Abstract

Information Technology is a technology used to manage Data, including processing, obtaining, compiling, storing, and manipulating data in various ways to produce quality information, namely relevant, accurate, and timely information; the development of Information Technology continues at a rapid pace, and its impact is felt in almost all aspects of our lives. These changes affect how we work, learn, play, and communicate, and they continue to open the door to innovations and greater changes in the future. This study aims to develop a more practical, innovative door lock system through voice recognition technology. Using Arduino Uno as the main microcontroller, this system can automatically recognize specific voice commands to operate the door lock. Integrating hardware and software allows users to control the door lock simply by saying pre-programmed command words. The results of the study indicate that this system has the potential to be a more user-friendly alternative compared to conventional lock systems. Furthermore, this system can be further developed by adding additional security features such as biometric verification or integration with smart home systems.

Abstract

Sepeda listrik menjadi salah satu inovasi dalam dunia transportasi yang menggabungkan antara sepeda konvensional dengan motor listrik sebagai tenaga tambahan saat berkendara. Dalam teknologi ini menawarkan solusi mobilitas yang ramah lingkungan, hemat energi, dan efisien, sehingga dapat berkontribusi pada pengurangan emisi karbon serta ketergantungan terhadap bahan bakar fosil. Sepeda listrik memberikan fleksibilitas penggunaan dengan tiga mode berkendara utama: pengayuhan manual, penggerak listrik, atau kombinasi keduanya, sehingga dapat menyesuaikan kebutuhan pengguna. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, permintaan dan penggunaan sepeda listrik meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya mobilitas berkelanjutan. Hal ini tidak hanya mendorong pertumbuhan pasar sepeda listrik, tetapi juga memperkuat peran teknologi hijau dalam menghadapi tantangan global terkait perubahan iklim dan polusi udara. Pengabdian ini mengeksplorasi manfaat, potensi, serta tantangan dalam pengembangan sepeda listrik di tengah masyarakat, termasuk dukungan infrastruktur. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan penerapan yang tepat, sepeda listrik dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk mengurangi emisi dan transportasi yang lebih efisien.

Abstract

Poultry farming, especially chicken, contributes to the provision of world food needs, especially in the provision of chicken meat and eggs to fulfill human protein. However, the productivity of chicken farming is often hampered by traditional egg hatching methods. Egg hatching is traditionally done by the mother hen, which affects the number and quality of chicks produced. The purpose of this research is to increase the productivity of chicken farms which are often hampered by traditional methods of hatching chickens, by applying IoT (Internet of Things) Technology as a solution to more modern egg hatching methods using DHT11 sensors and Lcd 16x2 i2c as temperature and humidity monitoring. It shows that DHT1 is able to maintain temperature in the optimal range of 37°C-39°C with an average difference between DHT11 and thermometer of only 0.3°C - 0.4°C, and humidity that remains stable at a difference of 3% - 4%. The results of this study indicate that the DHT11 is accurate enough to measure air temperature in a stable environment.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mengubah lingkungan bisnis secara total. Transformasi digital mempengaruhi berbagai sektor, mendorong inovasi baru dalam bisnis. Teknologi informasi memfasilitasi penciptaan, penyimpanan, dan distribusi informasi. Dengan data, berbagai aktivitas seperti pengelolaan, pengolahan, dan transformasi data menjadi informasi yang berkualitas dapat dilakukan. Persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat dan perkembangan teknologi memerlukan perubahan untuk mencapai tujuan, sekaligus menghadapi tantangan yang ada. Perilaku konsumen juga menjadi faktor penting yang mempengaruhi persaingan bisnis digital. Inovasi teknologi menjadi kunci dalam pengembangan bisnis, dengan menciptakan solusi digital yang menarik dan efisien, seperti aplikasi atau website yang digunakan oleh perusahaan besar untuk meningkatkan layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang aplikasi layanan kasir dan booking menggunakan Framework CodeIgniter untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan di Bengkel Ali Palembang. Dengan mengidentifikasi permasalahan seperti pencatatan transaksi manual dan customer backlog yang membuat pelanggan menunggu lama, penelitian ini menawarkan solusi berupa sistem yang lebih terstruktur. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Metode Waterfall yang digunakan sebagai kerangka tahap perencanaan, pengembangan dan implementasi sistem. Penelitian ini dibatasi oleh penggunaan Framework CodeIgniter dan fokus pada transaksi kasir dan layanan pemesanan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menciptakan suatu sistem yang dapat menunjang transaksi dan memudahkan pemilik bengkel dan konsumen. Manfaatnya antara lain meningkatkan efisiensi layanan transaksi dan mengurangi kerugian akibat kesalahan penetapan harga. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan efektivitas bisnis pada Bengkel Ali Palembang.

Abstract

Based on the results of data obtained from the Palembang city tourism office, activities providing information about tourism are not running optimally in reaching prospective domestic and foreign tourists because activities for conveying information about the attractiveness of tourist attractions through brochures, newspapers, and other print media, as well as events being held, are still ongoing. is temporary; in other words, the delivery of information has not become a routine activity by the Palembang City Culture and Tourism Office. Apart from that, the lack of information related to tourist attractions in Palembang can make it difficult for tourists to determine destinations and travel plans because descriptions of areas or tourist attractions, such as visualization of places and distances between one location and another, are unavailable. Therefore, tourists waste time looking for tourist attractions to visit. This research aims to develop a Digital Tourism Map application in Palembang City which is presented with Augmented Reality in the form of 3D Objects using the Markerless Method so that it can make it easier for local and outside tourists in the Palembang City Area to get to know the tourist attractions in Palembang City. One method currently being developed is the Markerless method; with this method, users no longer need to print a marker to display digital elements

Abstract

The use of computer networks for decades has been used to connect business processes in companies, universities, between cities, or between regions. Initially, computer networks used cables to connect, but slowly this changed towards the use of wireless networks. The application of wireless networks can have a significant impact in the process of change that can allow people to expand their work scope because it is not related to cables. M. Setiawan Hidayat (2009) explains that there are many real benefits from the use of wireless networks, especially those related to problems found in wired networks. One of the benefits of using wireless networks is the relative absence of distance limitations. Usually, cables must be installed following the shape of walls, crossing floors, and so on. This research method uses the Network Development Life Cycle (NDCL) method to design a network using an access point configuration that can facilitate data transmission and speed up a connection, and the access point can connect a local network with a wireless network. Wireless networks eliminate this problem because they are line-of-sight. Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) are used to reach LAN areas that are difficult to reach with cables and also to reach mobile users. They can eliminate or even eliminate the use of cables, which can be quite disruptive in the complex installation of connecting more than one computer or mobile user.

Abstract

Digitalization has become a crucial element in supporting the development of local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in facing the challenges of the globalization era. PALI Regency, with its diverse culinary traditions and potential for local MSMEs, requires digital-based promotional innovations to increase competitiveness and expand its market. This study aims to develop a web-based promotional system for local MSMEs and traditional foods by applying the Waterfall software development method. This method involves the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance, which are applied sequentially to ensure optimal results. The needs analysis stage is carried out by identifying user needs through surveys and interviews with MSMEs, as well as literature analysis. The system design focuses on user experience (UX) to facilitate user access to display products and related information. During the implementation stage, the system was built using modern web technology that supports responsiveness and speed of access. Testing was conducted to ensure all features function properly, followed by user evaluation to obtain constructive feedback. The results show that this web-based platform can significantly increase the visibility of PALI local products. This system makes it easier for consumers to access product information and conduct online transactions. With promising results, further development is proposed to add features such as digital payment integration and analytics-based sales data reporting. This study concludes that utilizing web-based digitalization through a waterfall approach can be an effective solution for promoting local specialty foods and MSMEs, while simultaneously supporting sustainable regional economic growth

Abstract

This study aims to develop an e-book on the theme of Indonesian National Heroes in the spotlight of history, utilizing the Android Studio platform as a technology-based learning medium. This e-book is designed to provide an interactive, informative, and easily accessible learning experience for students and the general public. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), which adapts the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. In the analysis stage, user needs related to historical materials and supporting technology were identified. The design stage involved creating a storyboard and e-book layout to ensure the content presented was in line with the curriculum and visually appealing. Development was carried out by utilizing Android Studio features, such as multimedia integration (text, images, videos) to enhance user understanding. A limited trial was conducted on high school students, followed by an evaluation to measure the application's effectiveness and appeal. The results showed that this e-book successfully met the needs of digital-based learning and received a positive response from users. This e-book was considered easy to use, informative, and capable of increasing interest in learning history, particularly about the important role of national heroes in the Indonesian struggle. Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has transformed the business landscape, including the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector. Digital technology opens up significant opportunities for MSMEs to increase their competitiveness through broader and more efficient promotion and marketing. However, in Ogan Baru Village, Palembang City, MSMEs still face challenges in optimally utilizing this technology, particularly due to limited access to promotions. This research aims to develop a digital-based information system designed to promote MSME products while addressing the need for easy-to-use and affordable technology solutions. The research method used a waterfall-based systems development approach, encompassing the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. Primary data was collected through interviews with MSMEs in Ogan Baru Village, while secondary data was obtained from relevant literature. The developed system is an interactive digital platform that enables MSMEs to publish products, manage business information, and utilize analytical features to evaluate marketing strategies. The results indicate that this information system is effective in increasing the visibility and efficiency of MSME promotions. Testing revealed that 85% of users felt that the platform significantly improved market access and reduced promotional costs compared to traditional methods. This system also facilitates the management of product information in real time. In conclusion, the development of a digital-based information system provides a relevant and sustainable solution for MSMEs in facing the challenges of the digital era. This research makes a significant contribution to MSME digitalization strategies and serves as a model for implementation in other regions. Further development is recommended for the integration of additional features such as online payments and personalized promotions based on customer data

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi, khususnya Internet of Things (IoT), telah memberikan dampak signifikan dalam berbagai sektor kehidupan, termasuk bidang pertanian modern. Salah satu implementasi inovatifnya adalah pengembangan alat penyiraman tanaman otomatis berbasis Arduino yang dirancang untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan air serta meningkatkan efisiensi perawatan tanaman. Sistem ini memanfaatkan sensor kelembaban tanah (Soil Moisture Sensor) yang bekerja dengan mendeteksi kadar air melalui pengukuran resistansi listrik pada media tanam. Ketika sensor membaca bahwa tingkat kelembaban menurun di bawah ambang batas yang ditentukan, sinyal otomatis dikirimkan ke mikrokontroler Arduino untuk mengaktifkan pompa air. Pompa kemudian melakukan penyiraman hingga kelembaban tanah kembali mencapai kondisi ideal, setelah itu sistem mematikan pompa secara mandiri.Selain fungsi penyiraman otomatis, perangkat ini juga dilengkapi dengan tampilan LCD yang menyajikan informasi kelembaban tanah secara real-time. Fitur ini memudahkan pengguna dalam memantau kondisi tanaman tanpa perlu melakukan pengecekan manual, sehingga sangat cocok digunakan pada tanaman indoor atau area yang sulit dijangkau. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe alat ini mampu menjaga kestabilan kelembaban tanah secara efektif, mengurangi risiko overwatering maupun underwatering, serta membantu penghematan energi. Inovasi ini mendukung konsep pertanian urban (urban farming) dan memberikan solusi otomatis, ramah lingkungan, serta praktis bagi masyarakat modern yang ingin menerapkan praktik pertanian berkelanjutan.
