<![CDATA[This paper is organized to explore the relevance of hypostasis union to strengthen Christian monotheism through theological reflection on the work of the cross of Christ. Hypostasis union is a doctrine that embodies the unity in divinity and mortality of Jesus Christ. Hypostasis union strengthens Christian monotheism where Christian monotheism is the belief in the one true God through Jesus Christ. The work of the cross of Jesus Christ is crucial in affirming Christian monotheism. The concept of hypostasis union has its foundation in the gospel where the monotheistic God is embodied in the perspective of the trinity without harming monotheism. In the perspective of hypostasis union, the triune God carries out the mission of saving humanity through the work of the cross of Jesus Christ. The work of the cross of Jesus Christ gives confirmation of the belief in one God who saves. Through descriptive qualitative research method, the author will reveal the relevance of hypostasis union in strengthening Christian monotheism through theological reflection on the work of the cross of Jesus Christ. The author states that hypostasis union affirms the one and only God where the transcendent God involves Himself in the history of humanity's salvation through the work of the cross of Jesus Christ.AbstrakTulisan ini dirangkai guna mengekslporasi relevansi hypostasis union untuk memperkuat monoteisme Kristen melalui refleksi teologis karya salib Kristus. Hypostasis union merupakan doktrin yang mengejawantahkan kesatuan dalam divinitas dan mortalitas Yesus Kristus. Hypostasis union memberikan penguatan terhadap monoteisme Kristen dimana monoteisme Kristen merupakan keyakinan akan Allah yang satu dan sejati melalui Yesus Kristus. Disatu sisi, arya salib Yesus Kristus merupakan hal yang krusial dalam menegaskan monoteisme Kristen. Konsep hypostasis union memiliki landasan dari Injil dimana Allah yang monoteistik diejawantahakn di dalam perspektif trinitas tanpa menciderai monoteisme. Di dalam perspektif hypostasis union, Allah yang tritunggal tersebut menjalankan misi penyelamatan manusia melalui karya salib Yesus Kristus. Karya salib Yesus Kristus memberikan pengukuhan keyakinan terhadap satu Allah yang menyelamatkan. Melalui metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, penulis akan mengungkapkan relevansi hypostasis union dalam memperkuat monoteisme Kristen melalui refleksi teologis atas karya salib Yesus Kristus. Penulis menyatakan bahwa hypostasis union memberikan penegasn terhadap Allah yang satu dan esa dimana Allah yang transenden melibatkan diri di dalam sejarah keselamatan umat manusia melalui karya salib Yesus Kristus dan penelitian ini akan memberikan kebaharuan untuk memperkuat posisi monoteisme Kristen.]]>
