Abstract

The increasing demand for clean water services in Majalengka Regency, especially in the strategic area of West Java International Airport (BIJB), necessitates optimal performance from PDAM Majalengka. This study aims to evaluate and optimize SPAM technology implementation to enhance water distribution services. Using quantitative analysis through surveys and statistical testing with SPSS, findings indicate that key factors such as water pressure, continuity, quality, pricing, and complaint handling significantly influence customer satisfaction. Recommendations include upgrading distribution networks, optimizing existing water sources, and adopting advanced SPAM technologies to meet future demands.

Abstract

This study presents a systematic review of recent literature that explores the relationship between road capacity and level of service (LOS), two critical components in transportation engineering and urban planning. As traffic volumes continue to grow in urban environments, understanding how road capacity impacts service quality is essential for improving mobility, reducing congestion, and planning sustainable transportation systems. The review synthesizes findings from multiple peer-reviewed sources, focusing on key methodologies, variables, and evaluation criteria used to assess capacity and LOS in different contexts. In addition to traditional analytical frameworks, this study incorporates a bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer to visualize keyword connections and research trends. The results reveal that evaluation methods, road geometry, and strategic design are dominant themes in literature, while gaps remain in studies integrating real-time data and behavioral factors. This research contributes to the field by mapping current knowledge, identifying emerging research directions, and offering insights for future transportation policy and infrastructure development efforts.

Abstract

Geometric road design is fundamental to the development of efficient, safe, and sustainable transportation systems. In recent years, the application of digital tools, particularly AutoCAD Civil 3D, has significantly improved the accuracy and efficiency of road design processes. This systematic review investigates evaluation methods for geometric road design published between 2020 and 2025, with a focus on the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D as a primary tool. The review synthesizes findings from peer-reviewed journals, highlighting how Civil 3D has been applied in tasks such as horizontal and vertical alignment analysis, cross-section modeling, and corridor development. Results indicate that AutoCAD Civil 3D not only streamlines the design workflow but also supports better decision-making through three-dimensional visualization and real-time data integration. However, the review also identifies several limitations, including software complexity, the need for specialized training, and challenges in interoperability with other systems. Overall, this study emphasizes the critical role of AutoCAD Civil 3D in modern road design evaluation and encourages the adoption of standardized methodologies and continuous professional development to optimize its application in transportation infrastructure planning

Abstract

Transportation is an inseparable part of human survival. Related to human activities, transportation plays a very significant role in social, economic, environmental and other aspects.Tol Road is a public and closed road where its construction is charged to cross according to theapplicable tariffs. This road is a form of tariff grant on the road that is generally applied to coverthe cost of construction and maintenance of the road. Tol Road Cisumdawu is one of the road freeof barriers that crosses from the area of Cileunyi, Sumedang, Dawuan. This Tol road is no morethan an effort to streamline traffic to improve the distribution of goods and services that grow theeconomy around, as well as become one of the fast access between the districts of the city. A bridgeis a building that allows a road to cross a river, valley or other road of different elevations. In theplanning of the bridge must take into account the functional needs of transportation. This journalfocuses on methods of implementation of pile bore, pilecap, as well as pier work located on theconstruction project of Road Tol cisumdawu section 5 b located in the village of cipelangkecamatan ujungjaya sumedang.

Abstract

Road maintenance is an effort to improve road conditions that are functionally feasible and structurally feasible, so the handling of roads must be in accordance with the type of damage experienced by the road. Inappropriate handling will only throw away the budget spent because its function will not be optimal and will definitely break again quickly.A road requires maintenance and maintenance on road construction and parts of the road construction. With road maintenance, it can maintain the condition of the road when the road is completed until the planned age is reached on the road.Damage to the road will cause a lot of losses that can be felt by users directly, because it will certainly hamper the speed and comfort of road users and cause many victims due to road damage that is not immediately handled by the agency that handles it. Basically planning the life of the road pavement is adjusted to the conditions and needs of the existing traffic, generally designed within a time limit of 10-20 years, which means that the road is expected not to suffer damage in the first 5 years. However, if in reality the road is damaged before the first 5 years, then it is certain that the road will experience major problems in the future (Hardiyatmo, 2007).In order to maintain road conditions at a proper performance in serving various modes of transportation, it is necessary to evaluate the road surface to find out whether the road is still in good condition or there is a need for an improvement program for routine maintenance or periodic maintenance. The form of road maintenance depends on the results of the damage condition assessment.road surface that has been determined visually, while several methods that are often used are the Bina Marga method (1990) and the PCI (pavement condition index) method (Hardiyatmo, 2007).

Abstract

This study examined the effect of road damage on the operation of alternate transportation routes using the systematic literature review (SLR) method. This study focused on the effects of road geometry, various forms of road damage, and societal repercussions. Major academic databases were searched for literature from 2013 to 2023 using the predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. According to general studies, geometric elements including lane width, curvature, slope, and shoulder conditions are directly associated to different types of damage like cracks, potholes, grooves, and drainage failures. These damages result in decreased route capacity, longer delivery times, higher rates of vehicle damage, higher accident risks, and restricted access to essential services. The social effects are substantial in places with little redundancy in the infrastructure. The findings demonstrate the importance of integrated planning that takes preventative maintenance and geometric design into account in order to guarantee transportation resilience and community welfare.

Abstract

Aren palm (Arenga pinnata) plays a significant role as an economic commodity and a renewable energy source in West Java, Indonesia. However, fluctuations in plantation areas caused by land use change, climate variability, and socio-economic factors have created challenges for sustainable management. Accurate prediction of aren plantation area dynamics is required to support decision-making and policy design for renewable energy development and environmental sustainability. This study aims to predict changes in aren plantation areas in West Java using a combination of Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) for time-series forecasting and Machine Learning algorithms for enhanced prediction accuracy. Historical data of aren plantation areas from 2013 to 2023 were collected from official government databases. ARIMA was applied to model temporal trends, while Machine Learning approaches such as Random Forest and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) were employed to capture non-linear relationships and integrate external factors such as rainfall, soil characteristics, and urbanization patterns. In addition, a geospatial approach using Geographic Information System (GIS) was adopted to visualize spatial changes in plantation areas.Preliminary results indicate that ARIMA successfully models short-term trends with relatively low forecasting errors (RMSE < 15%). Machine Learning models demonstrate the potential to improve robustness and predictive accuracy by incorporating multidimensional variables. The integration of spatial visualization enables stakeholders to identify high-risk regions for land conversion and areas with strong potential for sustainable aren cultivation. The findings of this research provide a foundation for developing a decision support system to enhance sustainable plantation management and bioethanol policy planning in West Java. The proposed predictive framework contributes not only to the field of computational forecasting but also to the strategic alignment of renewable energy development with local socio-economic priorities.
