Abstract

The Asrah Batin tradition is a form of local culture that has cultural values developed in the continuity of tradition by the people of Ngombak Village, Kedungjati District, Grobogan Regency, so that it can benefit life and has potential in the world of education, namely in learning. The aim of this research is to determine the cultural values in the Asrah Batin tradition and their relevance as a social studies learning resource. This type of research is a qualitative study. With a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources in this research are primary sources and secondary sources. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity technique uses source triangulation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusions. The research results show that the Asrah Batin tradition in Ngombak Village has cultural values that are developed and preserved by the community. These cultural values include: kinship, social, religious, mutual cooperation, unity, cooperation and mutual respect. These cultural values are related to social studies learning, in the main material "Community Empowerment" class VII even semester at the SMP/MTs level. So the Asrah Batin Tradition has relevance as a social studies learning resource.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the aesthetic values of Wayang Klithik in Wonosoco Village, Kudus Regency. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out by conducting field studies in the Wonosoco Village, Kudus Regency. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that the figures and characters played in the Wayang Klithik show have important values in life, as well as the elements and principles of wayang Klithik art which are the aesthetic value of Wayang Klithik itself. Wayang Klithik has essential and important values in supporting public knowledge and as an effort to preserve the art of Wayang Klithik. The aesthetic values contained in wayang klithik also have evil and good values, which can be used to be applied in everyday life or in society. As well as efforts to actualize the elements and principles in the art of Wayang Klithik can be used as material for development in increasing harmony. As well as being able to solve environmental problems and be able to develop various natural potentials in the environment.
