of Christian Adolescent Spirituality. The magnitude of the influence is 0.320 or 32%. While the remaining 68% was influenced by other factors that were not studied.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk kekerasan yang muncul dalam penerapan budaya Mapalus, sebuah tradisi gotong royong khas Minahasa, serta menganalisis implikasinya bagi pendidikan Kristen pada anak-anak di Jemaat GMIM Sion Pontak. Sebagai tradisi, Mapalus memiliki nilai kebersamaan dan tolong-menolong yang sangat kuat, namun beberapa penerapannya terindikasi melibatkan kekerasan, baik dalam bentuk fisik, verbal, maupun sosial, yang secara langsung atau tidak langsung berdampak pada perkembangan anak. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif berbasis studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekerasan dalam praktik Mapalusmemberi dampak signifikan pada psikologi anak-anak, mempengaruhi persepsi mereka terhadap otoritas dan nilai-nilai sosial. Di tengah komunitas Mapalus, pendidikan Kristen memainkan peran penting dalam memitigasi dampak kekerasan ini melalui kegiatan yang mengajarkan kasih, pengampunan, dan nilai-nilai non-kekerasan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gereja, sebagai wadah pendidikan Kristen, memiliki potensi untuk mengubah pola pikir komunitas dan memperkuat kesadaran akan dampak negatif kekerasan terhadap anak-anak. Gereja diharapkan dapat berperan sebagai fasilitator untuk memperkenalkan pendekatan non-kekerasan dalam mendidik dan membimbing anak-anak agar nilai-nilai kasih dan penghargaan menjadi pondasi utama dalam kehidupan mereka.

Abstract

This study explores technology-based learning management strategies in senior high schools in North Sulawesi Province to address the challenges of 21st-century educational disruption. The primary focus of this research is to identify the planning, implementation, and evaluation steps of learning in the post-digital era, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors during the implementation process. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation from seven public and three private senior high schools. The findings indicate that schools successfully integrating technology possess adequate infrastructure, strong leadership from principals, and continuous training for teachers. Key supporting factors include collaboration with the Department of Education and external stakeholders, while challenges involve limited infrastructure and teachers' digital competencies. This study underscores that integrating technology through the frameworks of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Task-Technology Fit (TTF) can enhance learning quality and prepare students for the post-digital era.   Abstrak Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi strategi manajemen pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di SMA Provinsi Sulawesi Utara dalam menghadapi tantangan disrupsi pendidikan abad ke-21. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi langkah-langkah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran pada era posdigital, serta faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam proses implementasinya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dari tujuh SMA Negeri dan tiga SMA Swasta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah yang berhasil mengintegrasikan teknologi memiliki infrastruktur memadai, dukungan kepala sekolah, serta pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru. Faktor utama yang mendukung adalah kolaborasi dengan Dinas Pendidikan dan pihak eksternal, sementara tantangan meliputi keterbatasan infrastruktur dan kompetensi digital guru. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi teknologi melalui kerangka Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dan Task-Technology Fit (TTF) dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi era posdigital.

Abstract

Abstract: Teachers play an important role in the success of learning, which requires philosophy. However, philosophy is considered unimportant and boring, and is not visible in dealing with educational issues. This study aims to analyze the role of Christian Religious Education teachers from an ontological, epistemological, and axiological perspective to provide a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the nature, sources of knowledge, and values inherent in the role of teachers. The method used in this study is literature research through the process of collection, analysis, and synthesis. The results of this study are that the role of Christian Religious Education teachers ontologically is as the image of God, servants and instruments of God, and a calling in life. Epistemologically, the role of Christian Religious Education teachers is as guides, facilitators, and interpreters. Axiologically, the role of Christian Religious Education teachers is as planters of Christian values, role models, and character builders. Abstrak: Guru memegang peranan penting untuk menyukseskan suatu pembelajaran dalam perjalanannya membutuhkan filsafat. Tetapi filsafat dianggap tidak penting dan membosankan serta tidak terlihatnya dalam menangani masalah pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam perspektif ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi untuk memberikan pemahaman secara menyeluruh dan mendalam mengenai hakikat, sumber pengetahuan, serta nilai yang melekat pada peran guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian literatur melalui proses pengumpulan, analisis, dan sintesis. Hasil penelitian ini adalah peran guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen secara ontologi sebagai imago dei, pelayan dan alat Tuhan, serta panggilan hidup. Secara epistemologis, peran guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen sebagai pembimbing, fasilitator, dan pengarah serta penafsir. Secara aksiologi, peran guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen sebagai penanam nilai-nilai Kristiani, teladan, dan pembentuk karakter.

Abstract

The application of the picture and picture learning model using power point media can improve Christian Religious Education learning outcomes for grade 3 students at GMIM Koha Elementary School, Mandolang Minahasa District. The research was conducted on grade 3 students at SD GMIM Koha consisting of 8 male students and 12 female students with a total of 20 students. This research was carried out from September to October 2023. The method used a classroom action research design with the stages of Planning, Action Implementation, Observation and Reflection. The data was analyzed using the completeness of learning outcomes technique with the formula KB  The results of the research show that the application of the picture and picture learning model using power point media can improve learning outcomes in Christian Religious Education about Creation from cycle I to cycle II for students at GMIM Koha Elementary School, Mandolang District, Minahasa.
