Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the snowball throwing cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in social studies class VII at Teladan Private Middle School Pematang Siantar T.A 2022/2023. The study used a quasi-experimental method (quasi-experimental) with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This design consists of two stages, namely pretest and posttest. The sample in the study in class VII was 22 students and VII-2 was 22 students. The research instrument used was the learning achievement test. From the results of the analysis carried out in the experimental class with an average pretest score of 49.95 and a posttest of 70.68. While in the control class with an average pretest score of 50.23 and a posttest average score of 52.73. The results of testing the hypothesis using an independent sample t-test obtained tcount 4.941 > ttable 1.684 and a significance of 0.000 <0.005 so that it can be concluded that student learning outcomes are taught using the snowball throwing cooperative learning model which is influential and well used in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to gain knowledge regarding the influence of study habits and peer environment on learning outcomes in Class XI Economics subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. This research is of a quantitative type with the testing media used is SPSS 24. The sampling technique used a saturated sample of 106 students. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. Instrument testing uses normality tests and reliability tests. The data analysis technique uses classical assumption tests, namely normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and hypothesis testing, namely multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, f-test, and coefficient of determination.Data from research and management of partial test data (t-test) shows that the variable The variable Management of simultaneous test data (f-test) shows that F_count is 23.090 > F_table is 3.08, so it can be concluded that learning discipline and learning motivation have a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low economic learning outcomes of students in the learning process. This research aims to determine the improvement in economic learning outcomes on the subject of class XII trading companies at SMA Negeri 1 Siantar for the 2023-2024 academic year by applying a guided inquiry learning approach.This type of research is Classroom Action Research which was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Siantar. The research subjects were classes XII IPS 1 and XII IPS 2, totaling 59 people. The data collection technique in the research was a test to see student learning outcomes during the learning process. Data analysis techniques are carried out in several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The learning outcomes of students in class and ???????????????????????? with N 69 of 1.995. Where ????ℎ???????????????????? ˃ ???????????????????????? then Ha is accepted. And the significant value of probability ˃ 0.05 with the Ha criterion is accepted, then hypothesis testing using both approaches obtains an acceptable Ha result.It can be concluded that by implementing a guided inquiry learning approach you can improve economic learning outcomes on the subject of trading companies in class XII of SMA Negeri 1 Siantar for the 2023 - 2024 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain knowledge about the influence of parental income and social style on financial behavior of students of the economic education study program, HKBP Nommensen Pematang Siantar University This type of research is a quantitative research with a quantitative descriptive data analysis approach with the testing medium used is SPSS 22. The total population in this study was 267 people, and the sample used was 160 people The sample collection technique used was simple random sampling. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire (questionnaire). The hypothesis data collection technique uses multiple regression analysis and determination coefficient (R2). obtained a = 17.510, b1 = 0.494, b2 = 0.272 and e = 3.371. Contribution can be determined by squaring the simple influence "R" which can be formulated as follows: 100. r2 % Contribution between parents' income to students' financial behaviour Data r = 0.593, then r2 = 0.3516. Thus, the influence of parents' income on students' financial behavior is expressed in the form of percentages as follows: 100. r2 % = 35.16%. The contribution between social styles to students' financial behavior was obtained with data r = 0.509, then r2 = 0.2591. Thus, the influence of social style on students' financial behavior is expressed in the form of percentages as follows: 100. r2 % = 25.91%. The contribution between parents' income and social style to students' financial behavior was obtained data r = 0.593, then r2 = 0.3516. Thus, the influence of parents' income and social style on students' financial behavior is expressed in the form of percentages as follows: 100. r2 % = 35.16%.

Abstract

The purpose of community service aims to determine the effect of using the problem solving model on student achievement in sub-theme 1 class III at SD Negeri 122332 Pematangsiantar. This research uses quantitative research, quantitative research is a process of finding knowledge that uses data in the form of numbers as a tool to analyze information about what you want to know. The experimental unit in this study consisted of 1 class, namely students in class 3C, totaling 25 students at SD Negeri 122332 Pematang Siantar, Pematang Siantar T.A 2022/2023. The test questions will be carried out in class 3C in the same school with a total of 25 students. The results of the data analysis above show that the hypothesis in this study is accepted. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on student learning outcomes in Social Sciences (IPS) subjects in class VIII of Tamansiswa Private Junior High School Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This type of research is a quantitative experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class using the CIRC learning model and the control class using the lecture method. The data collection technique used learning outcome tests in the form of pretests and posttests. Data analysis was carried out through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests using the SPSS 26 application. The results showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of the CIRC learning model. The average pretest score of the experimental class was 48.41, increasing to 72.76 in the posttest, while the control class increased from 44.55 to 68.00. Based on the results of the t-test, a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, which means that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low social studies learning outcomes of students in the learning process. This research aims to determine the influence of learning motivation and learning facilities on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects for class VIII at Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar Adult Park (SMP).The variables in this research are learning motivation and learning facilities as independent variables and learning outcomes as the dependent variable. This type of research is quantitative research, with the research population being Class VIII students at Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar Adult School (SMP) consisting of 76 students using nonprobability sampling (saturated sample). The data collection technique uses instruments: (1) Learning Motivation questionnaire, (2) Learning Facilities questionnaire and, (3) Learning Results in the form of mid-semester exam scores.The results of this research show that: (1) There is a negative and significant influence between learning motivation variables on learning outcomes. This result can be seen in the t test where the tcount value of learning motivation shows tcount < ttable, namely -3.866 < 1.669. (2) There is a positive and significant influence between the learning facility variables on learning outcomes, this result is in the t test where the tcount value of learning facilities shows tcount > ttable, namely 3,622 > 1,699.(3) There is a significant influence of learning motivation and learning facilities on learning outcomes. This result can be seen in the F test where the F value is 13,668 > F table 3.12. So based on the calculation results above, it can be concluded that the research results reject the null hypothesis (H03) and accept the alternative hypothesis (Ha3). Thus, together learning motivation and learning facilities influence the learning outcomes of class VIII students in social studies subjects at Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar Adult Park (SMP) can be accepted.The R Square coefficient of determination test was found to be 0.272, equal to 27.2% of the learning motivation variables and learning facilities influencing student learning outcomes at Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar Adult Park (SMP) and the remaining 73% was the influence of other variables not examined in this research. Abstract

The problem in this research is the low PKK learning outcomes of students in the learning process. This research aims to determine the influence of teacher teaching skills and student learning readiness on student learning outcomes in class XI PKK subjects at SMK GKPI 1 Pematangsiantar The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a research design using a survey design. The population in this study was all students in class XI of SMK GKPI 1 Pematangsiantar. The type of research used in this research was quantitative research with a research design using a survey design. The population in this study was all 171 class XI students at SMK GKPI 1 Pematangsiantar. The sample in this study was 120 students. The sampling technique uses the Random Sample sampling technique. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using normality test, linearity test, multicollinearism test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination test.The research results show that there is an influence of Teacher Teaching Skills on student learning outcomes with tcount (3.813) > table value (1.658). Furthermore, there is an influence of Student Learning Readiness on learning outcomes with tcount (1.792) > ttable value (1.658). And there is an influence of Teacher Teaching Skills and Learning Readiness on learning outcomes with Fcount (6.154) > Ftable value (2.68)

Abstract

discipline and teacher teaching variations on learning outcomes in social studies subjects for grade IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Tapian Dolok.This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with a study population of 112 grade IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Tapian Dolok, and the sample used is all students who are part of the population. The sampling technique used is Non sampling The sampling technique used is non-sampling. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and questionnaires (questionnaires). The hypothesis data collection technique uses multiple regression analysis, a partial test (t), a simultaneous test (f), and a coefficient of determination (R2).The results stated that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence of learning discipline on student learning outcomes, as seen from the t test, where the calculated value of learning discipline (4.596) > the ttable value (1.981). 2) There is a positive influence of teacher teaching variation on student learning outcomes: This result is seen in the t test, where the calculated value of teacher teaching variation (2.508) > ttable, (1.981), which means that the variable has an effect. 3) Learning discipline and teacher teaching variations together affect learning outcomes, these results can be seen in the F test, where the Fcalculate value (67.432) > the Ftable value (3.08). The R squared coefficient of determination test is known to be 0.553, which means 55.3% of learning discipline variables and teacher teaching variations affect learning outcomes in social studies subjects of grade IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Tapian Dolok. While 44.7% is the influence of other variables that were not studied in this study.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning discipline and teaching variations of teachers have a significant effect on the learning outcomes in social studies subjects of grade IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Tapian Dolok.

Abstract

This research focuses on the use of the NHT learning model on the learning outcomes of grade X students in Economics subjects. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to determine the improvement of learning outcomes in students by applying the NHT cooperative learning model and comparing the effect of learning outcomes using the NHT cooperative learning model with the learning outcomes of students using lecture learning.The research method used was a quasi-experimental design method using descriptive statistics. The data collection method was carried out using one experimental group and one control group, the experimental group was given a pre-test and treatment with learning using the NHT model, after which a post-test was given. Then with a different class, the control group was given a pre-test and treatment with learning using the lecture method, after which a post-test was given. The participants in this study were two classes, including the experimental class in class X1 and the control class in class X3.The results showed that there was an effect of student learning outcomes, on the learning model used in the teaching and learning process can be seen in the learning outcomes of students who used the NHT model, had a completeness value of 75.5 and in the control class that used the lecture method of 60.4.
