Abstract

Bengkulu is one of the provinces in Indonesia, precisely located in the western part of Indonesia, namely on the island of Sumatra. Bengkulu has a wide variety of beautiful flowers, including orchids which are unique to Bengkulu. Bengkulu orchids are included as rare and endangered flowers, and the lack of public knowledge of the shape and characteristics of these flowers makes the author decide to create a system that can identify the type of orchid. In classifying the image texture, it can be done using the template matching method. The template matching method is a simple method used to identify patterns in an image. The template matching method is often used to identify character images of letters, numbers, fingerprints and other matching applications. In this study, we propose the use of a template matching algorithm to classify orchid images based on species and family. The test results use 30 test image data. The minimum correlation value with the correct label on the orchid image is 0.7967 and the classification image is 0.7899. From the experimental results it can be concluded that the template matching algorithm is quite good in orchid image classification as evidenced by a test accuracy of 76 percent.

Abstract

This research aims to group (clustering) fish catches using the k-means and farthest first algorithms. Therefore, this research can help provide information about what types of fish are superior, what types of fish produce the most and the least fish production, to make it easier for fishermen to prepare for the next fishing catch. Data taken from the Muara Enim district fisheries service. The Muara Enim district fisheries service has a fisheries service program, one of which is the capture fisheries development program where research is carried out on the type of fish production produced. As for the distribution of capture fisheries, the types of water areas are rivers, swamps and lakes. The cluster results from the k-means algorithm are C0 consisting of jelawat, sepat siam and lele, C1 consisting of baung putih, lais and betok, while C2 consists of mujair, toman, patin, seluang and gabus. Meanwhile, the farthest first algorithm C0 consists of mujair, toman, patin, seluang, gabus, and lele, C1 consists of jelawat and sepat siam, C2 consists of baung putih, lais, and betok. The results of production based on the number of production from the k-means method are that the highest production consists of jelawat, sepat siam and lele, medium consists of baung putih, lais and betok, and low consists of mujair, toman, patin, seluang and gabus, while the highest production farthest first algorithm consists of mujair, toman, patin, seluang, gabus, and lele, medium consists of jelawat and sepat siam, low consists of baung putih, lais, and betok. With an execution time for the k-means algorithm of 0.01 seconds and the farthest first algorithm of 0 seconds.

Abstract

Introducing geometric shapes in early childhood is the ability of children to recognize, point, mention and collect objects around based on geometric shapes by using geometry game applications on android. Introducing geometric shapes in early childhood starts from building geometric concepts, namely by identifying the characteristics of geometric shapes. Before identifying geometric shapes, in children's cognitive development according to Bloom's theory there are six levels of processes in thinking, including knowing, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating. The purpose that will be carried out in this study is at the level of the ability to know, recognize, and apply with geometry game applications that have been downloaded on the playstore on Android. In this study, researchers wanted to see how children's knowledge about recognizing geometric shapes and how to improve the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children

Abstract

The present research aims to investigate and describe the provision of inclusive education services in early childhood education institutions, focusing on TK Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 2 and PAUD Lab School UNNES in Semarang, Indonesia. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive case study approach, the study comprehensively examined various aspects, including curriculum, student demographics, educator training, infrastructure, and financing. Key findings indicate the utilization of a collaboratively developed "Merdeka Curriculum" aimed at holistic child development. Both schools have incorporated a specialized student selection process to identify and accommodate special needs students. Educators are rigorously trained in inclusive education methods and continuously monitored for program effectiveness. Infrastructure and funding support are pivotal for the actualization of inclusive practices. These findings have profound implications for practice and policy in inclusive education, reaffirming the necessity for inclusive school management and stakeholder involvement. However, the study is constrained by its localized focus and calls for further research to broaden its generalizability and investigate the long-term impacts of these programs.

Abstract

This study explores the planning of character education projects to strengthen the Pancasila student profile through local culture in early childhood education at TK Sukoharjo 1 and TK Desa Majasto 02. Employing a descriptive qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through interviews, observations, and document studies. The findings reveal comprehensive strategies for planning, implementing, and evaluating character education projects. At TK Sukoharjo 01, the project involved forming a facilitator team, identifying readiness stages, and developing specific learning modules. Implementation utilized real-life experiences such as gardening and local markets, while evaluation focused on cooperation, communication, and care. At TK Desa Majasto 02, the project preparation included curriculum development, facilitator team formation, and methods centered around the local culture of "Ngapem," emphasizing global diversity, cooperation, and independence. The implications of these findings are profound for educational policy and practice. Integrating local cultural practices into character education effectively strengthens the Pancasila student profile, fostering values essential for national cohesion and global citizenship. These insights suggest that policymakers and educators should adopt similar culturally embedded educational frameworks, ensuring that character education is theoretically sound, practically relevant, and contextually appropriate. Despite the promising outcomes, limitations include the study's scope confined to two early childhood centers and reliance on qualitative data. Future research should explore applying similar projects in diverse settings, investigating long-term impacts, and integrating quantitative measures to enhance the evidence base.
