Students have the opportunity to work in real life or internship activities to channel the theory that has been obtainedin lectures. The purpose of internship activities is to provide students with a real picture of the world of work, so thatstudents can get used to it and have a high level of work readiness after graduation. Lecture activities and workschedules result in dual roles resulting in difficulty achieving work-life balance. Work-life balance is a balance of theuse of time, energy, goal achievement, and tension in work and personal life. Reliability in this study α = 0.847 Meanwhile, validitytesting shows 0.302 - 0.753 > 0.188, P = 0.00 < 0.05 and Pearson Correlation is positive, so this study is valid. Theresults of this study indicate that the normality test was carried out using the one sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov testmethod (P = 0.000 <0.05) so that the data in the study were said to be not normally distributed. This study shows thatthere is no difference in work-life balance between women and men (P = 0.174 > 0.05), there is no difference basedon the age of the participants (P = 0.335 > 0.05), there is no difference based on the semester of the internship (P =0.348 > 0.05). The results of this research show that the average work-life balance score for MSIB Batch 6 internstudents is 2,664, this score is considered low using the Likert scale calculation.

Abstract

The transition from secondary school to higher education is a critical phase filled with various academic challenges that may affect students’ subjective well-being, both cognitively and affectively. University students are required to adapt to new learning environments, increasing academic demands, the need for independence, and the pressure to perform optimally. These challenges often impact students' mood, emotions, and overall life satisfaction. Therefore, subjective well-being is an essential component in understanding students' quality of life and their capacity to cope with academic stress. This study aims to describe the subjective well-being of students at University X Jakarta. A descriptive quantitative research method was employed using purposive sampling, involving 114 student participants. The research instrument used was a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 4. The results indicate that students' overall level of subjective well-being is categorized as moderate (63.2%). The mean score for the positive affect dimension was 1.92, the negative affect dimension was 2.46, and the life satisfaction dimension was 2.03. An independent t-test revealed a significant difference in subjective well-being based on gender (Asymptotic Significance 0.048 < 0.05), with female students demonstrating a higher level of subjective well-being compared to male students. These findings imply the importance of developing psychological well-being support services on campus, such as counseling services, stress management programs, and emotional capacity strengthening strategies. Such efforts are expected to help students cope with academic challenges and improve their overall quality of life during higher education.

Abstract

Personality development in elementary school-aged children serves as a crucial foundation for shaping character, thought patterns, and social behavior that will carry into adolescence and adulthood. Understanding the personality traits of elementary students is an important factor in predicting their academic achievement. The dynamics of personality development, particularly in rural areas, possess unique and complex characteristics. Factors such as close-knit social environments, strong local cultural values, and limited access to educational facilities play a significant role in shaping children's personalities in these regions. Ciherang Village, located in Cianjur Regency, West Java, is one such rural area with distinct social and educational characteristics. In the context of primary education, challenges such as limited infrastructure, restricted access to learning resources, and a shortage of qualified educators can influence both the learning process and the psychological development of students. Amid these conditions, understanding students' personality traits becomes increasingly vital. This study aims to provide an overview of the personality profiles of elementary school students in Ciherang Village using a descriptive quantitative approach. A total of 154 students from several elementary schools in the village participated in this research. The instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 48 items assessing five personality dimensions: Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. The analysis revealed that most participants scored high in Agreeableness and low in Neuroticism. These findings suggest the need for implementing collaborative learning systems and relational approaches to support students' optimal personality development.
