Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze quality management implemented strategies at SMA Negeri 1 Jepon to enhance learning effectiveness. Quality education serves as the foundation for developing competent, character-driven, and globally prepared generations. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving school principals, teachers, students, and parents as key stakeholders. Findings reveal that SMA Negeri 1 Jepon applies an integrated quality management approach, emphasizing continuous planning and evaluation, teacher training programs, and active involvement of parents in the learning process. The principal plays a pivotal role in fostering collaborative leadership and monitoring teacher performance, ensuring alignment with quality management objectives. The implemented strategies have demonstrated significant impacts, including improved academic achievements, enhanced student and parent satisfaction, and more innovative teaching methods. This study concludes that the integration of Total Quality Management (TQM) principles, involving all stakeholders, effectively supports continuous improvement in the learning process. Recommendations are provided to sustain and optimize these strategies for long-term quality enhancement in education. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi manajemen mutu yang diterapkan di SMA Negeri 1 Jepon untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Pendidikan berkualitas menjadi dasar dalam membangun generasi yang kompeten, berkarakter, dan siap menghadapi tantangan global. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan orang tua sebagai pemangku kepentingan utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMA Negeri 1 Jepon menerapkan pendekatan manajemen mutu terpadu, dengan penekanan pada perencanaan dan evaluasi yang berkesinambungan, program pelatihan guru, serta keterlibatan aktif orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran. Kepala sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong kepemimpinan kolaboratif dan memantau kinerja guru untuk memastikan keselarasan dengan tujuan manajemen mutu. Strategi yang diterapkan telah menunjukkan dampak signifikan, termasuk peningkatan prestasi akademik, kepuasan siswa dan orang tua, serta metode pengajaran yang lebih inovatif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi prinsip Total Quality Management (TQM) dengan melibatkan seluruh pemangku kepentingan secara efektif mendukung peningkatan berkelanjutan dalam proses pembelajaran. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk mempertahankan dan mengoptimalkan strategi ini guna meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dalam jangka panjang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal instructional leadership, infrastructure, and teacher professional development on learning quality in public senior high schools (SMA Negeri) in Blora Regency. A quantitative approach with an associative research design was employed to examine the relationship between these variables. The research involved 200 teachers as respondents, selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods, with the assistance of SPSS Statistics Version 26. The findings reveal that all three independent variables significantly influence learning quality. Principal instructional leadership has a strong positive effect on learning quality, with a correlation coefficient of 0.918 and an impact of 84.2%. Infrastructure also plays a crucial role, showing a correlation coefficient of 0.872 and contributing 76% to learning quality. Teacher professional development demonstrates a strong correlation of 0.890, influencing 79.2% of learning quality. The multiple regression analysis indicates that these three factors simultaneously explain 86.6% of the variance in learning quality, while the remaining 13.4% is influenced by other factors outside the model. The study concludes that effective principal instructional leadership, adequate infrastructure, and continuous teacher professional development are key determinants in enhancing learning quality. Schools with strong leadership, well-maintained facilities, and active teacher training programs tend to achieve higher educational outcomes. These findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach in improving learning quality through leadership empowerment, facility enhancement, and professional teacher development. Future research is recommended to explore additional factors affecting learning quality, such as curriculum implementation, student motivation, and parental involvement. Policymakers and school administrators should prioritize leadership training, facility investment, and professional development programs to optimize the quality of education in Blora Regency and beyond.
