Abstract

Stress management is the skill to channel stress to avoid feeling depressed in order to balance your emotions. It was found that early adults in Sijantung Village lacked skills in stress management. Therefore, this community service aims to provide education on stress management. This service is carried out using a community-based educational method with various stages, namely: pre-survey, survey, implementation, and evaluation and closing. The location of the implementation of community service was carried out in Sijantung Village, Rempang, Galang. The result of this community service activity is that it has a significant positive impact. Participants showed a better understanding of the importance of mental health, which was previously often overlooked. They also learned to recognize and manage stress effectively through techniques such as writing positive affirmation sentences..

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) memainkan peranan penting dalam pembentukan kecerdasan emosional yang dapat menunjang keberhasilan anak dalam aspek sosial, akademik, dan psikologis. Program psikoedukasi yang dilaksanakan di PAUDQu Al Khoiriyah bertujuan untuk mengenalkan emosi dasar pada anak-anak usia 4-5 tahun melalui pendekatan yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak-anak dalam mengenali dan mengekspresikan emosi dasar seperti senang, sedih, marah, takut, dan kaget. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini meliputi penggunaan media visual, permainan peran, dan lagu edukatif yang melibatkan gerakan tubuh, yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan partisipasi aktif anak-anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara kepada murid untuk mengukur perubahan pemahaman anak-anak sebelum dan setelah intervensi. Hasil program menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar anak-anak berhasil mengenali emosi dasar dan lebih terbuka dalam mengekspresikan perasaan mereka. Kesimpulannya, program psikoedukasi ini berhasil mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan dan memberikan dampak positif dalam perkembangan emosional anak-anak, serta memberikan rekomendasi agar program serupa dapat diperluas dan diterapkan secara berkelanjutan di PAUD lainnya.

Abstract

This research study seeks to investigate the impact of morning dhikr recitation on executive function, specifically regarding sustained attention and inhibitory control, as well as the influence of mindful parenting on children diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Parenting children with ADHD can provide significant emotional and behavioral challenges, often leading to increased stress, frustration, and fatigue. This research investigates sustained attention and inhibitory control during morning dhikr recitation and its impact on executive function. This study utilizes thematic analysis to identify relevant themes and discourse analysis to assess the importance of morning dhikr. The research synthesizes interdisciplinary insights from psychology, religious studies, and cultural wisdom traditions to clarify how spiritual foundations and indigenous contemplative practices may improve attentive, compassionate, and resilient parenting. The aim is for this literature evaluation to be employed consistently and thoroughly in both governmental and non-governmental ADHD treatment programs
