Abstract

The problem in this research is the low economic learning outcomes of students in the learning process. This research aims to determine the improvement in economic learning outcomes on the subject of class XII trading companies at SMA Negeri 1 Siantar for the 2023-2024 academic year by applying a guided inquiry learning approach.This type of research is Classroom Action Research which was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Siantar. The research subjects were classes XII IPS 1 and XII IPS 2, totaling 59 people. The data collection technique in the research was a test to see student learning outcomes during the learning process. Data analysis techniques are carried out in several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The learning outcomes of students in class and ???????????????????????? with N 69 of 1.995. Where ????ℎ???????????????????? ˃ ???????????????????????? then Ha is accepted. And the significant value of probability ˃ 0.05 with the Ha criterion is accepted, then hypothesis testing using both approaches obtains an acceptable Ha result.It can be concluded that by implementing a guided inquiry learning approach you can improve economic learning outcomes on the subject of trading companies in class XII of SMA Negeri 1 Siantar for the 2023 - 2024 academic year.

Abstract

The study aims to determine The Efect of Promotion And Service Quality On Arofan Beach Tourist Interest In Tigaras Village. This research uses quantitative research and survey methods. The population in this study were visitors to arofan beach in Tigaras village with a sample size of 100 respondents obtained based on Non Probability sampling with technique Accidential Sampling. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and documentation. The research quesitionnaire as tasted using validity and reability tests. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test and hypothesis testing.The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence between promotion and interest in tourist visits, there is a positive effect of service quality on visiting interest, there is an influence of promotion and service quality on visiting interest

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku negatif (menyimpang) siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IX pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 14 Pematangsiantar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX yang berjumlah 80 orang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 80 orang dengan mengambil seluruh populasi siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 14 Pematangsiantar dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perilaku negatif siswa berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung sebesar 26,213 yang lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 1,990 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah ???? = 24,410 + 0,693????, yang berarti semakin rendah perilaku negatif siswa, maka semakin tinggi hasil belajar yang diperoleh. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku negatif (menyimpang) siswa memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 14 Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

Differentiated instruction is designed to align with students’ cognitive readiness, affective conditions, and instructional relevance, thereby enhancing their learning focus. This study employs a fieldwork approach at SMA Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar to examine how teacher strategies contribute to strengthening students’ concentration. Primary data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of instructional materials; these were further enriched by teacher journal entries, students’ assessment reflections, and recorded classroom activities. The findings indicate that initial assessments enable teachers to accurately adjust task difficulty; ice-breaking activities reduce emotional tension and restore mental readiness; explicit learning objectives sharpen selective attention; and varied instructional media create a cognitive rhythm that prevents fatigue. Together, these four components operate synergistically to construct a stable architecture of attention, resulting in improved student concentration in terms of duration, depth of engagement, and consistency throughout the learning process. This article affirms that differentiated instruction, when implemented systematically, yields not only short-term improvements in student focus but also fosters more enduring attentional dispositions.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low economic learning outcomes of students in the learning process. This study aims to determine the improvement of economic learning outcomes on the subject of monetary economic policy and fiscal economic policy of class Xl SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar Learning Year 2023-2024 by applying a jigsaw type cooperative learning approach.This type of research is Classroom Action with quantitative methods Pretest and Post-test. The population of this study was class XI SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar which amounted to 175 people. Based on purposive sampling technique, the researcher took the research sample is 2 classes, namely class XI IPS 1 (experimental class) and class XI IPS 2 (control class) which amounted to 71 people. Data collection techniques in the study using pretest without applying the jigsaw type cooperative learning model and posttest by applying the jigsaw type cooperative learning model to the experimental class. The results of the average value of the pretest namely class XI IPS 1 66.29 and XI IPS 2 44.72. Then the results of the average value of the post-test is XI IPS 1 79.14 and XI IPS 2 70.27. Based on the results of data analysis and hypotheses tested, that the jigsaw type cooperative learning model affects student learning outcomes.Based on the statistical hypothesis test with paired samples test, the significance value is 0.000 <0.05 in the sense that the calculated statistical results (t output number) < table statistics (t table) it is concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning model affects the learning outcomes of students in class Xl SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much influence financial literacy and lifestyle have on the financial management of Economic Education Study Program students at HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University.This research is of quantitative type. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with 75 respondents. Collection technique using a questionnaire. Instrument testing uses normality tests and reliability tests. The data analysis technique uses classical assumption tests, namely normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test, and hypothesis testing, namely multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, f-test, and coefficient of determination.Data from research results and partial test data management (t-test) show that the variable The variable Management of simultaneous test data (f-test) shows that F count is 17.772 > F table is 3.12, so it can be concluded that financial literacy and lifestyle have a positive and significant effect on student financial management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of the Numbered Heads Together Cooperative Learning Model on Student Learning Scores in the Economics Subject of Class XI of Tamansiswa Private High School Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The type of research used in this study is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design through a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population consisted of all students of class XI Merdeka of Tamansiswa Private High School Pematangsiantar with a total of 102 students. The sample used in this study consisted of 2 classes, namely class XI Merdeka 7 as the control class and class XI Merdeka 8 as the experimental class with a total of 69 students. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the learning scores of students who do not use conventional methods obtain an average score of 79.892. While the learning scores of students who use the Numbered Heads Together cooperative model obtain an average score of 93.125. The t-test results also support this research, where the t-count value is 6.682 and the t-table value is 1.996, where the t-count > t-table with a significance level of 0.05. Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This proves that there is a significant influence of the Numbered Heads Together cooperative learning model on student learning scores in the Economics subject of class XI at Tamansiswa Private High School, Pematangsiantar.
