Abstract

Kesenjangan keterampilan, kurangnya akses terhadap pendidikan dan pelatihan serta, kesadaran akan tantangan dunia kerja yang masih rendah, dapat menghambat masyarakat Desa Wosu untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan yang layak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan khususnya pada komunitas PKK di Desa Wosu dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian diawali dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan berkelanjutan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kesadaran dan keterampilan peserta. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test, rata-rata nilai peserta meningkat dari 100,21 menjadi 175,87 dari total 200 poin, menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 75,50%. Hasil ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kesiapan peserta dalam menghadapi dunia kerja setelah pelatihan. Artinya, pemberdayaan komunitas melalui program-program yang berfokus pada pendidikan, pelatihan, dan peningkatan kesadaran dapat membantu masyarakat Desa Wosu dalam mempersiapkan diri menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja. Selain itu, strategi yang terintegrasi dengan kemitraan strategis antara pemerintah, akademisi, sektor swasta, komunitas dan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal secara efektif, akan mampu menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Empowering the Wosu Village Community in Morowali Regency: Raising Awareness and Enhancing Skills to Tackle Workforce Challenges Abstract Skills gaps, limited access to education and training, and low awareness of workforce challenges can prevent the people of Wosu Village from securing decent employment. This service activity aims to increase awareness and skills, especially within the PKK community in Wosu Village, to better equip them for the challenges of the job market. The implementation of the service activities follows a participatory and sustainable approach, beginning with preparation, followed by execution, and concluding with evaluation. The results of this program show a significant increase in participants' awareness and skills. Based on pre-test and post-test scores, the average participant score rose from 100.21 to 175.87 out of a possible 200 points, reflecting a 75.50% increase. These results indicate improved understanding and readiness among participants to face job market challenges following the training. This outcome suggests that community empowerment through education, training, and awareness programs can effectively prepare the people of Wosu Village to meet workforce demands. Additionally, an integrated strategy, leveraging partnerships between government, academics, the private sector, and local communities to make effective use of local resources, can foster an environment that supports inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

One of the factors that affect performance is knowledge management and compensation. There needs to be great attention to the management process of knowledge management and compensation. This study aims to analyze the influence of performance influenced by knowledge management and compensation on the Morowali Regency Regional Revenue Management Agency. The number of samples used was 87 people with a quantitative research type. Data collection techniques are literature studies, observations and questionnaires. The analysis technique used multiple linear regression using SPSS software version 26. The results of this study show that simultaneously and partially, the variables of knowledge management and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Morowali Regency Regional Management and Revenue Agency.
