Abstract

The connection between humans and nature has a significant influence on various aspects of life, including physical, mental and spiritual health. The eco-pastoral approach is a combination of ecological principles and spirituality which aims to support a comprehensive healing process by utilizing natural elements, especially natural sounds. In the context of the environmental crisis and increasing mental health disorders, this approach offers a way to utilize nature as a means of healing that strengthens humans' relationship with God and the natural surroundings. Natural sounds, such as flowing water, birdsong, and the breeze, have therapeutic effects, helping to relieve stress, promote calm, and support spiritual healing. This article examines the eco-pastoral approach, the relationship between humans, nature and the healing process, as well as the role of natural sounds in therapy. Abstract

Masa remaja adalah periode kritis yang penuh dengan dinamika perkembangan emosi, sosial, dan akademik. Di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), banyak siswa menghadapi tantangan seperti krisis identitas, tekanan teman sebaya, masalah keluarga, serta kecemasan akademik. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi peran strategis bimbingan dan konseling dalam mendampingi remaja melewati masa transisi ini. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara dengan guru BK di beberapa SMP di Sulawesi Utara, ditemukan bahwa layanan konseling mampu membentuk kesadaran diri, meningkatkan keterampilan sosial, serta membantu siswa menghadapi tekanan psikis dan tantangan akademik. Dengan integrasi pendekatan psikologis, pedagogis, dan nilai-nilai spiritual, konseling menjadi ruang aman dan suportif bagi remaja untuk bertumbuh secara utuh. Artikel ini menegaskan pentingnya konselor sekolah dalam membentuk karakter remaja serta menciptakan budaya sekolah yang sehat dan peduli.
