Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) melalui fungsi tari dalam meningkatkan daya analisis peserta didik di SMP Negeri 3 Pallangga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang melibatkan dua siklus pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan daya analisis peserta didik yang signifikan. Pada siklus pertama, rata-rata nilai peserta didik meningkat dari 65 menjadi 72, dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 10,77%. Pada siklus kedua, rata-rata nilai mencapai 85, menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 8,97%. Penerapan PBL yang terintegrasi dengan budaya lokal melalui pembelajaran tari tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan analisis peserta didik tetapi juga membuat pengalaman belajar lebih kontekstual dan relevan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan daya analisis peserta didik serta dapat membantu peserta didik memahami dan menghargai warisan budaya lokal mereka. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal di sekolah-sekolah menengah pertama serta memberikan wawasan baru bagi pendidik dalam merancang kurikulum yang lebih relevan.Kata kunci: Problem Based Learning, fungsi tari, daya analisis.Abstract The aim of this research is to explore the effectiveness of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model through the function of dance in enhancing the analytical skills of students at SMP Negeri 3 Pallangga. This study was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which involved two cycles of learning. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' analytical skills. In the first cycle, the average score of students increased from 65 to 72, with a percentage increase of 10.77%. In the second cycle, the average score reached 85, reflecting an increase of 8.97%. The application of PBL integrated with local culture through dance not only enhances students' analytical abilities but also makes the learning experience more contextual and relevant. This study concludes that PBL is effective in improving students' analytical skills and can help them understand and appreciate their local cultural heritage. It is hoped that the findings of this research can contribute to the development of culturally-based learning methods in junior high schools and provide new insights for educators in designing more relevant curricula.Keywords: Problem based learning, function of dance. analytical power.
