Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian adalah beberapa siswa kurang memiliki sikap karakter baik itu sikap pendidikan maupun sosial. Hal itu terjadi disebabkan oleh banyaknya film yang tidak mendidik bagi siswa serta ditemukan siswa yang tidak memiliki karakter sosial dan pendidikan dikarenakan tidak ada yang menuntun mereka baik itu di sekolah maupun di rumah. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai sosial dan pendidikan pada film "Toba Dreams" serta relevansi terhadap karakter siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menonton film "Toba Dreams" dan mencatat nilai-nilai sosial dan pendidikan yang terdapat dalam cerita serta melihat bagaimana nilai-nilai tersebut dapat memengaruhi karakter siswa. Adapun nilai sosial yang tekandung adalah nilai kerja sama, disiplin, tanggung jawab, percaya diri, gotong royong, dan toleransi. Adapaun nilai pendidikan karakter yang dinilai adalah religious, jujur, kreatif, mandiri, dan rasa ingin tahu.

Abstract

The issue of this research also focuses on illocutionary acts that can depict social changes and character development in the context of everyday life. As the plot develops in Ketika Cinta Bertasbih by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, we can see changes in the way the characters communicate, influenced by their circumstances, whether in terms of emotions, life decisions, or their relationships with religion and society. The aim is to identify and analyze the types of illocutionary acts used in the novel Ketika Cinta Bertasbih by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. This research uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The data collection methods used were the reading and note-taking methods. The results of this study on the meaning of illocutionary acts consist of: assertive illocutionary acts, directive illocutionary acts, expressive illocutionary acts, commissive illocutionary acts, and declarative illocutionary acts. The analysis of illocutionary acts serves as a guide for interpreting the meanings found in the dialogue of each character in the novel "Ketika Cinta Bertasbih" by Habiburrahman El Shirazy.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service initiative aimed to assist students at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Sultan Iskandar Muda in enhancing their digital competencies, specifically by developing professional Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven marketing websites to showcase their creative outputs. This research addressed the technical programming barriers that frequently hinder vocational students from marketing their work professionally through digital platforms. Methodology: Employing a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest design, this study involved 70 students from grades XI and XII. The intervention consisted of intensive training and hands-on practice in constructing marketing sites using Artificial Intelligence tools. Results: The findings revealed a statistically significant improvement in student comprehension, as evidenced by an increase in the mean scores from 53.5 to 82.8. Furthermore, all participants successfully deployed aesthetic and functional marketing websites. Conclusions: This study demonstrates that AI integration effectively mitigates coding complexities for vocational students, allowing them to prioritize digital business strategies and creative development. Limitations: The constraints identified included limited on-site mentoring duration and suboptimal Internet stability, which impacted cloud-based data synchronization during practical sessions. Contributions: This study provides a strategic reference for vocational institutions to design modern and innovative entrepreneurship curricula aligned with the demands of the digital transformation era.
