Abstract

Pocket books are print media that are small, light, can be stored in a pocket and are practical to carry and read anytime and anywhere. Pocket books can be used as supporting tools or complementary references that are used as a bridge for an educator in carrying out the learning process. This research aims to describe the process of developing a pocket book based on the independent plot at MI Islamiyah Jogoroto. This research uses a qualitative and quantitative approach, with descriptive data analysis. Data collection was carried out through interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The informants in this research consisted of the head of curriculum, head of student affairs, madrasa staff, class v students. Based on the results of the pocket book research, the results were very suitable for use with a percentage of expert validators of 96% and a percentage of student eligibility of 84.9%. With these results, this independent flow-based pocket book teaching material is categorized as very suitable and effective for use as pocket book teaching material for class V students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the types of errors made by students when working on exponent problems. Apart from that, research also analyzes the factors that cause mistakes made by students. Errors in working on questions consist of reading errors, understanding errors, transformation errors, processing errors and errors in writing the final answer. This research uses descriptive qualitative data analysis. Research subjects were determined using purposive sampling techniques. The research results showed that students made errors in understanding, transformation errors, process errors and errors in writing the final answer. The factors that cause this are students being in a hurry to work on questions, students also being unable to continue the process of working on questions because students do not understand the material and students are not careful in working on questions

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of errors, percentages, and factors causing errors made by class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pekalongan in solving statistical problems based on Polya's completion steps. Solving story problems based on Polya's completion steps consists of four stages, namely understanding the problem, making plans, implementing plans, and re-examining the solutions obtained. This research is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The method used is the test method. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pekalongan, totaling 26 students. The results of the research conducted showed that the most frequent mistakes made by class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pekalongan were errors in completing plans with a percentage of 34.62%, then errors in planning plans by 29.92%, errors in re-checking the completion. obtained by 19.23%. , and the fewest errors made by students were errors in understanding the questions with a percentage of 7.69%.
