Abstract

This study aims to discuss the concept of the Islamic education model during the time of Prophet Muhammad and its reconstruction for the present era. It encompasses Islamic education conducted during two periods, namely the Makkah and Madinah periods, along with the values for reconstructing Islamic education applicable in the modern era. The author employed a literature review method, drawing data from journals, books, and relevant references related to the discussed topic. The study's findings indicate that in reconstructing Islamic education, attention must be given to the harmony of teaching methods. This includes the integration of digital platforms, specialized applications, and artificial intelligence to support learning. Strengthening character education can be achieved through practical learning methods, character-based projects, and collaborative learning. Moreover, holistic Islamic scholarship emphasizes spiritual, intellectual, social, and moral aspects. By adopting the values and methods of Islamic education from the time of Prophet Muhammad and formulating a curriculum aligned with the needs of the current era, it is hoped that contemporary Islamic education can provide a profound and sustainable understanding for learners.

Abstract

Education is a deliberate process aimed at developing the potential of students. The principal's significant role in educational institutions ensures the achievement of quality education. The purpose of this research is to explore various leadership styles and strategies implemented by the principal to improve the quality of education at SMP Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Plupuh, Sragen Regency, Central Java. Field research methods were used to collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation, with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results found that inclusive, democratic leadership with a family-oriented approach successfully created a conducive school environment for growth and innovation. An effective principal can integrate the educational vision with daily practices at the school, foster strong collaboration between staff and students, and build an environment that supports innovation and continuous learning.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai Pendididikan Islam Masa Dinasti Fatimiyah (909-1171), Ayyubiyah (1171-1341) Dan Mamluk (1250-1517, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan untuk mengeksplorasi pendidikan Islam pada masa Dinasti Fatimiyah, Ayyubiyah, dan Mamluk. Sumber data utama adalah buku panduan, jurnal, dan literatur terkait. Penulisan dilakukan secara sistematis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif argumentatif. Kesimpulan diambil setelah merujuk kembali pada rumusan masalah, tujuan penulisan, dan pembahasan yang dilakukan. Metode penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang perkembangan pendidikan Islam dalam konteks sejarah yang bersangkutan. Hasil kajian meunjukkan bahwa peran penting pendidikan Islam pada masa Dinasti Fatimiyah, Ayyubiyah, dan Mamluk. Pendidikan dianggap krusial dalam pembangunan ilmu pengetahuan dan kemajuan bangsa. Dinasti Fatimiyah menciptakan lembaga-lembaga pendidikan seperti Masjid Al Azhar dan Akademi Darul Hikmah. Dinasti Ayyubiyah memperhatikan pendidikan di madrasah dan rumah sakit sebagai pusat keilmuan. Dinasti Mamluk mengambil peran penting dalam merawat dan mengembangkan Al Azhar serta mengadopsi pendekatan multikultural dalam sistem pendidikannya. Kata kunci: pendidikan masa Dinasti Fatimiyah, pendidikan masa Dinasti Ayyubiyah, pendidikan masa Dinasti Mamluk
