Abstract

Occupational safety is an important part of the implementation of construction projects, where occupational safety requires the same attention to quality, time and cost. Management must develop a safety work program and undertake to execute the program in order to create safety on the project site. Therefore, the identification of the primary key is required for the implementation of K3 during the pandemic. The research data was obtained through a survey of questionnaires distributed to the workers of the construction project of the Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya Campus II building and the analysis of the data was carried out in a descriptive way. Based on the results of the mean and standard deviation analysis, the results obtained are the dominant OSH factors during the pandemic in the Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya Campus II building construction project, namely (1) K3 Regulations and Procedures, (2) Employee participation, and (3) Employee communication.

Abstract

In project implementation, management of cost, time, and quality must be carried out carefully to ensure project completion is in accordance with the schedule and budget that has been set. As a project funded by the government, project implementers are expected to be able to manage the budget efficiently. The construction project for the Palangka Raya City Police Detention Center and Narcotics Unit Building, with a contract value of Rp. 4,654,035,594.00 with an implementation duration of 150 working days, starting from June 21 to November 17, 2024. However, in the 13th week of implementation, the project progress was recorded at 41.22%, with a deviation of 1.46%, while the target progress that should have been achieved was 42.67%. This study aims to evaluate the cost and time performance during project implementation. The results of the cost performance evaluation showed that the ACWP in the 19th week was Rp3,381,386,536.73, lower than the BCWP of Rp3,611,321,688.70. Consistently positive CV values and CPI values that are always more than 1 indicate good cost efficiency. The remaining cost projection for project completion is Rp.976,323,646.85, so the total project completion cost is estimated at Rp.4,357,710,183.58, with a surplus of Rp.296,325,410.42 from the contract budget. Time performance evaluation, in the 19th week the negative SV value of -Rp.206,811,358.25 and SPI of 0.946 indicate project delays. The average CR value> 1 indicates that overall project performance in terms of cost and time is still in the good category. The time projection for the remaining work to complete the project is 17.974 days, with a total completion time of 150.974 days, exceeding the planned schedule with a delay of 0.974 days rounded up to 1 day

Abstract

Examining the effect of the “occupational safety and health (K3) policy on worker performance” is very useful in order to get the influence of OSH involvement when it impacts workers. In construction projects, there are many elements that influence the success of the project, one of which is the quality of worker performance. Aims to find OSH policy factors and OSH policy factors during a pandemic on the performance of construction project workers by carrying out a literature study on several previous studies. The research methodology is conducting a literature search using the Publish or Perish application. Relevant literature is then used as a source of research. The results of the literature study, there are 39 OHS policy factors that are considered to have the potential to affect worker performance consisting of 30 OHS policy factors and 9 OHS policy factors during the pandemic on worker performance. There are 7 factors that are the most common in previous research, namely: the company provides work safety equipment, workers often use personal protective equipment to prevent incidents while carrying out their work. The implementation of the K3 system in order to guarantee the situation “The health of the workers, as well as providing a comfortable environment when they arrive has a good impact on the continuity of the workers in the Company”. Through the implementation of this facilitated programming implementation, the Company can improve the quality of workers and be able to manage their time properly when completing their work.
