Abstract

This article discusses the influence of the use of audio-visual media on language creativity in writing folk tales in students. The research method used is the true experimental method with a post-test only control design. The data collection technique used is a test in the form of subjective questions in the form of short questions that are realized in the test sheet instrument. The findings of the study are known in the normality test obtained values for the experimental class and the control class are normally distributed (0.304> 0.05 experimental class and control class 0.107> 0.05). The results of the hypothesis test obtained the results that the calculated value of sig = 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that audio-visual media can develop students' language creativity in learning to write folk tales.Keywords: audio visual; folklore; language creativity Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual terhadap kreativitas berbahasa menulis cerita rakyat pada peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode true exsperimental dengan desain postest only control design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes berupa soal subjektik berbentuk pertanyaan singkat yang diwujudkan dalam instrumen lembar tes. Temuan penelitian diketahui dalam uji normalitas  diperoleh nilai untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berdistribusi normal (0,304 > 0,05 kelas eksperiman dan kelas kontrol 0,107 > 0.05).  Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai hitung sig= 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media audio visual dapat mengembangkan kreativitas berbahasa peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menulis cerita rakyat.Katakunci: audio visual; cerita rakyat; kreativitas bahasa

Abstract

This study discusses the students’ mastery of Indonesian spelling, the description of the use of spelling in students’ writing results, and the correlation between the two. The research method is a descriptive method used to systematically and accurately explain facts about an object under study on these three topics. The test is used as a data collection technique that is needed with the test sheet instrument in the form of objective tests and subjective tests tested on students. The results showed that: (1) Based on the average value of a sample of 41 students, 28 students, or more than half (68%) were sufficient to master standard Indonesian spelling, while the remaining 13 students or less than half (32%) were less mastering standard Indonesian spelling; (2) A total of 21 (twenty-one) students or more than half (51%) were stated to have good writing results based on spelling aspects, while the remaining 20 (twenty) students or less than half (49%) were stated to have written results not good seen based on the spelling aspect; and (3) Obtained r count price = -0.050 while r price of product-moment table for a significant level of 5% = 0.308 and significant level of 1% = 0.396 at n = 41. Based on the calculation, results show the price of r count (-0.050) is smaller than the price of r table, both for a significant level of 5% (-0.050 0.308) and for a significant level of 1% (-0.050 0.396). It can be concluded that there is no correlation or relationship. Keywords: Correlation; Indonesian spelling; writing results.

Abstract

Salah satu keterampilan berbahasa yang dibutuhkan oleh siswa adalah kemampuan menulis. Namun umumnya kegiatan menulis masih menjadi sesuatu yang kurang diminati siswa, terutama dalam kaitannya dengan menulis teks biografi. Hal itu membuat siswa kesulitan menulis teks biografi sesuai dengan struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan dan akhirnya siswa belum benar-benar mampu menulis teks biografi. Padahal kemampuan menulis teks biografi sangat dibutuhkan untuk terampil menulis sekaligus memahami dan menghargai sejarah hidup seseorang sambil mengambil hikmah darinya. Maka dari itu, kajian ini hadir untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Kajian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap struktur teks biografi setelah adanya penggunaan model PBL berbantuan media strip story dalam pembelajaran. Rumusan masalahnya ialah bagaimanakah peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap struktur teks biografi setelah penggunaan model dan media tersebut? Metode eksperimen berjenis Pre-experimental design dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Melalui random sampling diperoleh sampel kelas X MPLB 3 dan kelas X AKL 2 dengan total 64 siswa. Teknik tes dengan instrumen lembar tes pun digunakan. Hasil uji Wilcoxon terhadap hipotesis diperoleh nilai Asym. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan keputusan bahwa Ha diterima sedangkan H0 ditolak. Itu artinya model problem based learning berbantuan media strip story dapat meningkatkan pemahaman struktur teks biografi siswa. Hasil uji N-Gain skor menunjukkan mean 0,8 > 0,7 berkategori tinggi dengan N-Gain persen 83% berkategori efektif. Maka, disimpulkan penggunaan model PBL berbantuan media strip story sangat efektif meningkatkan pemahaman struktur teks biografi siswa sehingga model dan media pembelajaran tersebut dapat digunakan di dalam pembelajaran memahami struktur teks biografi.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the improvement of learning outcomes in writing descriptive poetry using the inshot application based on local wisdom in students. The research was conducted at MAN 2 Cianjur on April 14, 2025 - April 28, 2025. The population taken was all class X students at MAN 2 Cianjur, totaling 311 students with a sample class X1 for the experimental group consisted of 29 students and class X5 for the control group consisted of 29 students. All were taken by random sampling. The instrument used was a test sheet with data analysis that began with the creation of scoring guidelines, calculating DSS and DSK, and calculating the average value which was then ended with statistical analysis through SPSS for hypothesis testing and N-Gain testing to determine the increase in learning outcomes. The findings were obtained in the form of a significant increase in the average value in the post-test of the experimental class with an average value of 95 with a Classical Absorption Power (DSK) of 97% when compared to the average value in the post-test of the control class which only got an average value of 58 with a Classical Absorption Power (DSK) of 0%. In the results of the hypothesis test through the Man-Whitney data test, the Asymp.sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 significance level, then H0 was rejected while H1 was accepted which was supported by the results of the N-Gain test of the post-test of the experimental class with an averageN-GainThe score of 0.8963 is in the high category compared to the control class post-test which was only 0.5883 in the medium category, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the form of increased student learning outcomes in writing descriptive poetry using the local wisdom-based inshot application.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of students’ abilities in writing romantic poetry and students’ responses to learning to write romantic poetry.. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Cianjur in April 2025. The class X students who were used as the research population were 434 students with a research sample of 35 students. Experimental methodone group pretest posttest designwith the data collection technique used is a test technique in the form of a test sheet and a non-test technique in the form of a questionnaire sheet. The data analysis tool used is the use of the SPSS application to process test result data and matrix tabulation to present student response questionnaire data. The findings obtained that the average class value in the pretest was 73 with a Classical Absorption Capacity (DSK) of 60% with a sufficient increase category while the average class value in the posttest was 96 with a DSK of 94% with a very good increase category. In this study, a Wilcoxon hypothesis test was carried out because the sample data was not normally distributed with the results of the hypothesis test obtained an Asymp.Sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, then H0 was rejected, H1 was accepted which means that learning usingscramble textPjBL-based learning can improve students’ ability in writing romantic poetry with the results of the N-Gain test obtaining an average score of 0.8805 in the high category with a percentage of 88% in the effective category, which means that the mediascramble textThe PjBL model is effectively used in learning to write romantic poetry. The overall student response, both to the media and the learning model used, showed a positive response, meaning that students liked, enjoyed, and found it easy for them to create/write romantic poetry.
