Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how the role of interpersonal communication between librarians and users in libraries through the narrative literature review method with four references taken through the Google Scholer and Dimensions database from 2013 to 2023. The results of this study show that librarians have an important role in interpersonal communication between librarians and users in libraries.  Because interpersonal or interpersonal communication is the delivery of information or a message involving two or more people through direct interaction so that it may get verbal or nonverbal reactions that are useful in establishing positive good relationships between librarians and users, avoiding conflicts that may occur due to misunderstandings, and avoiding users from negative perceptions about librarians.  In which there are often obstacles such as misperceptions created by users to librarians or vice versa, lack of librarian sensitivity to user needs, and information that has not been conveyed properly.  however, it can be straightened out by effective interpersonal communication applied with a librarian skill in understanding the meaning of equality, positivity, supportiveness, empathy, and openness. Keywords: Interpersonal Communication; Users; LibrarianAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran komunikasi interpersonal pustakawan dengan pemustaka di perpustakaan melalui metode narrative literature review dengan empat rujukan yang diambil melalui database google scholer dan dimensions dari tahun 2013 sampai 2023. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pustakawan  komunikasi interpersonal antara pustakawan dengan pemustaka memiliki peran penting dalam perpustakaan. karena komunikasi interpersonal atau antar pribadi merupakan penyampaian informasi atau suatu pesan melibatkan dua orang atau lebih melalui interaksi secara langsung sehingga mungkin mendapatkan reaksi secara verbal maupun nonverbal yang bermanfaat dalam menjalin hubungan baik yang postitif antara pustakawan dengan pemustaka, menghindari konflik yang mungkin terjadi sebab kesalahpahaman, dan menghindarkan pemustaka dari presepsi negative mengenai pustakawan. Yang dimana didalamnya sering terjadi hambatan seperti kesalahan presepsi yang diciptakan pemustaka terhadap pustakawan atau sebaliknya, kurangnya kepekaan pustakawan terhadap kebutuhan pemustaka, dan informasi-informasi yang belum tersampaikan dengan baik. namun hal tersebut dapat diluruskan dengan komunikasi interpersonal efektif yang diterapkan dengan suatu keterampilan pustakawan dalam memahami arti dari adanya kesetaraan (equality), Rasapositif (positiveness), Dukungan (supportiveness) Empati (empathy), dan Keterbukaan (openness).Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Interpersonal; Pemustaka; Pustakawan

Abstract

Abstract : Librarians as employees of the State's national apparatus, have duties as planners, executors and supervisors of the implementation of tasks in providing services to the community. This also applies to persons with disabilities, that they also have the right to receive information, to be able to interpret things that may be difficult for them to understand. Librarians must also have high creativity, because they must be creative in conveying basic literacy for persons with disabilities. If it goes well, the purpose of the library in providing services to the community can certainly be achieved. This study uses the literature study method, analyzes previous research topics, then presents a new theory and is different from previous research, but still related to previous research. The data used in this paper is the result of previous research that has been published in various online journals both nationally and internationally. This data collection is carried out by selecting the source of information needed by the author in each journal which is taken according to predetermined criteria. These criteria include, the year of the source of the information, ranging from 2013 to 2023. As for the purpose of this study, researchers want to find out what the role of librarians is in reading and writing literacy to convey to children with disabilities.

Abstract

Perpustakaan digital merupakan salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan inovasi teknologi informasi yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi di era digital. Tujuan penelitian studi literatur ini untuk meninjau implementasi perpustakaan digital dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi. Studi ini dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis hasil penelitian dan artikel-artikel yang relevan tentang perpustakaan digital dan aksesibilitas informasi. Dalam kesimpulannya, implementasi perpustakaan digital dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi dan literasi digital pada masyarakat. Namun, upaya-upaya perlu dilakukan untuk mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi perpustakaan digital. Studi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan perpustakaan digital dan aksesibilitas informasi di Indonesia. Digital Library Innovation in Improving Information Accessibility. Digital library is a form of utilization of information technology innovation that is very important to improve information accessibility in the digital era. This literature study research aims to review the implementation of digital libraries in improving information accessibility. This study analyzed research results and relevant articles on digital libraries and information accessibility. In conclusion, implementing digital libraries can help improve information accessibility and digital literacy in the community. However, efforts must be made to overcome the challenges faced in digital library implementation. This study is expected to contribute to the development of digital libraries and information accessibility in Indonesia.

Abstract

Gamifikasi adalah metode inovatif untuk menarik minat pembaca muda di era digital. Dengan elemen-elemen permainan, perpustakaan dapat menciptakan suasana yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode narrative literature review untuk menganalisis dua rujukan tentang gamifikasi dan layanan perpustakaan. Hasilnya menunjukkan gamifikasi berpotensi meningkatkan penggunaan layanan dan koleksi perpustakaan. Elemen permainan dapat menarik minat pembaca muda yang sebelumnya kurang tertarik. Gamifikasi juga meningkatkan partisipasi pemustaka dan masyarakat dalam menggunakan layanan perpustakaan dengan efisien dan menyenangkan. Penerapan gamifikasi menciptakan suasana interaktif dan menyenangkan di perpustakaan, meningkatkan keterlibatan, motivasi, kreativitas, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis pembaca muda. Dengan strategi yang tepat, perpustakaan bisa menjadi lebih menarik dan relevan bagi generasi muda di era digital. Gamifikasi diharapkan bisa meningkatkan partisipasi pemustaka dan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan layanan perpustakaan dengan efisien dan menyenangkan. Gamification in Library Services to Attract Young Readers.  Gamification is an innovative method to attract young readers in the digital age. With game elements, libraries can create a more engaging and interactive atmosphere. This research uses the narrative literature review to analyze two references on gamification and library services. The results show that gamification can potentially increase the use of library services and collections. Game elements can attract young readers who were previously less interested. Gamification also efficiently and enjoyably increases user and community participation in library services. Implementing gamification creates an interactive and fun atmosphere in the library, increasing young readers' engagement, motivation, creativity and critical thinking skills. With the right strategy, libraries can become more attractive and relevant to the younger generation in the digital age. Gamification is expected to increase user and community participation in utilizing library services efficiently and enjoyably.
