Abstract

This study to determine the effect of the quality of work life and job insecurity on turnover intention with the mediation of organizational commitment. This research was conducted contract employee in Semarang PT.AST with the number of respondents as many as 293 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire that tested the validity and reliability, and to explain the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable using a multiple linear regression equation, whereas hypothesis testing using F-test, t test and the beta coefficient. The sampling technique in this research is proporsionl stratified random sampling. The results showed that the quality of work life positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, job insecurity does not affect the organizational commitment, the quality of work life does not affect the turnover intention, job insecurity positive and significant effect on the turnover intention, organizational commitment does not affect the turnover intention, organizational commitment does not mediated the effect of the quality of work life and job insecurity with turnover intention. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is a hard time for entrepreneurs because economic activity will undoubtedly suffer. Women entrepreneurs, in particular, are more vulnerable to the pandemic's adverse effects on their businesses due to their dual role as entrepreneurs and housewives, which limits their movements more than men. This study investigates the impact of passion, family life, and government support on the success of women entrepreneurs. As a statistical analysis tool, the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling method was employed. The findings show that passion and government support have a positive impact on the success of female entrepreneurs, whereas family life has no impact on it. The results are expected taken into account by the government so that the programs and systems put in place to support the success of women entrepreneurs can be maintained and improved.

Abstract

This study wants to see the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics, quality of human resources, and marketing strategies on business development, in this case MSMEs in the city of Salatiga, Central Java. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis method. The population is SMEs in the city of Salatiga and obtained 60 respondents with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The results of the partial test showed that all independent variables had a significant effect on the dependent variable with a significance above 0.005. The contribution of the entrepreneurial characteristics variable, the quality of human resources, and the marketing strategy based on the simultaneous test is 75% of the business development variable (Y). Characteristics of entrepreneurs is the independent variable that most dominantly affects the dependent variable with a t-count value of 4.217.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the role of service quality in creating a significant relationship between digital marketing capabilities and marketing performance in construction companies on the island of Java. The research method was carried out quantitatively by collecting data by distributing questionnaires through electronic forms and printed formats which were delivered directly to respondents where the respondents were directors working at contractor companies on the island of Java. The sampling technique was carried out purposively based on the distinction of directors who had worked for at least five years in positive companies on the island of Java. Based on these criteria, there are 211 company directories that have met these criteria. Data were analyzed using statistical software AMOS 22. The results showed that digital marketing capabilities had a positive and significant effect on service quality. Digital marketing capabilities have a positive and significant effect on marketing performance. Likewise, service quality has a positive and significant effect on marketing performance

Abstract

The research aims to assess entrepreneurial mindset’s effect on entrepreneurial intention through psychological capital dimensions, i.e., resilience, optimism, hope, and self-efficacy. The paper develops the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) concept. This is a quantitative type of research using an explanatory approach. The specified population was final students of Universities at Semarang City. The sample was randomly selected by 200 respondents using Google Forms. Then, the method of data analysis applied was SEM-PLS with SmartPLS. The authors pointed out that entrepreneurial mindset significantly affects resilience, optimism, hope, and self-efficacy. Next, resilience also affects entrepreneurial intentions. Otherwise, optimism, hope, and self-efficacy do not significantly affect entrepreneurial intentions. This theoretical study’s contribution is expected to help extend the TPB concept and solve the problems related to student’s entrepreneurial intentions. Abstract

A Durian fruit farmer in Branjang Village has difficulties cultivating durian fruit; they can also not maximize the use of durian skin waste. By collaborating with the stakeholders involved, it is possible to increase durian fruit yields through cross-cultivation techniques and managing unused durian skin waste. The Service Team has given solutions such as the need for training for durian farmers regarding durian cultivation crossbreeding techniques to have superior durian varieties, training in managing durian skin waste, which can be used as biogas, as well as collaboration with related parties such as agricultural research institutions, local and nonlocal governmental organizations to support project implementation. The method includes three activities: the selection process and training, coaching clinic group, and personal communication. The results are that durian fruit farmers produce superior varieties of durian fruit after training in crossbreeding durian cultivation. They will be able to increase sales, and durian fruit farmers will be able to process durian skin waste that has been unused into trash; after this training has finished, they can process it into biogas, which has high selling value

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to examine the role of networking capability to improve company performance through the use of business process agility in construction companies in Java Island. The research method was carried out quantitatively by collecting data by distributing questionnaires through electronic forms and printed formats which were delivered directly to respondents where the respondents were the company's top management, such as directors, CEOs, company owners, and company commissioners who work for contractor companies on the island of Java. The sampling technique was carried out purposively based on the criteria of top management who had worked for at least five years in a contractor company in Java Island. Based on these criteria, there are 254 top management who have met these criteria. Data were analyzed using statistical software AMOS 22. The results showed that networking capability had a positive and significant effect on business process agility and company performance. Likewise, process business agility has a positive effect on firm performance.

Abstract

Abstrak Hadirnya Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) menjadi harapan besar bagi desa karena dapat menunjang kesejahteraan ekonomi desa. Namun seyogyanya hal ini tidak berlaku bagi warga Desa Kalisidi, Ungaran Barat, Kecamatan Semarang. BUMDes yang sudah terbentuk sejak 2017 belum mampu berfungsi secara optimal dan belum bisa memperkuat tatanan perekonomian desa. Tim Pengabdi mengusulkan solusi atas permasalahan tersebut dengan melakukan Revitalisasi Tata Kelola Manajemen BUMDes sebagai upaya dalam penanggulangan pengangguran. Dalam proses pelaksanaannya, diperlukan kolaborasi dan koordinasi dari beberapa pihak terkait dalam mendukung realisasi kegiatan tersebut. Jumlah warga Desa Kalisidi yang ikut terlibat dalam kegiatan pengabdian sejumlah 20 orang. Metode yang diaplikasikan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini terdiri dari kegiatan kegiatan Pelatihan keterampilan dan Pengembangan kapasitas SDM, diversifikasi usaha BUMDes, peningkatan aksesibilitas modal dan pemanfaatan teknologi, pengembangan kewirausahaan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat, pemasaran dan pengelolaan jaringan, evaluasi dan monitoring berkelanjutan serta kolaborasi dengan pemerintah dan lembaga swasta. Dengan pelatihan manajemen kelembagaan, pencatatan keuangan, serta penyusunan rencana bisnis yang terstruktur baik, hal ini mampu memperkuat kapasitas pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengurus BUMDes, pembentukan unit usaha baru, penyerapan tenaga kerja lokal bahkan mampu menekan angka pengangguran di Desa Kalisidi. Kata kunci: revitalisasi manajemen; bumdes; pengangguran; Desa Kalisidi Abstract The presence of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) is a great hope for villages because it can support the economic welfare of the village. However, this should not apply to residents of Kalisidi Village, West Ungaran, Semarang District. BUMDes which has been established since 2017 has not been able to function optimally and has not been able to strengthen the village's economic order. The Community Service Team proposed a solution to this problem by Revitalizing BUMDes Management Governance as an effort to overcome poverty. In the implementation process, collaboration and coordination are needed from several related parties to support the realization of these activities. The number of participants involved in the community service activities was 30 people. The methods applied in this community service consist of Skills Training and Human Resource Capacity Development activities, BUMDes business diversification, increasing capital accessibility and technology utilization, developing entrepreneurship and community empowerment, marketing and network management, continuous evaluation and monitoring, and collaboration with the government and private institutions. With institutional management, financial records, and the preparation of a well-structured business plan, this is able to strengthen the knowledge and skills capacity of BUMDes administrators, the formation of new business units, the absorption of local workers and even reduce poverty rates in Kalisidi Village. Keywords: management revitalization; bumdes; unemployment; Kalisidi Village

Abstract

Revitalizing a Sustainable Independent Economy through diversifying durian skin waste food in Branjang Village is a positive step. Durian, as a typical tropical fruit and a leading commodity in the Branjang Tourism Village, has economic potential that can be further optimized. To be able to develop superior products in the Branjang Tourism Village, this can be done by developing innovative processed products from durian skin waste so that the income obtained can encourage the economic independence of the Branjang Village community in a sustainable manner. Durian fruit farmers in Branjang Village have not been able to make maximum use of durian skin waste management which has the potential to bring in "additional income" apart from selling durian fruit. Not only durian flesh can generate profits, but by utilizing various processed foods from durian skin waste it will continue to increase and improve the economy for the people of Branjang Village. To support the success of this community service program, synergy is needed from the stakeholders involved so that the management of unused durian skin waste can be functional and have economic value for the community around Branjang Village.The Service Team proposes a solution to overcome the problems mentioned above by providing assistance to durian fruit farmers regarding techniques for managing durian skin waste so that they have the skills to produce a variety of quality processed innovative products by utilizing durian skin waste in order to further increase market awareness and ensure product quality. Processed from durian skin waste has high competitiveness and is an economic source towards financial independence. Collaboration and coordination with related parties such as agricultural research institutions, local government and non-governmental organizations is required to support project implementation.The method used in this community service includes 3 activities, namely Counseling and Workshops, Skills training and HR capacity development, Personal Communication

Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam berbasis kesetaraan gender di SMP Negeri 1 Bolaang Uki. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Bolaang Uki, jenis penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah kualitatif. Adapun pendekatan penelitian yang dilakukan ialah pendekatan fenomenologis. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian selama 2 bulan. Subjek      dalam penelitian adalah guru pendidikan agama Islam dan peserta didik sebagai subjek. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah proses implementasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam berbasis kesetaraan gender di SMP Negeri 1 Bolaang Uki. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Islam berbasis kesetaraan gender sudah diterapkan pada kegiatan-kegiatan di sekolah. Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut masih sederhana karena hanya sebatas kegiatan tambahan yang dilakukan oleh sekolah. Faktor-faktor Pendukung Implementasi Pendidikan Agama Islam Berbasis Kesetaraan Gender terdiri dari faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor Internal yakni kepala sekolah, guru, kurikulum dan materi pelajaran khusus nilai-nilai Kesetraan gender. Faktor Eskternal yakni  Orang Tua dan Lingkungan. Solusi yang dilakukan oleh sekolah terhadap kesulitan implementasi nilai-nilai  pendidikan Islam berbasis kesetaraan gender yaitu penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam tentang gender, memberikan pelatihan dan pendalaman materi pendidikan dalam Islam dalam memahami gender serta pembentukan lembaga khusus dalam mengawasi perilaku guru ketika melakukan diskriminasi terhadap kaum perempuan.
