Abstract

In the age of digital payments, cryptocurrencies have gained significant attention as an alternative investment option. However, security risks such as phishing, hacking, and fraudulent exchanges present challenges for investors. This study aims to assess the level of awareness among the general public in Malaysia regarding cryptocurrency security risks. A quantitative research method was employed, using a survey questionnaire distributed to 150 Malaysian citizens via social media platforms. The questionnaire explored respondents' knowledge of cryptocurrencies, awareness of security risks, and protective measures such as security programs, two-factor authentication (2FA), and education. The results of the regression analysis show that the installation of security programs, 2FA, and public education are all significant predictors of increased awareness of cryptocurrency security risks, with a combined R² value of 0.523. This suggests that 52.3% of the variance in awareness is explained by these factors. The study concludes that strengthening security measures and providing education can significantly improve public understanding of cryptocurrency risks, leading to safer investment practices. The implications of these findings highlight the need for targeted education and security initiatives to enhance public confidence in cryptocurrency, making digital currency investments more secure.

Abstract

Foodpanda struggles with delayed deliveries, inconsistent food quality, limited menu variety, and pricing issues, leading to ongoing customer dissatisfaction despite promotional efforts. This study examines the impact of delivery experience, menu variety, pricing perception, promotion, and food quality on customer satisfaction with Foodpanda Malaysia, with customer perceived value as a mediator. A total of 135 respondents were surveyed to investigate how these factors influence customer satisfaction. The results show that Foodpanda's customer satisfaction is driven by delivery experience, pricing perception, food quality, and customer perceived value, with pricing perception being the most influential. Menu variety and promotion type have no significant impact. Delivery experience and pricing perception also indirectly boost satisfaction by enhancing perceived value, whereas menu variety, promotion type, and food quality do not significantly affect perceived value. The study highlights the importance of perceived value as a mediator, offering actionable insights for improving customer experience in the food delivery industry.

Abstract

This study examines the key factors influencing trust in e-wallet security among Malaysian undergraduate students. Using an online survey, data were collected from undergraduates across various universities in Malaysia to identify determinants such as perceived security, privacy protection, user interface quality, trust in service providers, regulatory assurance, and prior user experiences. The findings reveal that students’ trust in e-wallet platforms is strongly shaped by their perceptions of data security, platform transparency, and awareness of cybersecurity practices. Platforms offering clear encryption mechanisms, biometric authentication, and prompt responses to fraud incidents tend to generate higher levels of user trust. Despite the widespread adoption of digital payment systems, concerns related to data breaches and the misuse of personal information remain significant. The study underscores the need for continuous improvements in security features, enhanced user education on digital safety, and transparent policy frameworks to strengthen trust in e-wallet systems. These findings offer valuable insights for policymakers, financial institutions, and application developers seeking to foster a secure, reliable, and inclusive digital payment environment for young users in Malaysia, thereby supporting broader goals of digital inclusion and community developmentDeterminants of Trust in E-Wallet Security: A Study Among Malaysian Undergraduates
