Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan hubungan persepsi peran gender dengan motivasi berprestasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif berupa survei di salah satu SMA di Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 715 siswa. Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel yaitu 392 siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan kolerasi tau kendall b. Hasil penelitian tidak terdapat hubungan yang positif antara persepsi peran gender dengan motivasi berprestasi siswa. Nilai p value atau signifikasi sebesar 0,162 menunjukkan bahwa hubungan kedua variabel tersebut tidak signifikan, karena p value 0,162 > α -0,071 pada taraf signifikasi 99% (0,01). Hal tersebut dapat terjadi karena peran sosialisasi di sekolah memperlakukan semua siswa sama tanpa memandang persepsi peran gender, sehingga siswa tertanam kesetaraan gender bahwa setiap siswa memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk berprestasi.

Abstract

The development of the globalization era has caused many changes, one of which is the increasingly sophisticated technology. Social media is a phenomenon as a result of technological advancement. It can be accessed by all groups, including teenagers. The growing level of social media use among teenagers can affect various aspects of their lives, including academic and non-academic achievement motivation. This study aims to find out the relationship between social media access and student achievement motivation. This study uses a quantitative method in the form of a survey. Data was obtained through questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique uses Kendall’s correlation. The results of the study show a positive relationship between social media access and student achievement motivation. The p value or significance of 0.002 indicates that there is a substance relationship between the two variables because the p-value is 0.002 <α 0.05 at a significance level of 99% (0.01). Social media is a factor that influences motivation for student achievement. This can happen because of imitation behavior towards positive content on the accounts they follow regarding achievements. Social media helps students to get learning materials and makes it easier to get information about competitions.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Fesyen berkaitan dengan gaya bahasa, perilaku, dan hobi terhadap model pakaian tertentu. Kecenderungan seseorang ketika selalu memperbarui model fesyen yang dikenakan dapat memengaruhi gaya hidup. Gaya hidup seseorang mencakup sekumpulan aktivitas, kebiasaan, dan pola respon terhadap pakaian yang dapat merefleksikan status sosialnya. Ketergantungan terhadap model pakaian tertentu dapat menjadikan kebutuhan bukan lagi prioritas, namun hanya sebagai pelengkap dari gaya hidup. Tindakan membeli produk pakaian secara berlebihan merupakan perilaku konsumtif. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis hubungan antara gaya hidup dengan perilaku konsumtif fesyen Mahasiswa FISIP Unsoed. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada responden. Data akan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi dan tabel silang, kemudian dianalisis dengan Korelasi Tau Kendall. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan mengenai analisis hubungan gaya hidup dengan perilaku konsumtif fesyen mahasiswa FISIP Unsoed, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan yaitu gaya hidup memiliki arah hubungan positif dengan perilaku konsumtif fesyen mahasiswa FISIP Unsoed. Artinya, semakin tinggi gaya hidup, maka perilaku konsumtif fesyen mahasiswa FISIP Unsoed juga semakin tinggi/konsumtif. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah gaya hidup, maka perilaku konsumtif fesyen mahasiswa FISIP Unsoed juga semakin rendah/tidak konsumtif. Kata Kunci: Gaya hidup, perilaku konsumtif, fesyen ABSTRACT Fashion is related to language style, behavior, and hobbies about specific clothing models. A person's tendency when always updating the fashion model can affect lifestyle. A person's lifestyle includes a set of activities, habits, and patterns of response to clothing can reflect social status. Dependence on certain clothing styles can make needs no longer a priority, but only as a complement to lifestyle. The act of buying clothing products excessively is a consumptive behavior. The purpose research to analyze relationship between lifestyle and fashion consumptive behavior of FISIP Unsoed students. This study used a survey method and a proportionate stratified random sampling technique by giving questionnaires to respondents. Data will be presented of frequency distribution tables and cross tables, then will be analyzed with Tau Kendall Correlation. Based on the results of research that has been conducted about relationship between lifestyle and fashion consumptive behavior of FISIP Unsoed students, can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between lifestyle and fashion consumptive behavior of FISIP Unsoed students. That is, if the higher of lifestyle then higher fashion consumptive behavior of FISIP Unsoed students. Conversely, if the lower of lifestyle then lower fashion consumptive behavior of FISIP Unsoed students. Keywords: Lifestyle, consumptive behaviour, fashion
