Abstract

The management of earnings or Earnings Management defined as management activities for adjusting earnings according to specific objectives. Therefore, empirical evidence showing the impact of Institutional and managerial Ownership, intellectual capital, audit quality on income management is necessary. 14 transportation companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange were surveyed in accordance with the research criteria. A purposeful sampling method collected data. The SPSS 23 application tests the multiple linear regression hypothesis. Of the variables used in this study, only intellectual capital has a positive impact on profit management and can be used as one of the indicators in future research to measure income management actions.

Abstract

The spread of covid-19 in Indonesia requires all Cadets on campus under the Ministry of Transportation in Indonesia to be conducted online. Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug is one of the schools under the Ministry of Transportation that applies in the Covid-19 epidemic to online learning through the Zoom application. Zoom.us provides a version of Zoom Education as a form of CSR provided to schools affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Online learning's effectiveness is very important, so cadets understand the lessons during the Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM). This study aims to understand how effective online learning is conducted at Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug using the Zoom application. This research uses a qualitative research method and data collection techniques by conducting interview techniques. This research resulted in online learning conducted with a zoom application at Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug. Online learning got an excellent response from cadets because it offered greater flexibility in their studies. Online learning makes cadets more independent but also encourages cadets more active when learning. In addition, acceptance and the understanding delivered by lecturers can be felt by the Cadets at Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug. But this online learning system also has weaknesses: limited cadets quota, which causes not all cadets to go online by activating the video so that lecturers cannot see all activities carried out by cadets.

Abstract

The chassis is part of the vehicle and requires a strong structure and structure to withstand loads. This part also has the function of maintaining rigidity so that the vehicle does not bend. Damage that commonly appears in Chassis Crash Car X is cracks and corrosion. This study aims to analyze the presence of cracks and corrosion in the chassis of his ARFF crash car type 1 X vehicle at Juanda Surabaya International Airport. The researchers also examined the chassis of the ARFF crash car-analyzing another type of Type 1 vehicle, namely the ARFF crash car Type 1 Y and Z. This study uses qualitative research methods to determine the chassis characteristics of a Type 1 ARFF crash car in service at Juanda Surabaya International Airport. Data analysis using FEM using the Solidworks application determines the values of von Mises stress and chassis displacement versus load and uses calculations to determine the corrosion rate. From the analysis results, the von Mises stress value was close to the yield point value of the material used, the displacement value was the highest, and it had the shortest life. Apart from that, it can be concluded that one of the causes of cracking and corrosion is due to the use of double frames, thus the presence of air gaps as a cause of corrosion formation. Chassis merupakan salah satu bagian kendaraan yang harus memiliki susunan dan konstruksi kuat untuk menahan beban. Bagian ini juga memiliki fungsi untuk menjaga kendaraan agar tetap rigid dan tidak mengalami bending. Kerusakan yang umumnya dialami oleh chassis crash car X adalah crack dan korosi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisa terhadap adanya crack dan korosi pada Chassis kendaraan ARFF Crash Car Tipe 1 X yang dimiliki Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda-Surabaya, di samping itu peneliti juga akan melakukan analisa Chassis kendaraan ARFF Crash Car Tipe 1 untuk jenis yang lain yaitu ARFF Crash Car Tipe 1 Y dan Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif untuk mengetahui karakteristik dari chassis dari ARFF Crash Car Tipe 1 yang digunakan Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda-Surabaya. Pada proses analisa data menggunakan FEM dengan bantuan aplikasi solidworks untuk mengetahui nilai von mises stress dan displacement chassis terhadap beban dan menggunakan perhitungan untuk mengetahui laju korosi. Dari hasil analisa diperoleh hasil chassis merk X memiliki konstruksi yang paling kurang baik dibandingkan chassis Y dan Z, dikarenakan nilai Von mises stress mendekati nilai yield strength  material yang digunakan,  memiliki nilai Displacement yang paling besar dan umur yang paling pendek. Selain itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa salah satu penyebab adanya crack dan korosi karena penggunaan double frame, sehingga ada celah udara sebagai penyebab terbentuknya korosi.

Abstract

The inadequate information among high school students towards the airport mechanical engineering (TMB) has urged the need to publicize TMB more extensively. One of the endeavors is to conduct activities introducing the clean water distribution system at the airport as an implementation of one of the competencies of the TMB, namely the Water Pumping System. The purpose of this activity is not only to attract the interest of participants to continue their education at PPI Curug, especially in the TMB but also to provide basic knowledge about clean water distribution. This activity was attended by students from SMK Penerbangan Dirgantara along with companion teachers. The activity was conducted using two methods: delivering the material in the classroom, followed by practical exercises in the Water Pumping System laboratory. The participants were then evaluated during working on a simulation project of clean water distribution. Through this community service activity, participants gained not only knowledge and information about the TMB and its competencies but also acquired knowledge and skills related to the clean water distribution system. They had the opportunity to directly practice and experience the clean water distribution system and the piping system.

Abstract

An escalator is one of the upward and downward lifting devices consisting of separate steps that can run a long path like a rail or chain driven by a machine. The benefits of escalators are considerable, for example, it can move a lot of people and do not hold a time span, especially during congested hours. Therefore,damage to the escalator is quite disruptive to the comfort of passengers. One important part of the escalator that is quite vulnerable to damage is the footstep. Footstep that serves as a place for passengers to stand and step on. When the author made direct observations, several problems were found in the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Train Station escalator unit. The problem is that the step runs unbalanced, the comb is broken and there is a sound of collision between steps. Based on research to determine the cause of damage to the escalator step and comb unit, it was concluded that there was a collision between the step and the comb on the escalator at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Train Station, which reduced the performance of the escalator because there were indications in the form of broken roller chain, broken rail/track where the roller chain runs, not straight roller connecting plate on the roller chain, then there are different settings between the left and right roller chains, finally the lack of the connecting chain between the gearbox and the drive wheel.

Abstract

Air Conditioning (AC) Standing Floor is a type of cooler whose use is notaffixed to residential walls but placed on the floor. Air Conditioner (AC)is one type of electronic device that consumes quite a lot of time for therepair and maintenance process. Air Conditioning (AC) Standing Floorneeds to be maintained at a comfort level as a necessity for the comfort ofa room. AC component maintenance can make it last longer and the coldit produces is as needed. In order to have a long lifetime and reduce thecost of damage that occurs if there is no consistency in maintenance.Examination is carried out using an anemometer and stroboscope. Thepurpose of maintenance on the air conditioner is to smooth so that thereare no obstructions between the evaporator fins.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the causes of the distance between steps abnormality on the Boarding Lounge Gate E3 Terminal 2 escalator at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and to find out the steps that must be implemented in overcoming this problem. The research methodology used is a qualitative method in which the author collects data through field research (field research) of the object under study to obtain the required data. Data collection techniques using 3 methods, namely: observation method, interview method, and documentation method. The results of this study were found to be abnormal conditions in the step distance on the escalator Boarding Lounge Gate E3 Terminal 2. Based on the Elevator and Escalator Test Module of The Public Works Department the normal step distance is 4-5 mm. Meanwhile, based on case studies in the field, the results were 7.93 and 13.79 mm.

Abstract

Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Cengkareng has an automatic sliding door as supporting equipment for public facilities located in terminals and non-terminals. In the automatic sliding door located in the terminal 2 kalayang shelter, experiencing a slow motion system. It can be seen when there is an object / object passing through the automatic sliding door, what happens to the automatic sliding door itself experiences slow movement when opening and closing, it is feared that the object / object that passes through can be pinched by the automatic sliding door. Therefore it is necessary to find what causes the motion system to experience slow movement when opening and closing the automatic sliding door, so that the automatic sliding door can be operated normally without disturbing the comfort and safety of passengers. Factors that are indicative of the automatic sliding door are caused by mechanical factors. In mechanical factors there are, roller hanger that has been worn, v-belt that has eroded / changed shape, and glass leaves that are not symmetrical

Abstract

Latar belakang kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat tentang Sosialisasi Penggunaan Kalimat Efektif di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Penerbangan Dirghantara ialah pentingnya penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia yang sesuai kaidah Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI). Penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia sesuai kaidah tersebut terutama saat siswa membuat karya ilmiah. Kelas 11 SMK Penerbangan Dirghantara  akan mengikuti praktik kerja lapangan dengan hasil luaran membuat laporan. Kemudian dari laporan PKL terdahulu ditemukan banyak kesalahan terutama menyangkut penggunaan ejaan dalam penulisan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah membekali siswa dengan pengetahuan terkait ejaan dalam pembuatan laporan sehingga  mengurangi kesalahan penulisan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah metode ceramah. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat terlaksana dengan lancar. Kegiatan diawali dengan memberikan evaluasi untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman terkait materi yang diberikan. Di akhir sesi pelaksanaan kegiatan juga dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan. Penyampaian materi dilakukan dalam tiga tahap. Sesi pertama penyampaian materi terkait tanda baca, huruf kapital, tanda baca, penulisan gelar, penulisan teks dan bilangan, penulisan imbuhan, dan kata depan. Sesi kedua yaitu penyampaian materi terkait kata baku, nasalisasi kata, gabungan kata, Sesi ketiga penyampaian materi tentang pembentukan serta ketentuan-ketentuan kalimat efektif. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah adanya peningkatan kemampuan peserta dibandingkan sebelum mendapat materi.

Abstract

Gedung Tower AirNav Unit Alor merupakan fasilitas vital yang mendukung navigasi penerbangan di wilayah Alor. Keandalan pasokan listrik sangat krusial untuk memastikan keselamatan dan efisiensi operasional, mengingat peralatan navigasi udara sangat bergantung pada suplai listrik yang stabil. Saat ini, catu daya cadangan yang tersedia hanya mampu bertahan dalam waktu yang sangat terbatas, sehingga meningkatkan risiko gangguan operasional.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem catu daya cadangan dengan menggunakan generator set (genset) yang sesuai dengan standar Annex 14, dan PUIL 2011. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) level satu, yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan daya, pemilihan spesifikasi genset, desain sistem peralihan daya otomatis menggunakan Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) dan Automatic Main Failure (AMF), serta estimasi Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB) Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas genset optimal yang dibutuhkan adalah 20 kVA dengan pemakaian maksimal 16 kVA. Sistem ini juga dilengkapi dengan perlindungan MCCB 40 A, kabel NYY 4 × 6 mm², serta tangki bahan bakar berkapasitas 700–1000 liter untuk mendukung operasional selama 7 hari dalam kondisi darurat.Dengan rancangan ini, diharapkan Gedung Tower AirNav Unit Alor memiliki sistem catu daya cadangan yang andal, mampu memastikan operasional navigasi udara tetap berjalan meskipun terjadi pemadaman listrik utama.
