Abstract

The Pari City Waste Bank application utilizes a computerized system in managing waste involving the field of information technology. This shows that information technology has become a supporting part in managing waste management. This waste bank is a village institution that operates in the field of waste processing. Apart from saving and sorting waste, the waste bank also teaches people to process waste into items that are useful and have selling value. A computerized system is needed in waste bank institutions so that performance can improve and the institution can develop better. From the existing problems, the author created a system for transactions and management of the Waste Bank in Pari City using a web-based information system. The results of this web-based Waste Bank application can speed up and make it easier for officers to carry out transactions, process and record customer savings data at the waste bank.

Abstract

Abstract: This research discusses the design of a management information system to support operational efficiency in fertilizer data collection at PT. Buana Estate. This system is designed to overcome manual recording problems which often cause data inaccuracies, information delays and operational process inefficiencies. Using a software-based system development approach, this research includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation and evaluation. The system designed is able to integrate various processes such as recording fertilizer stock, distribution, and real-time usage reports. Evaluation results show that this system increases data accuracy by up to 95% and speeds up the reporting process by up to 40%. Thus, this management information system contributes significantly to supporting the company's operational efficiency, as well as providing a basis for better decision making in resource management. Keywords: Information Systems, Fertilizer Data Collection, Operational Efficiency, PT. Buana Estate. Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas perancangan sistem informasi manajemen untuk mendukung efisiensi operasional dalam pendataan pupuk di PT. Buana Estate. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengatasi permasalahan pencatatan manual yang sering kali menyebabkan ketidaktepatan data, keterlambatan informasi, dan inefisiensi proses operasional. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan pengembangan sistem berbasis perangkat lunak, penelitian ini mencakup analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Sistem yang dirancang mampu mengintegrasikan berbagai proses seperti pencatatan stok pupuk, distribusi, serta laporan penggunaan secara real-time. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini meningkatkan akurasi data hingga 95% dan mempercepat proses pelaporan hingga 40%. Dengan demikian, sistem informasi manajemen ini berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam mendukung efisiensi operasional perusahaan, sekaligus memberikan dasar untuk pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik dalam pengelolaan sumber daya. Kata kunci: Sistem Informasi, Pendataan Pupuk, Efisiensi Operasional, PT.
