Abstract

This study analyzes the Direct Marketing and Personal Selling strategies at PT. Duta Merpati Indonesia and their impact on sales and customer relationships. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. The results showed that Direct Marketing through email and social media is effective in reaching customers and increasing responses, despite challenges such as the perception of messages as spam. Personal Selling has been shown to build strong customer relationships, but is constrained by the lack of an accurate customer database, making it difficult to measure the success of the strategy. Both strategies contribute significantly to increasing sales and customer loyalty. The challenges identified, such as the need for improved digital infrastructure and sales force training, require special attention. Optimal implementation of both strategies can create more value for customers and drive the company's sales growth.

Abstract

Air Terjun Tumpak Sewu yang terletak di Desa Sidomulyo, Kecamatan Pronojiwo, Kabupaten Lumajang, merupakan objek wisata alam yang telah dikenal luas sejak tahun 2015. Wisata ini menawarkan pemandangan spektakuler dari ketinggian, yang memanjakan mata pengunjung, dan berhasil menarik perhatian baik masyarakat lokal maupun wisatawan mancanegara. Berdasarkan popularitasnya yang terus meningkat dan pembangunan yang melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat, peneliti tertarik untuk mengkaji. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi Air Terjun Tumpak Sewu sebagai objek wisata budaya yang menarik, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi pustaka. Melalui kajian pustaka, penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai informasi yang diperoleh dari sumber-sumber relevan, seperti jurnal, buku, dan dokumen resmi, yang membahas potensi, tantangan, dan strategi pengembangan objek wisata bersejarah tersebut. Air Terjun Tumpak Sewu di Lumajang, Jawa Timur, adalah destinasi wisata alam yang terkenal dengan keindahan spektakuler dan suasana menenangkan. Daya tarik ini menarik wisatawan lokal dan mancanegara, terutama saat musim liburan. Namun, pengelolaan destinasi ini menghadapi tantangan terkait keberlanjutan lingkungan, fasilitas, dan promosi. Diperlukan inovasi dalam pengelolaan, seperti adopsi teknologi untuk pemantauan pengunjung, energi terbarukan, dan transportasi ramah lingkungan. Pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal dalam pengelolaan wisata juga penting untuk meningkatkan ekonomi dan menjaga hubungan harmonis dengan alam. Strategi pemasaran melalui media sosial, kolaborasi industri, dan promosi budaya lokal dapat meningkatkan daya tarik Tumpak Sewu. Dengan pengelolaan yang komprehensif, melibatkan pemerintah, masyarakat, dan sektor swasta, Tumpak Sewu berpotensi menjadi destinasi wisata berkelanjutan kelas dunia.

Abstract

Fiqh learning in fifth-grade students at MI Muhammadiyah Kedungwaras is still dominated by one-way lecture methods, resulting in students being less active and learning outcomes not meeting the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), particularly on the topic of the sacrifice ritual. This study aims to: (1) determine the process of developing crossword puzzle learning media using talking sticks, (2) determine the feasibility of the developed crossword puzzle learning media using talking sticks, and (3) determine the effectiveness of this learning media in improving student learning outcomes. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Data collection instruments included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and pre- and post-tests, with 25 fifth-grade students as participants. The results showed that (1) the development process proceeded systematically through the five ADDIE stages, resulting in media that met students' needs, such as active student involvement in learning. (2) The media's suitability was determined by validation results from media experts at 82.5% and 77.5%, material experts at 80%, student responses at 79%, and teachers at 85%, all of which were considered suitable to very suitable. (3) The media's effectiveness was demonstrated by an increase in the average student score from 64.48 (pre-test) to 86.36 (post-test), and an N-Gain value of 0.64, which fell into the moderate but effective category in improving student learning outcomes.
