Abstract

This article discusses a concrete legal issue related to drug trafficking in Indonesia, focusing on the challenges of law enforcement and the impact of corruption within the judicial system. Corrupt practices among law enforcement officials hinder the effectiveness of law enforcement and exacerbate drug-related problems. This research reveals that corruption, particularly in the form of bribery, has created an environment conducive to the narcotics trade, resulting in overcrowding in correctional facilities and neglecting rehabilitation for addicts. By analyzing the factors influencing the sustainability of the narcotics business and its impact on society, this article offers recommendations for a more holistic legal approach, including the implementation of restorative justice and more effective alternative sentencing. Through a deeper understanding of the interaction between law and corrupt practices, it is hoped that more effective strategies can be formulated to address the narcotics issue in Indonesia.

Abstract

The movement of cadets needs to be monitored because it is one of the benchmarks of the seriousness of the cadets in every outdoor exercise carried out in the field. It is also an evaluation material in every outdoor exercise carried out in the field. The goal is that the implementation of outdoor exercises carried out in the field can be achieved. Therefore, a tool is needed that can monitor the movement of ATMega 16 microcontroller-based cadets. Therefore, it is necessary to design a cadet movement monitoring tool when carrying out microcontroller-based outdoor training combined with GPS as a marking position and assisted by RF YS 1020 The microcontroller as a sender and receiver of coordinate data position. The goal is that the author can design and make ATMega 16-based cadet movement monitoring tools as well as design and manufacture interfaces on a computer/laptop using the Delphi language. The ATMega 16 microcontroller-based cadet movement monitoring tool uses the EM411 GPS module as a provider of cadet coordinate position data via serial communication. The tool can work well and the interface on a computer/laptop using the Delphi 7 language with additional comport objects to process serial data from the RF YS 1020 and is depicted on Google Map can be operated properly.

Abstract

Gudang munisi adalah tempat untuk penyimpanan dan pemeliharaan munisi. Agar munisi selalu dalam keadaan baik sehingga dapat dipergunakan setiap saat, maka harus dilaksanakan pemekiharaan munisi di dalam gudang secara terus menerus. Pemeliharaan munisi adalah segala usaha, pekerjaan, dan kegiatan pencegahan kerusakan dan memperbaiki kerusakan dipandang dari sudut ekonomi, keselamatan, dan keamanan untuk mewujudkan agar munisi selalu dalam keadaan baik dan siap pakai dalam jangka waktu yang lebih lama.Dalam pemeliharaan munisi suhu dan kelembaban merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan.  Mengingat pentingnya pemeliharaan suhu dan kelembaban maka diperlukan personel untuk memonitor dan mengontrol suhu dan kelembaban setiap saat. Dengan semakin berkembanganya teknologi dan pengetahuan maka tugas dan pekerjaan manusia dapat menjadi mudah termasuk dalam pemeliharaan suhu dan kelembaban gudang munisi. Saat ini pemeliharaan suhu dan kelembaban gudang munisi di Akademi Militer masih menggunakan cara lama. Kurang efektif bila petugas gudang munisi harus setiap saat ke gudang munisi untuk memonitor dan mengontrol gudang munisi. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya teknologi untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan perancangan alat adalah untuk merancang suatu sistem pengontrol suhu dan kelembaban gudang munisi. Dengan menggunakan sensor DHT11 dan mikrokontroler ATMega8 sebagai komponen untuk mengendalikan alat pengontrol suhu dan kelembaban. Perancangan ini nantinya diharapkan dapat di aplikasikan secara nyata dan dapat memberikan suatu alternatif dalam proses pengontrolan suhu dan kelembaban. Sehingga dalam pengontrolan suhu dan kelembaban gudang munisi kedepannya diharapkan dapat dan mampu menjadi lebih cepat efektis dan efisien.  Hasil pengujian sistem pengontrol suhu dan lelembaban berangsung baik ,karena program yang dibuat pada mikrokontroler ATMega 8 dapat bekerja dengan baik sehingga mampu menjalankan rangkaian sistem pengontrol suhu dan kelembaban sesuai dengan yang diinginkan.

Abstract

This research is about analysis physical and mechanical character of Truck Unimog disc brake after heated with 2000C. The purpose is considerate for TNI-AD leader specifically for squad the apply and use to overcome the weakness of disc brake. Weighing 7,5 tons, Unimog mobility is fairly high, this truck with 60000 cc capacity engine can through the field very well as towing cannons truck and have reliable power to through altitude and rugged terrain. Common cause frequent fractures until crooked of disc brake part there at time the truck doing mobility with fast and long through time, and when hit by hard object in the field of Indonesia have many rocky terrain, hills, hard soil structure, as well as weakness material of that disc brake. Therefore at the Unimog truck disc brake it will be tested about microstructure, disc brake material composition and hardness. Be based the result of disc brake, evenly this material having hardness value before heated is about 236, 213 kg/mm2 and after heated is 275, 318 kg/mm2 where more and more result has gotten, and then more and more hardness too that material. And in this test a steel disc brake after heating 2000C has a greater value in comparing pre-heated it is clear that the steel brake disc is resistant to heat and friction. so that the future does not happen again broke or bent the brake disc so that it is not an accident or accident that occurred at the time of mobility and the driver can easily operate these vehicles is that the brake disc can work well then the user not to place excessive heat later also necessary maintenance and routine and periodic maintenance of the braking system, especially on the brake lining and brake disc so as to prevent damage to both the brake disc itself or on the vehicle.

Abstract

This research is about comparing the physical and mechanical properties of motorbike piston made in China (Kanzen) and motorbike pistons made in Japan (Honda GL). The aim is to find out which material structure is better between motorbike piston made in China and motorbike piston made in Japan. Because in field use Japanese motorbike pistons are superior to motorbike piston made in China.The piston is an engine component that changes or transfer combustion pressure into straight motion (sliding) which then, through the piston rod, piston rod and crankshaft, converts the straight motion of the piston into rotary motion. This piston has an aluminum alloy composition with the dominant elements, namely Mn, Zn, Ti, Cr, Pb, and Sn.From the test of the material composition of these two pistons, the material elements are almost the same, but the Honda GL motorbike pistons is better than the Kanzen motorbike pistons, judging from its elements. From the hardness test, it turns out that motorbike pistons made in China (Kanzen) are superior to pistons made in Japan (Honda GL) but that doesn’t mean that hard is good for the piston, then from the micro structure the piston of Japanese motorbikes (Honda GL) are better than Chinese motorbikes (Kanzen) because the crystals spread out so that they can cause cracks in the piston more quickly.

Abstract

The engine capacity of a vehicle, especially a diesel engine, is greatly influenced by the fuel used, in this case the diesel used. What is meant by engine capacity is the performance produced by the engine, including the power produced by the engine, the specific fuel coefficient, and others. Therefore, choosing the right diesel will certainly make the engine able to produce good performance but diesel consumption remains efficient. So an alternative replacement is needed when the diesel runs out, one of which is using biodiesel. Biodiesel is a fuel made from base oil or renewable oil sources that are transesterified lipids into the desired ester by removing fatty acids. So biodiesel is the closest alternative to replacing fossil fuels which are the main source of transportation energy. Based on the test experiments of diesel engine performance using biodiesel and Shell diesel, namely at 2500 rpm, 2300 rpm, 2000 rpm, 1800 rpm, and 1600 rpm, there are differences in engine performance, although not significant, but can still be used as a guideline for choosing the right fuel, especially for vehicles in the Indonesian Army and if later biodiesel is known to the wider community, it can be used as an alternative fuel and can be considered to be used as fuel for diesel vehicles in the Indonesian Army.

Abstract

This study focuses on redesigning the shock absorber suspension system of the Bimantara Nenggala vehicle, which is used as a service vehicle at the Military Academy, to enhance durability on rough road surfaces. The modification was carried out by increasing the diameter of the steel spring wire from 14 mm to 16 mm. The results indicate that this change increased the solid length of the spring from 56 mm to 96 mm, the number of coils from 2.5 to 4.5, and the spring deflection from 39.38 mm to 41.48 mm. This redesign demonstrates that using a 16 mm wire diameter provides better performance compared to the 14 mm wire, with improved durability, deflection, and coil count for optimal suspension efficiency.

Abstract

To support high mobility and varied terrain, vehicles must have optimal engine performance, especially in the clutch system, which is prone to slipping due to clutch lining wear, increasing the risk of accidents. This study analyzes the wear level of Suzuki Katana clutch linings by comparing KW 1 and KW 2 through hardness, wear, and carbon content tests. The results indicate that KW 1 has a hardness of 251.34 kg/mm², higher than KW 2, which is only 67.82 kg/mm². The wear value of KW 1 is 0.003×10⁻⁴ mm³/kg.m, lower than KW 2 at 0.0086×10⁻³ mm³/kg.m. The carbon content in KW 1 reaches 44.0739%, higher than KW 2 at 32.3462%. These findings show that the higher the hardness of the clutch lining, the lower its wear rate, making KW 1 a better choice as it is more durable and resistant to wear.
