Fast food is currently gaining popularity and becoming a global trend. Fast food is the most popular option among people because it is consumed quickly and cheaply. Consuming fast food is a result of a change in lifestyle from the past. It encourages workers or individuals to eat fast food rather than prepare their own meals. Therefore, despite having several of its closest rivals, such as Burger King, Pizza Hut, KFC, etc., McDonald’s is still one of the largest and most recognizable fast-food chains in the world.  This paper aims to examine and analyze the factors that influence customers’ preference toward McDonald. An online survey questionnaire was used for data collection, this survey will involve 100 respondents who have consumed Mcdonald’s. The results of this study will help us to better grasp customers’ perceptions of Mcdonald’s.

Abstract

Since Apple’s 2010 release of the revolutionary iPhone 4, the brand has become a dominant force in the tech industry, fostering high customer loyalty through its integrated, secure ecosystem. This study aims to explore the factors driving Apple’s consumer loyalty in Malaysia, focusing on brand experience, brand innovativeness, social influence, perceived value, and brand trust. Primary and secondary data were collected, and a digital survey of 150 Malaysian Apple users provided insights into their loyalty determinants. Using regression analysis, the findings reveal that perceived value and brand trust significantly and positively impact consumer loyalty, while brand experience, brand innovativeness, and social influence show minimal influence. With an R-squared value of 0.596, the model suggests that nearly 60% of loyalty variance is explained by these factors, highlighting perceived value and trust as critical components. These results imply that Apple should prioritize enhancing perceived value and maintaining brand trust to strengthen consumer loyalty in competitive markets. Future research could explore additional factors like sustainability and community engagement to provide a fuller understanding of loyalty drivers in the tech industry.

Abstract

Touch ‘n Go is a Malaysian digital wallet app that offers secure, convenient and cashless transactions for users. It allows people to make payments through their smartphones anywhere in the country, including retail stores, restaurants and transportation hubs. Thus, this paper aims to study the factors that affect the adoption of e-wallets in Malaysia. In our research, a survey will be conducted using Google Forms for data collection. We have sent a survey to our target respondents, people who are using Touch ‘n Go e-Wallet. Our research aims to find out whether perceived convenience, perceived security, consumer attitudes and social influence will affect the intention of consumers to use Touch ‘n Go e-Wallet. Our findings show that perceived convenience and customer attitudes have a significant positive impact on the adoption of e-wallets while perceived security and social influence play a minimal role only. These findings highlight the importance of usability, user experience and trust-building strategies. Thus, Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd may improve the adoption of e-wallets among Malaysians in the future by focusing on these aspects.
