Abstract

A Durian fruit farmer in Branjang Village has difficulties cultivating durian fruit; they can also not maximize the use of durian skin waste. By collaborating with the stakeholders involved, it is possible to increase durian fruit yields through cross-cultivation techniques and managing unused durian skin waste. The Service Team has given solutions such as the need for training for durian farmers regarding durian cultivation crossbreeding techniques to have superior durian varieties, training in managing durian skin waste, which can be used as biogas, as well as collaboration with related parties such as agricultural research institutions, local and nonlocal governmental organizations to support project implementation. The method includes three activities: the selection process and training, coaching clinic group, and personal communication. The results are that durian fruit farmers produce superior varieties of durian fruit after training in crossbreeding durian cultivation. They will be able to increase sales, and durian fruit farmers will be able to process durian skin waste that has been unused into trash; after this training has finished, they can process it into biogas, which has high selling value

Abstract

MSMEs play a crucial role in improving the economic well-being of communities, particularly women, who are key players in the creative economy. However, challenges in business management and product marketing remain barriers for women entrepreneurs in increasing their competitiveness. This community service program aims to empower women entrepreneurs in the Knitting MSMEs in Nogosari II, Bantul Regency, through gender equity-based entrepreneurship training. These activities include training in digital marketing strategies, strengthening managerial capacity, and optimizing the use of creative economy platforms to expand business networks. Over the course of one month, the program will be implemented through outreach, mentoring, and hands-on practice in utilizing digital technology as a marketing and business development tool. With this training, it is hoped that women entrepreneurs in Bantul will be able to increase the productivity and competitiveness of their businesses, thereby contributing to the sustainable economic well-being of the community.

Abstract

Abstrak Desa Plumbon memiliki potensi besar di sektor pertanian, namun masih menghadapi kendala dalam pemasaran produk secara berkelanjutan dan berbasis digital. Kondisi tersebut menjadi dasar pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan potensi ekonomi lokal melalui pengembangan agrowisata pertanian dan penerapan E-Marketplace sebagai sarana pemasaran digital produk hasil tani dan UMKM. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode partisipatif meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan praktik langsung yang melibatkan kelompok tani, karang taruna, pelaku UMKM, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya. Analisis potensi desa dilakukan untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan agrowisata yang terintegrasi dengan digitalisasi ekonomi lokal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya perubahan sosial positif antara lain peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, terbentuknya kolaborasi antar kelompok warga serta peningkatan kesadaran terhadap pentingnya inovasi teknologi dalam pengelolaan usaha desa. Selain itu, implementasi website E-Marketplace terbukti efektif dalam memperluas jangkauan pemasaran produk pertanian dan kuliner khas Desa Plumbon. kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan sinergi antara pengembangan agrowisata dan penerapan teknologi digital yang memiliki peran dalam menciptakan keberlanjutan ekonomi desa serta memperkuat daya saing produk lokal di era transformasi digital. Kata kunci: agrowisata; desa plumbon; e-marketplace; pertanian; pariwisata. Abstract Plumbon Village has significant potential in the agricultural sector but still faces challenges in achieving sustainable and digitally based product marketing. This condition formed the basis for implementing a communitu service program aimed at enhancing the village’s local economic potential through the development of agricultural agrotiurism and the adoption of an E-Marketplace as a digital marketing platform for agricultural product and local MSMEs. This program employed a participatory approach, which included outreach activities, training, and hands-on practice involving farmer groups, youth organizations, MSME actors, and other stakeholders. A village potential analysis was conducted to formulate strategies for developing agrotourism integrated with the digitalization of the local economy. The results indicate social changes, including increased community participation of technological innovation in managing village enterprises. In addition, the implementation of the E-Marketplace website has proven effective in expanding the market reach of Plumbon Village’s agricultural and culinary products. This community service initiative demonstrates a synergy between agrotourism development and digital technology adoption,  contributing to sustainable village economic growth and strengthening the competitiveness of local products in the era of digital transformation. Keywords: agroturism; agriculture; e-marketplace; plumbon village; tourism.
