Abstract

Time management is crucial in managing complex projects, where many factors interact and can influence the final outcome. This article outlines the importance of effective techniques, tools, planning, and scheduling in creating a framework that can guide teams to achieve project goals with maximum efficiency. By planning carefully and using tools like Gantt Charts and project management software, teams can visualize progress, identify critical paths, and optimize resource use. Additionally, this article highlights the role of team engagement and communication in maintaining motivation and shared understanding among team members. High engagement contributes to better collaboration, while clear communication helps reduce confusion and speed up decision-making. Furthermore, dealing with risk and uncertainty are challenges that often hinder the progress of projects. With a proactive approach to analyzing and responding to risks and implementing adaptive methods, teams can increase project resilience. Finally, evaluation and learning from each project provide an opportunity for in-depth analysis of time performance and resource management. Organizations can continually improve their time management practices by documenting findings and applying the knowledge gained to future projects. Overall, effective time management ensures timely project completion and improves the quality of the end result and stakeholder satisfaction, making it the key to success in managing complex projects.

Abstract

Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in Human Resource Management (HRM) is increasingly important in various industries to increase employee engagement and productivity. However, the impact of AI in HRM varies based on the specific characteristics of each industry, such as technology, manufacturing, services, and healthcare, demanding a targeted approach. This research aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the role of AI in increasing employee engagement and productivity through a systematic literature review that examines research methods, industry distribution, and contextual factors that influence the effectiveness of AI in HRM. Using PRISMA methodology, a number of studies that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected for analysis. The research results show that AI has a positive impact on employee engagement and productivity, but the impact varies across industries, influenced by organizational culture, skills requirements, and ethical and legal regulations. These findings provide guidance for HRM practitioners in effectively adopting AI according to the unique needs of each sector.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the legal consequences of passing off in industrial design disputes with a case study of Court Decision Number 78/Pdt.Sus HKI/Desain Industri/2022/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst regarding suitcase generator products. Passing off is understood as the act of imitating or copying an industrial design legally owned by another party with the intention of obtaining unlawful profits through consumer confusion. The research method used is normative juridical, analysing relevant legislation, legal doctrine, and court decisions. The results of the study show that passing off has significant legal implications in the civil, administrative, and economic spheres. From a civil perspective, the defendant is required to stop the distribution of counterfeit products and may be liable for damages. From an administrative perspective, court decisions reinforce the exclusive rights of industrial design owners as a form of state protection. Meanwhile, from an economic and reputational perspective, design owners obtain compensation for material and immaterial losses caused by counterfeit products. These decisions also have a preventive effect on other businesses to respect the intellectual property rights of others. This study emphasises the importance of legal protection for industrial designs as an effort to maintain a healthy business climate, encourage creativity, and provide legal certainty for rights holders. However, the effectiveness of legal protection still faces challenges, particularly in relation to rampant violations even though the designs have been registered. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen law enforcement and increase business actors' legal awareness so that the protection of industrial designs in Indonesia can be optimised.
