Abstract

Poverty remains a pervasive issue across various regions in Indonesia, often leading to significant repercussions such as hindering economic growth and exacerbating inflationary pressures within localities. Poverty has emerged as a formidable challenge for the global community, particularly for developing nations, including Indonesia. West Kalimantan is a province in Kalimantan Island with high poverty rates. This research examined the factors influencing poverty within West Kalimantan Province in 2022 using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. This research analyzed the interrelations among poverty, education, economy, and health dimensions. Findings indicated a significant relationship between health and education dimensions. In contrast, the relationships between economic dimensions and poverty, health and the economy, and education and the economy were insignificant.

Abstract

The manufactured coconut classified under HS code 08011100 is available in either shredded or dried form. In 2022, this variety of coconut is projected to account for 8.68% of the export value of manufactured coconuts in Indonesia. While West Kalimantan has not yet achieved the status of the largest coconut exporter in Indonesia, coconut remains the primary commodity in the plantation sub-sector and significantly contributes to the Regional Original Income (PAD) of West Kalimantan Province. West Kalimantan, with a potential coconut plantation area of 94,204 ha and a growing array of processed coconut products, stands poised to enhance the value of its coconut exports. This study seeks to examine prospective market conditions by predicting the export value of coconuts in shredded or dried form, serving as a foundational strategy for enhancing the value of coconut exports. The ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) model is employed to forecast the value of coconut exports (HS 08011100) for the upcoming 4 periods. During the process of identifying the best model, the ARIMA model (2,1,1) was selected, yielding a MAPE value of 26.63%. This indicates that the forecasts for coconut export values (HS 08011100) remain acceptable. The estimated coconut export value serves as a valuable planning reference for stakeholders aiming to enhance future coconut exports.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pada variabel customer orientation, adaptive selling, organizational identification dan job burnout terhadap job performance. Tenaga penjual berperan penting dalam penelitian karena penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengklasifikasikan perilaku penjualan ke dalam bentuk ideal orientasi pelanggan dan penjualan adaptif untuk menguji pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja kerja dan kinerja penjualan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah tenaga penjual yang telah bekerja minimal 1 tahun di perusahaan dengan jumlah sebanyak 240 orang. Metode pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Structural Equation Model (SEM), pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan software SPSS dan Lisrel. Hasil menunjukan bahwa orientasi pelanggan mempengaruhi perilaku penjualan adaptif tenaga penjual, dan perilaku tersebut juga mempengaruhi identifikasi organisasi tenaga penjual dan kinerja kerja mereka. Namun, ditemukan bahwa organizational identification tidak berpengaruh terhadap job performance, serta job burnout tidak berpengaruh terhadap job performance. Hasil ini menunjukan perlunya program dari perusahaan dalam memberikan kesempatan kepada tenaga penjual untuk lebih memahami budaya organisasi yang berorientasi kepada pelanggan serta mengembangkan identitas perusahaan dengan baik.
