Abstract

The rapid development and advancement of technology today into human activities become lighter and easier. But the ease can be felt when a person can be literate about technology and make maximum use of technology. This research was conducted in order to utilize and implement technological developments to facilitate the work to be more effective. This study was conducted in the form of making software-based technology or digital applications that are installed on mobile computing devices. This Software will assist an aircraft passenger in submitting complaints such as damage or discomfort conditions related to facilities at the airport in real time. The main target of this study is passenger aircraft, because the comfort of passengers is a representative form of the quality of an airport.

Abstract

Cooling tower adalah komponen utama dalam sistem AC sentral yang mendukung pengondisian udara di terminal bandar udara. Proses pengecekan kinerja cooling tower saat ini masih manual dan tidak efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem monitoring berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang memantau kecepatan putaran fan dan suhu air basin bawah secara real-time dari jarak jauh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RnD) dengan tahap perancangan dan implementasi sistem IoT. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan pihak pemeliharaan fasilitas mekanikal, ditemukan bahwa monitoring saat ini masih manual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa monitoring secara real-time memungkinkan teknisi dapat segera mengambil tindakan yang tepat jika terjadi penurunan kinerja cooling tower. Kesimpulannya, sistem monitoring berbasis IoT ini dapat menjaga performa cooling tower sehingga suhu di terminal terjaga dan penumpang merasa nyaman
