Abstract

Organizing is an essential management function, including the division of tasks, delegation of authority, and coordination between members to achieve common goals. The Qur'an emphasizes the principle of unity and order in the organization, as reflected in Surah As-Shaff verse 4 which describes the importance of lining up in unity. In addition, the principle of cooperation (ta'awun) is also described in Surah Al-Ma'idah verse 2, which emphasizes collaboration in goodness and piety. This research is a library research that focuses on the study of the management function of organizing in the Qur'an, which is examined from the perspective of the Experts of the Interpretation of the Qur'an. Thus, this paper aims to show the relevance of the teachings of the Qur'an in building an effective and ethical organization and how these principles can be applied in the context of modern management..

Abstract

Financial technology (fintech) services in Indonesia are growing rapidly, including sharia fintech that operates based on sharia principles. DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 117/DSN-MUI/IX/2018 is the operational basis for sharia fintech, although the Financial Services Authority (OJK) has not fully integrated it into binding regulations. This study examines sharia compliance in sharia fintech services using library research methods. The results of the study indicate that although sharia fintech has grown, stronger legal instruments are needed so that sharia compliance is implemented comprehensively. The role of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) is very important in ensuring that sharia principles are implemented. However, supervision and legal protection for sharia fintech consumers are still minimal. Therefore, special regulations and strengthening of the DPS function are needed to ensure that sharia fintech truly complies with Islamic legal principles, maintains the existence of fintech, and increases consumer trust.

Abstract

Human resource (HR) development is an important aspect for the sustainability of Islamic missionary institutions. HR planning aims to ensure the availability of competent Islamic missionary personnel in accordance with the organization's needs. Evaluation is necessary to assess the effectiveness of HR performance in achieving Islamic missionary goals. This study uses qualitative methods with a documentary analysis approach. The results of the study indicate that good HR planning includes needs analysis, recruitment, development, and training of HR managers. HR assessment is an important tool for evaluating performance and improving the effectiveness of Islamic missionary activities. However, challenges in HR evaluation include the lack of an objective evaluation system, limited resources, and resistance to change. Wise HR change management can improve the quality of Islamic missionary activities, expand their reach, and increase the effectiveness of Islamic missionary institutions in facing today's challenges. This study recommends the importance of an objective evaluation system, better resource management, and continuous training to improve the competence of HR managers in Islamic missionary institutions.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of Islamic da'wah institutions in Indonesia through social entrepreneurship innovation, focusing on the Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School in Jakarta. The aim is to understand how the Islamic boarding school adapts to socio-economic changes without abandoning its da'wah values. This study uses a library research methodology, referring to Kurt Lewin's (1947) theory of change, which consists of three stages: Unfreezing, Changing, and Refreezing. The findings indicate that during the Unfreezing phase, Darunnajah raises students' awareness of the need to develop traditional da'wah models. During the Changing phase, the Islamic boarding school implements social entrepreneurship innovations through various structures, such as cooperatives, Hajj travel agencies, and agribusiness. Finally, during the Refreezing phase, the values of independence and professionalism are institutionalized within the boarding school's culture. Key factors contributing to its success are visionary leadership, a culture of student autonomy, and alumni support; obstacles encountered include internal resistance and a lack of resources. Overall, Darunnajah has succeeded in becoming an adaptive and productive model of modern da'wah that remains rooted in Islamic values.
