Abstract

This study aims to identify the potential challenges faced by Puhu Village, Payangan District, and Gianyar Regency in efforts to develop a tourism-based economy and empower MSMEs in the local village. Puhu Village is one of the villages in Bali that has abundant natural and cultural wealth, but has yet to be fully utilized. This study uses a qualitative approach with field observation methods, in-depth interviews, and secondary data analysis to collect relevant information. The study results indicate that Puhu Village has great potential in developing nature-based tourism sectors, such as agrotourism and ecotourism, supported by natural beauty, local wisdom, and local traditions. However, several challenges must be overcome, including a lack of supporting infrastructure, minimal promotion, and low community participation in tourism activities. This study recommends improving infrastructure, training for local communities, and more effective MSME promotion strategies to support economic development in Puhu Village. With proper management, the potential of this village can be developed sustainably and provide economic benefits to the local community without ignoring aspects of environmental and cultural preservation.

Abstract

Belanga Village, located in Kintamani District, Bangli Regency, Bali, is known for its stunning natural beauty, especially Mount Batur and Lake Batur. This village features characteristics such as quality orange and coffee farming, the serene Petirtan Melunjung waterfall, and close access to the Kintamani centre for tourists. In Belanga Village is the Petirtan Melunjung Waterfall, a captivating place with a tranquil atmosphere and deep Balinese spiritual and cultural essence. Despite facing challenges like inadequate infrastructure and suboptimal marketing, lecturers and KKN students from Warmadewa University are working to provide training and assistance to the local tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis) on digital marketing and content creation in the form of videos and photos. This training will likely increase tourist visits, both domestic and international, to the Petirtan Melunjung waterfall and optimize the village's tourism potential. This can also serve as a natural tourist attraction to enjoy the beauty of Belanga Village, Kintamani.

Abstract

The Regular PMM KKN Program Period II in Bukian Village, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency, Bali, is a form of implementation of the tridharma of higher education through community service based on village potential and problems. Activities carried out by Warmadewa University students include strengthening community capacity in the fields of health (optimization of intergenerational posyandu, integrated health checks, stunting prevention), education (children's financial literacy, bullying prevention, local culture-based pasraman kilat), economy (empowerment of MSMEs through promotional media, development of the Magenda Park tourist village), and environment (making trash sepit, managing organic waste into compost and community service in Magenda Park). Each program is designed in line with the SDGs targets, is promotive and preventive oriented, and is implemented with a participatory approach through the involvement of village officials, posyandu cadres, schools, and the local community. The results of the activities show an increase in collective awareness in health management, strengthening cultural identity, economic literacy, and community participation in protecting the environment. These findings indicate that the success of the KKN program lies not only in the achievement of short-term activities, but also in strengthening the capacity of the community to transform towards independent, competitive, and sustainable village development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of price fairness as a mediating variable in the relationship between product quality, service quality, and repurchase intention among Honda car customers in Bali. The intense competition in the automotive industry in Bali requires companies to focus not only on product and service quality but also on effective pricing strategies to retain customers. Despite its importance, research on the role of price fairness as a mediator in this context is still limited. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method distributed to 160 respondents who are Honda car customers in Bali, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results show that product quality does not have a significant direct effect on repurchase intention, and service quality has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. Furthermore, the findings confirm that price fairness significantly mediates the relationship between product quality and repurchase intention, as well as the relationship between service quality and repurchase intention. The output of this research is expected to provide strategic recommendations for Honda dealers in increasing customer retention through a better understanding of the role of price fairness.
