Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of sewing results of women's plus-size pantaloon, using the pattern-on-fabric technique at Rencong Tailor in Binjai. This study consists of one variable, and the researchers employed a descriptive research method. The population of this study included plus-size women with a waist circumference of 100-105 cm and a hip circumference of 120-125 cm. The objects used in this study were 5 pairs of plus-size pantaloon that were sewn using the pattern-on-fabric technique at Rencong Tailor in Binjai. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets with the help of 5 observers, consisting of 3 lecturers in Fashion Design and Clothing and 2 experts in pantaloon making. Based on the calculation results from the observation assessments, the researchers found that the sewing results of plus-size short pants using the pattern-on-fabric technique obtained the highest score of 98 and the lowest score of 89. The average value (Mean) was 94.2, and the standard deviation was 69.06 for each indicator.

Abstract

The research aims to develop video media based on local wisdom to introduce cultural literacy to early childhood at Idhata Kindergarten. The problem encountered is that educators only use image media during learning activities. The method used is research and development (R&D) ADDIE model consisting of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection includes questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique uses quantitative data analysis and qualitative data. The results obtained in this study show the average value in conducting the trial, namely that the small group obtained a score of 3.48 and the large group obtained a score of 3.68 with good criteria. Based on the explanation, it can be concluded that the development of video media based on local wisdom can be used to introduce cultural literacy to early childhood children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Mutu pelayanan rumah sakit dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan komunikasi tenaga kesehatan, khususnya di unit rawat jalan. Komunikasi yang tidak efektif dapat menimbulkan keluhan dan menurunkan kepuasan pasien. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan komunikasi efektif karyawan dengan mutu pelayanan di Unit Rawat Jalan Penyakit Dalam RSU Madina Bukittinggi tahun 2025. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelatif, melibatkan 81 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik accidental sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner ,analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat dengan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 81 responden, 41 menilai komunikasi efektif karyawan baik dan 40 menilai kurang baik; untuk mutu pelayanan, 41 responden menilai baik dan 40 menilai kurang baik. Uji Chi-Square memperoleh p = 0,032 (p < 0,05), menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara komunikasi efektif dengan mutu pelayanan. Kesimpulan: (1) Komunikasi efektif karyawan sebagian dinilai baik namun masih ada yang menilai kurang baik. (2) Mutu pelayanan sebagian besar baik namun belum optimal. (3) Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara komunikasi efektif karyawan dengan mutu pelayanan. Saran: Rumah sakit perlu meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal, memperkuat evaluasi mutu, dan memperbaiki sarana pendukung pelayanan.
