Abstract

The difficulty of understanding the material for making bustiers just from the teacher's explanation makes students look for more material on the internet so they can repeat the learning independently. However, the material obtained was not made in the correct systematic way. Apart from that, learning media for bustier making that is capable of presenting the material concretely is still very limited. This research aims to develop Web blog media and test the suitability of Web blog media for women's fashion subjects. This type of research is research and development (R&D) research, and this research uses the ADDIE development model. Media development validation was carried out by 3 material experts and 3 media experts. A needs analysis shows that 94% of students agree with the development of a web blog. The results of the material expert assessment on the learning aspect were 89%, the material aspect was 92%, and the overall average assessment was 90.5% in the Very Decent category. The results of the media expert's assessment of the usability aspect were 94%, the media design aspect was 96%, and overall, the average was 95% in the Very Appropriate category. The results of limited trials carried out by 5 students obtained an average of 87.1% in the very good category. Advanced field trials carried out by 36 students obtained an average rating of 89.5% in the very good category. Based on the results of validation and media testing, it can be concluded that the Web blog media developed is very suitable for use as a learning medium for bustier-making material in the women's clothing subject. The development of Web blog media can make it easier to deliver material and make students more interested in repeating learning so that it can increase students' understanding of the correct bustier making.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of sewing results of women's plus-size pantaloon, using the pattern-on-fabric technique at Rencong Tailor in Binjai. This study consists of one variable, and the researchers employed a descriptive research method. The population of this study included plus-size women with a waist circumference of 100-105 cm and a hip circumference of 120-125 cm. The objects used in this study were 5 pairs of plus-size pantaloon that were sewn using the pattern-on-fabric technique at Rencong Tailor in Binjai. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets with the help of 5 observers, consisting of 3 lecturers in Fashion Design and Clothing and 2 experts in pantaloon making. Based on the calculation results from the observation assessments, the researchers found that the sewing results of plus-size short pants using the pattern-on-fabric technique obtained the highest score of 98 and the lowest score of 89. The average value (Mean) was 94.2, and the standard deviation was 69.06 for each indicator.

Abstract

The independent campus learning curriculum currently being developed focuses on student-centered learning so that lecturers are not the only source of learning. This research was motivated by the lack of student learning independence and low learning outcomes in craft arts learning. The aim of the research is to produce Digital Student Worksheets that are feasible and effective in increasing student learning independence in Arts and Crafts courses in the Fashion Design Education study program. This development research uses the Thiagarajan 4-D development model. This model consists of 4 stages, including the needs analysis stage, product design stage, validation and evaluation stage. The results of validation by material experts obtained an average result of 4.12 in the feasible category. the validation results from media experts obtained an average score of 4.27 in the adequate category. The results of trials carried out by lecturers and students obtained an average score of 4.55 in the very good category. At this stage, an evaluation of all activities that have been carried out is carried out, especially the input provided by experts and users. The results of the posttest carried out obtained an increase of 28% in improving learning outcomes. Digital LKM is suitable for use in learning and motivates students to increase student independence. Digital LKM can help students learn independently. The implication of this research is that digital LKM can be used by teachers because it can present problems in more detail so that students can construct their knowledge independently.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan orangtua dan guru di PAUD Baitul Marhamah kelurahan Ketileng kota Cilegon dalam mendukung perkembangan emosional anak dengan memberikan kebutuhan emosi yang tepat hingga berimbas pada peningkatan motivasi belajar. Penelitian dan pengalaman menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional memainkan peran penting dalam pembentukan karakter anak dan keberhasilan akademik mereka. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini melibatkan seminar, pelatihan, dan diskusi interaktif antara orangtua dan guru untuk memahami pentingnya kolaborasi dalam pengasuhan yang mendukung aspek emosional anak. Metode pengambilan data pada penelitian pengabdian Masyarakat ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dan pendekatan PAR. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa saat observasi berlangsung pemahaman orang terkait kebutuhan emosi anak dengan total sebesar 35% dan 40% meningkat menjadi 85% dan 90% serta aspek motivasi belajar anak di rumah dengan total sebesar 45% dan 65% di sekolah menjadi 85% dan 95% setelah evaluasi dilakukan pasca seminar.
