Abstract

Ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai merupakan faktor penting dalam menunjang kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar. Namun, masih banyak sekolah, termasuk SDN Keleyan 1, yang mengalami kekurangan sarana dan prasarana. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kekurangan sarana dan prasarana di SDN Keleyan 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan guru SDN Keleyan 1. Analisis deskriptif kualitatif dilakukan setelah pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurangnya sarana dan prasarana di SDN Keleyan 1 disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain: (1) keterbatasan anggaran sekolah, (2) prioritas pembangunan yang belum optimal, (3) kerusakan sarana prasarana yang tidak segera diperbaiki. Kurangnya sarana dan prasarana di SDN Keleyan 1 merupakan masalah yang harus segera diatasi. Semua orang, termasuk guru dan kepala sekolah, harus bekerja sama untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Solusi yang dapat dilakukan antara lain dengan meningkatkan anggaran sekolah, memperbaiki sistem perencanaan dan penganggaran, serta melakukan pemeliharaan sarana prasarana secara rutin.

Abstract

The PBL model is used as a learning approach that encourages students to be actively involved in solving problems that are relevant to real contexts both individually and in groups. The implementation of this research involves the stages of initial planning, implementation, observation, reflection, and preparation of revised plans. This study was conducted involving 25 class 3B students at Keleyan 2 Elementary School as the research sample. Learning outcome data is collected through initial and final tests, as well as observations of student participation during the learning process. The research results showed that there was a significant increase in the learning outcomes of class 3B students at SDN Keleyan 2 after implementing the PBL method. Students show increased understanding of concepts, problem solving abilities, and active involvement in the learning process. It was found that there was a significant increase in the level of learning completion which increased from cycle I (61.2%) and increased in cycle II by (88%). So it can be concluded that the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model really improves student learning outcomes in multiplication and division material. Recommendations or suggestions are given to further integrate the PBL model in classroom learning, especially in multiplication and division material in order to strengthen students' conceptual understanding and increase their involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR)-based instructional media in enhancing students' understanding of science, particularly on the topic of the respiratory system, among fifth-grade students at State Elementary School Barurambat Kota 1 Pamekasan. The research was motivated by students' difficulties in grasping the structure and function of respiratory organs due to the limitations of conventional two-dimensional learning media. The study employed a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest model. The sample consisted of 25 students. A validated multiple-choice test was used as the research instrument. Data analysis involved the use of N-Gain calculations and a paired sample t-test with the assistance of SPSS software.The results indicated an average N-Gain score of 0.3337, which falls into the moderate category, suggesting a measurable improvement in students’ learning outcomes following the implementation of AR media. Furthermore, the paired t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. The students' average score increased from 58.40 to 75.00 after the intervention. These findings suggest that AR-based learning media positively contribute to conceptual understanding by offering interactive 3D visualizations, making the learning process more engaging and meaningful. This aligns with the principles of 21st-century learning, which emphasize student-centered approaches and the integration of technology to foster contextual and immersive learning experiences
