Abstract

This community service program aims to increase the motivation of novice athletes to achieve in the SH Terate Ranting Saradan organization, Madiun Regency. Program implementation uses various methods, such as observation, training, lectures, demonstrations, and consultations. Initial observations were conducted to identify participants' needs and challenges, especially in understanding the importance of achievement motivation and physical and mental readiness. The training is designed systematically, combining theoretical understanding through lectures and direct practice through demonstrations and individual consultation sessions. The program results show a significant increase in participants' abilities, especially in understanding achievement and competitive readiness. As proven through practical evaluations, as many as 80% of participants showed improved performance after participating in this program. Apart from that, this program also strengthens the values ​​of sportsmanship and appreciation for pencak silat as the nation's cultural heritage. With a structured and participation-based approach, this program is hoped to become a model for pencak silat training for other branches. Not only does this program equip participants with sports skills, but it also contributes to preserving pencak silat as part of Indonesia's cultural identity.

Abstract

This research examines the use of clickbait headlines on the Tribunnews news portal. .com. The problem that is the focus of this research is the use of clickbait headlines on the Tribunnews.com news portal. The method used in this research is a qualitative method descriptive research type. This study uses the Tribunnews.com object. This research uses social responsibility theory, and differentiation strategies. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using data collection techniques, namely observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the analysis technique used is reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the discussion show that the public is still aware that the clickbait carried out by Tribunnews.com can bring disappointment after reading it and a sense of dissatisfaction arises. However, many people also end up clicking again on the news headline of Tribunnews.com and visiting the website because they are tempted by booming news headlines. This evidence is strengthened, although many people feel dissatisfied, Tribunnews.com is one of the major online media in Indonesia that is able to rank 3 in Indonesia. That is because Tribunnews.com has a differentiation strategy that is clickbait in increasing viewers in the midst of competition for many online media today. As a sense of social responsibility, Tribunnews.com invites netizens who feel cheated by the news to provide comments containing suggestions for building Tribunnews.com so that in the future it will be better in broadcasting news.

Abstract

The activities of internet users in Indonesia are dominated by Generation Z, namely the generation born in 1997 to 2010. Generation Z uses YouTube as an entertainment medium as well as to add insights and knowledge that are not found in knowledge books about something they are interested in. Jerome Polin is one of the young YouTubers who is active in providing educational-themed content among the younger generation such as how to learn Japanese, college life in Japan battles general knowledge, tips and tricks to learn math formulas, etc. This study was conducted to measure how much influence Nihongo Manttapu's YouTube channel content has on the career choice of generation Z with the variables between the socioeconomic level of parents and the frequency of watching content. This research uses new media theory, source credibility theory, media dependency and social learning theory. The approach used in this research is quantitative, with a survey method using an e-questionnaire distributed to 130 students who are the research sampling, which is then carried out by a simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that YouTube Channel Content has a significant positive effect on Generation Z's Career Selection, where the expertise, trust and attractiveness of communicators is one of the important factors why Generation Z watches Nihongo Manttapu's YouTube Channel content in addition to informative and entertaining content. The majority of students claim to access Jerome's YouTube channel content because they have the same interests, after watching Jerome's content students are motivated to further develop their interests in any field, they have dreams or careers according to their interests and always feel happy after watching Nihongo Manttapu's content.

Abstract

This study examines the role of public communication in overcoming the constraints of fear of rejection as a speaker (a study on public speakers). The problem that becomes the focus of this research is the role of public communication to overcome the constraints of fear of rejection as a speaker. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with descriptive research type. This study used two informant subjects, namely Meyrinda Tobing and Riani. This research uses the communicator theory, dramaturgy theory and public speaking theory. Data collection techniques in this study were direct observation, in-depth interviews, literature review and document analysis. While the analysis technique used is the technique of checking the validity of the triangulation data. The results showed that the role of public communication in overcoming the constraints of fear of rejection as a speaker based on the communicator theory is very influential because the ability in communicators who have public speaking knowledge greatly affects the course of an event. In dramaturgy theory, a public speaker is very influential in playing his role on the stage, by having a strategy including creating personal branding. Whereas in the theory of public speaking, the role of a public speaker in overcoming the constraints of fear of rejection must be overcome by mastering the basic science of public communication, having a communication strategy and preparing mentally. Someone who experiences fear of public speaking is triggered because of the factor that he has failed when speaking in public. , mentally that is not built in a person will trigger a sense of fear of rejection to continue to grow. The role of public communication can increase self-confidence, this can increase confidence in one's own abilities so that they are able to face everything calmly, and avoid feeling nervous or worried when communicating in public

Abstract

Meningkatnya limbah cair dari sektor industri dan rumah tangga telah meningkatkan permintaan air bersih dan memperlambat pemulihan lingkungan. Berdasarkan Laporan Kinerja Direktorat Pengendalian Pencemaran Air 2023, pencemaran akibat limbah cair masih tinggi, dan upaya pemerintah belum mencapai target yang diharapkan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan alat seperti IPAL (Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah) untuk mengolah limbah cair menjadi air bersih sebelum dibuang ke lingkungan. IPAL merupakan produk dengan bentuk dan nilai tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari peran partisipan dari unsur komunikasi pemasaran untuk meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan terhadap produk IPAL oleh CV. Muji Perkasa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggambarkan situasi tanpa menguji hipotesis atau membuat prediksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori bauran komunikasi pemasaran 7P untuk menjelaskan diferensiasi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diferensiasi komunikasi pemasaran pada produk IPAL perusahan produsen ini salah satunya terletak pada partisipan. Dalam unsur partisipan ini Dikertur Utama perusahaan produsen IPAL ini melatih tim teknisi sendiri untuk memberikan pelayanan terbaik kepada konsumen. Supaya konsumen mendapatkan layanan yang maksimal dan meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan.

Abstract

Hilirisasi nikel merupakan program pemerintah untuk mempercepat transisi energi dari kendaraan berbahan bakar fosil ke kendaraan listrik. Artikel ini membahas bagaimana kebijakan pemerintah memiliki dampak bagi masyarakat yakni dampak negatif bagi masyarakat yang hidup di sekitar kawasan industri nikel. Artikel ini juga menganalisis persepsi masyarakat yang terkena dampak industri nikel di wilayah tertentu melalui film dokumenter Bloody Nickel: Ilusi Transisi Energi. Pendekatan yang digunakan didasarkan pada teori analisis wacana kritis Norman Fairclough untuk memahami bagaimana penggambaran industri nikel dalam film mempengaruhi persepsi dan pengalaman masyarakat di sekitar kawasan industri nikel. Menggunakan metode analisis isi sebagai teknik menganalisis isi sebuah film dengan fokus pada narasi visual dan pesan yang disampaikan kepada penonton. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa film tersebut tidak hanya menggambarkan dampak fisik industri nikel, namun juga mengeksplorasi dampak sosial, ekonomi, budaya dan lingkungan yang dihadapi masyarakat lokal. Implikasi dari temuan ini dapat menjadi dasar untuk memperbaiki kebijakan industri dan meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap permasalahan lingkungan dan sosial yang terkait dengan aktivitas pertambangan, seperti industri nikel

Abstract

Freedom of speech is one of the most protected human rights. However, in the process it turned out that there were still violations of freedom of expression, especially during the New Order government. Many activists and artists were born who opposed the authoritarian attitude of the New Order through their works. After the fall of the New Order, the Reformation returned to Indonesia's right to freedom of speech. After several years, there have been threats regarding violations of the right to freedom of expression with the emergence of the "rubber" article in the 2008 ITE Law. One of the most recent cases regarding this article is the defamation of Luhut Binsar Panjaitan. Jason Ranti, an artist who is also an activist, is challenging this regulation through his work entitled "Anggurman". Therefore it is appropriate to do research on the defamation case of Luhut Binsar Panjaitan from the perspective of the semiotics of the song "Anggurman". The research method used in this journal is qualitative with analysis Michael Riffaterre's semiotic approach. The result of this research is that this song can really describe the case above because the storyline of this song is the same as this case of defamation.

Abstract

This study discusses the phenomenon of the "cewek mamba" trend that emerged and spread through the Instagram social media platform. This trend associates women's fashion choices with the color black as an identity and a captivating style. Through in-depth interviews with informants, this research explores how women following the "cewek mamba" trend establish relationships and coexist with others through the Instagram social media platform. Informants choose the color black for its comfort, neutrality, and resulting elegant impression. The use of black color inspires others around them, creating a new identity recognized by many. The "cewek mamba" trend has an impact on self-perception and social interactions of the informants. They receive both positive and negative comments regarding their fashion style, but remain unaffected by the negative remarks and maintain confidence in their clothing choices. Wearing the "cewek mamba" outfit is done when engaging in activities outside the home and is shared on the Instagram social media platform to enhance self-existence and attract attention. Through these black garments, the informants acquire a distinctive feature that aids their recognition on social media platforms, especially on Instagram. The results of this research depict how fashion trends can influence social interactions and individual identities in the virtual realm.
