This research is motivated by the low level of student discipline at SMP Negeri 26 Sarolangun, which is demonstrated through various violations of school rules, such as tardiness, non-compliance with school rules, lack of responsibility in completing assignments, and low awareness in carrying out religious activities. This study aims to describe the strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping students' discipline, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and explain the solutions taken to overcome these obstacles. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was tested using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping students' discipline are carried out through role models, habituation, providing advice and motivation, emotional approaches, providing educational sanctions, and collaboration with parents and the school. Supporting factors include the support of the principal, cooperation between teachers, and a conducive school environment. Inhibiting factors include low student awareness, the influence of social circles, uncontrolled technology use, and lack of parental supervision. To overcome these obstacles, teachers provide ongoing guidance and motivation, establish communication with parents, and strengthen coordination with homeroom teachers and the school. This study shows that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teacher strategies play a significant role in shaping and improving student discipline
