Abstract

Luwak coffee is one type of coffee that is currently one of the most popular variants for coffee-loving consumers. The existence of civet coffee-based businesses is also increasing, including the Kopi Luwak business Omah Kopi in Banyuwangi. The number of civet coffee processing agro-industries that have sprung up, technological developments and people's lifestyles make the Luwak Coffee Agroindustry "Omah Kopi" have to continue to innovate to survive. Based on this phenomenon, the research objectives to be examined are to determine the strategic position and development strategy of the "Omah Kopi" agroindustry. The location of this research is at Agroindustry Kopi Luwak "Omah Kopi" Banyuwangi. A quantitative description approach is used in the research method, using survey methods. The sampling method uses purposive sampling method. The data analysis method uses SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the Banyuwangi "omah Kopi" agroindustry is in a strong position with opportunities (white area) in the growth / stability quadrant so that the right strategy to do is with a strategy that maximizes its strengths and opportunities. The conclusion of this study is that the civet coffee agroindustry "Omah kopi" is feasible to continue to be developed to become one of the quality civet coffee processing businesses in Banyuwangi both in the local and international markets

Abstract

Graha Indah Sub-district, RT 25, North Balikpapan, is one of the areas that has long implemented aquaponic cultivation. In aquaponic systems, plants require adequate nutrient input for optimal growth. Generally, fish waste produced in the system can serve as a natural fertilizer. However, excessive accumulation of fish waste can be harmful and toxic to the fish being cultivated. Therefore, an alternative source of nutrients is required to support plant growth, one of which is the use of eco-enzyme. Eco-enzyme can be produced through the fermentation of household organic waste such as (pineapple, guava, dragon fruit, banana, and orange) residues—combined with palm sugar and water in a ratio of 3:1:10. Eco-enzyme is highly suitable for application in aquaponic systems as it contains essential plant nutrients such as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), which are crucial for plant development. In addition, eco-enzyme has the potential to convert ammonia—produced from fish waste into nitrate, which can be readily utilized by plants. The initiative of processing household organic waste into eco-enzyme in Graha Indah Sub-district, RT 25, presents a sustainable solution for organic waste management. The resulting eco-enzyme can be utilized as an organic input in aquaponic cultivation systems. The community service program (PkM) was deemed successful, as all participants achieved evaluation scores in accordance with the predetermined standards.

Abstract

Gabungan Kelompok Tani (GAPOKTAN) Sumber Laut mengembangkan rumput laut varietas Eucheuma cottonii yang dikenal mempunyai kandungan nutrisi kompleks dan senyawa bioaktif. GAPOKTAN Sumber Laut Berjaya dapat menghasilkan hingga 1 ton rumput laut basah per panen. Namun, tingginya produktivitas tidak diimbangi dengan tinggi permintaan pasar. Rumput laut yang belum terjual terpaksa disimpan terlebih dahulu. Namun, penyimpanannya masih terbatas, hanya menggunakan plastik dan karung yang diletakkan langsung di lantai tanpa sekat atau alas. Kemunduran rumput laut selama penyimpanan pada umumnya disebabkan karena masyarakat belum menerapkan teknik pascapanen yang tepat karena terbatasnya peralatan dan minimya pengetahuan. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya upaya peningkatan pengetahuan terkait penanganan pascapanen rumput laut kepada Kelompok Tani Sumber Laut Berjaya melalui kegiatan pendampingan dan pelatihan. Kegiatan diawali dengan sosialisasi penanganan pascapananen dan dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan. Pelatihan penanganan pascapanen dapat membantu mitra dalam menentukan teknik pascapanen yang tepat sehingga dapat mengurangi penurunan mutu rumput laut selama penyimpanan yang akan berdampak pada penurunan nilai ekonomi dan kandungan nutrisi, serta berpotensi menyumbang food loss dan food waste.Kegiatan PkM dinyatakan berhasil karena keseluruhan peserta dapat memperoleh nilai evaluasi diatas nilai 60.
